Can't wait to try out for this, but I really hate how abridged this song is. Yes, I know this is supposed to be the abridged version of the play, and therefore the song is abridged, but come ON, did they have to make it that short? They could've at least left the part about the nuthouse and the squirrels. :P

Oh well. I'm probably being too expectant. One of the downsides of having the soundtrack for the actual musical...XD

Miss.Hannigan was a very fun role to play, The show is pretty good as a whole, but Miss.Hannigan is the comic relief plus she's the iconic character you love to hate. She's one of my favorite roles that Ive ever done...Good luck to those of you who are auditioning:)

my school did this in my 10th grade year, i was part of the show orchestra in which i played the glockenspiel. the alto saxophone player played this and easy street soooo well. it was stuck in my head for months..

Our choral teacher did not mention for us not to, and I thought I sounded rather fine, for a Baritone, that is. The rest of us got a kick out of it for messing around.

I auditioned for Annie today and had to sing "Maybe" and my voice cracked on the high notes, but then I sang this in a deeper voice than the track, and was complimented on my twist on the song. I think I might get Hannigan. Weird.

If you have a hard time singing high like me, then on the big finale long thing stop for a second and then switch your key to low and have fun with the part. make sure to scream alot and make your self mad before you play her. good luck to all the ms. hannigans ou there!
