@lapartman You have to look at the rails too. I run 750W, so I have head room to OC the cpu and gpu. Anything under 650w your looking at heat and might cause lock up and shut down issues. There are web sites will add all hardware power together, and tell you what you need to power your system. add your Fans, Ram, GPU, CPU. I would post the site for you but youtube won't let me. I'll add it to my channel as soon I could find that site again.

Ok when I was running 100-150 fraps. That was on a 20" 1900 x 900 monitor. Now I am runing two monitors. The 23" 1920 x 1080P Full HD monitor the Fraps is 45-60.

@djmoff123 It should run it with no problems,High and some ultra. You might be able turn all ultra on and turn off HBAQ and AA. keep shadow on high. when you use one card you always have to tweek here and there to a good smooth gameplay.

@MrRoflmao1000 I have 8gb of 1600hz mb. but it is a SLI issue or psu problem. If you have the same set up as me. your psu should be no less than 700watts. Download the new drivers that just came out this week. everytime you update the drivers the SLI disables, you must go into the control panel and enable it again.Also check your bridge that goes accross the cards to make sure it didn't come loose. if your not using a bridge, get one. Your not running full SLI.

@ScOpEuOuT Its not Overclock now. when I did overclock it back in Jan. it did made a big difference on my 3dmark back in march, I haven't OC it after that. there is no reason to over clock it yet. nothing slows this thing yet. I have the CPU-Z and the 3Dmark on my steam profile. its chaz2009. it won't let me put the link on here.

When i use fraps, everytime it goes down to 20 fps even when recording to a seperate drive. I can play on ultra with my gtx460s in sli, but i cant even play low with fraps without it staying at 20fps. Which version of fraps do u use, and did u have this problem?

@matthewgutz I'm at work, but I'm sure I have the 3.4.5 or 3.4.6 full version, and no that doesn't happen to me. When fraps is recording, it pretty much stays around 75fps. I'll check when I get home. I also use a seperate drive to record.

Thanks for the info, i changed to fraps 3.4.6 and its much better. The fps for full-size at 1080p Ultra still hovers from 30ish to 60 but its a perfect 60 fps at high

@matthewgutz Did a new test, all on ultra, just turned off AA. Drastic improvements. fraps full sized 1080p getting from 45-60 which is very playable. Thanks again for the help

@matthewgutz I use Half-size and 60fps on fraps settings, then use windows movie maker to edit and upload to you tube. The video turns out just fine and its not so hard on your hardware. I'm glad I could help out and your welcome.

120fps on my 1920-1080p 36" HDTV | 150fps on my 1600-900 20" monitor. If you Google it, two GTX 460 in Sli is alot faster than one GTX 580. Two GTX460 is under 300$ and one GTX 580 is about 500$. So if you already have a GTX 460 just get another one. it runs this game smooth.
