@jcdgcrh As far as I remember, there is an optional codec call somewhere in the game that informs you that they were fitted with cow hearts to power their organic parts (mainly the legs) which explains both why shooting their legs hurts them so much, and why chaff grenades don't totally knock them out, like with the mini geckos.

As for why then they actually make the noise of an animal that they possibly have the heart of? I'm not sure, to make them freaky and frightening to PMCs/rebels/etc.?

@R thats part of the game... the audio gets lower to make it more realistic or to make it simplier if u were snake thats ho everything would sound to u ... if otocon was talkin and ur in a flashback or lookin at a comp screen during mission briefing.... then its cuhz ur more focused on whats in front of u besides whos talking to you
