The day I bought this the clerk said that it was the best MGS title to date. I played over a 3 day period and have beaten the game, to say the least I was very content with the game. It provided the challenge and atmosphere of any MGS game. I would say this, alongside Snake Eater, is one of my favorite games to play.

Im a huge fan of Metal Gear. I have completed MGS1 2 3 4 numerous nuuumerous times including Portable Ops and Portable Ops +. I do not see how this game is any different then portable Ops Plus when it comes to tactile gameplay. I was hoping for a more unique style due to its ps3 Counterpart (MGS4) wich has become one of the most epic in todays sneaking games. I was looking for the same results just on a lower scale considering its a hand held console. Its missin that unique vibe of anticipation

@meeatyou13 I felt the same way about Peace Walker... but now having played, I can confidently say that this really is a true sequel to MGS4. In fact, this game was actually titled "MGS5" at one point. Storywise, its right after Portable Ops and gameplaywise, its way more fun. Just go get it already!

Im getting Peace Walker on the 12th of this month, i can't fucking wait!!! OMFG its so nerve racking, i even go down to bes buy to look at the shiny green psps, they have fucking 20! at my local Best Buy, I ONLY WANT 1 DAMNIT!!! lol. While adhoc is superior to Wi-Fi; what with PS3's adhoc Party features in' all. I could understand not everybody owns/ or wants a PS3, even though I'd recommend it to any PSP gamer. But we can't always have it our way. So let's hope adhoc is considerably better than Wi-Fi mode, and hopefully not the other way around for those of us who do own a PS3. Peace Walker's multiplayer will probably have time issues, which I hate. And that's also not including Wi-Fi mode drains the shit out your battery!

the demo is amazing. i cant stop playing the second mission, my best time is 5 minutes with no alerts, no kills (also, i didnt use that balloon thing once). i love how arcadey the game is, the smaller areas (like the metal gear games) and the simpler gameplay makes stealth even more enjoyable. this is my favorite mgs game (other than mgs4). it seems that people are split onto which mgs games are best. some say mgs is the best, some say mgs2, some say mgs3 and some say mgs4. kojima is the best.
