  • The Catholic church is now focused on reproselytizing Protestants who fill the churches because of social programs, music, community organizing, outreach, good works etc. These are not Christians but tares among the wheat who will be pulled back into Catholicism as false signs and wonders are performed and spread by the Vatican. In the last days many shall fall away from the faith giving themselves over to seducing spirits and the doctrines of men

  • @JesusNonEnviromental sounds like syfy babble to me....prehaps you are becoming confused.....

  • @stevesilvia Obviously you don't read Revelations or I Timothy, Oh thats right you think its about Mary

  • @JesusNonEnviromental I do read the bible, I just don't mix it with syfy theories... Nor do I assume ti refers to others, I leave the judgment to God.

  • The Catholic church is powerful and rich, Anyone who is in the church is attracted to these qualities, but they are qualities that are an abomination to God. God does not use riches or the secular power of the Vatican government to further His Gospel. God will knock down every stone of the Vatican and he will condemn the pope to eternal Hell for trying to immitate His Authority

  • @JesusNonEnviromental ----another protestant spreading gossip....we will pray for you.

  • @stevesilvia No, not another protestant, another elect of God who can discern between devils and saints

  • @JesusNonEnviromental Really? Prove your accusations to us here....Prove that I am attracted to the church because of what you call are her as "powerful and rich". Prove to us all that God will condemn the Pope. If you can't then what you are spreading is gossip. Please show exact sources, we are all waiting to see you show how you came up with your reasons for your accusations about me as a Catholic....

  • @stevesilvia Im only here to help you come out of darkness and religious hocus pocus and lies which keep men in their sins. You cannot use the word of God because my love for the Word of God keeps me grounded in truth and I cannot be overtaken with lies from men. I do not follow the pope or the catholic historical traditions. Again, once you are on a path of error it will continually lead you down a path to further error and confusion.

  • @JesusNonEnviromental Tell me what saves you from your sin and why you will enter into Gods Eternal Kingdom. The Jews erred and crucified the Lord and to this day have not recognized their error and die in their sins. Joseph Smith who created the Mormon faith has erred in his love for God and today his followers die in their sins. Explain to me what saves you my friend and I will respond with no judgement but compassion

  • @JesusNonEnviromental Prove your accusations to us here....Prove that I am attracted to the church because of what you call are her as "powerful and rich". Prove to us all that God will condemn the Pope. If you can't then what you are spreading is gossip. Please show exact sources, we are all waiting to see you show how you came up with your reasons for your accusations about me as a Catholic.... I'm still waiting

  • @stevesilvia Those who are Catholic are so because they are seperated from the Revelation of Jesus Christ. You seek God with rituals as the Jew, with the works of your hands as Cain. You say Lord, Lord but your heart does not love God because God does not love you as yet. To love God, God must first love you and then no power or deception from Hell shall seperate you from His love. I can tell you because I am in Christ and Christ is in me that you are still in darkness and rebellion

  • @JesusNonEnviromental "Lord, Lord but your heart does not love God because God does not love you as yet." My friend and brother in Christ, Have you read or heard what we Catholics say from our HEART to judge us something like that? Can you read our minds and feel our heart? If not let me say this to you. "1Do not judge so that you will not be judged. 2For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7

  • @JesusNonEnviromental Salvation is given to us by Faith but not by faith alone. It is true that Grace is a free gift from God (Ephesians 2:8-9), but We are God's work of art, created in Christ Jesus for the Good Works which God has already designated to make up our WAY OF LIFE (Ephesians 2:10). God wants us to respond with our Faith. This is what Catholics believe. Salvation is through FAITH and GOOD WORKS. not Faith ALONE nor Works ALONE.

  • @bjcasper Sir, Romans 5:1 We are justified by faith, it can't be any clearer. Faith that we live is a culmination of a mans whole life of works, but the faith that saved you was the day you heard the Gospel and believed and Jesus Christ baptized with the Holy Ghost. Today is the day of Salvation 2 Cor 6:2 The day you believed was by the calling of God and by His Grace you stand before him years later in faith by his sustaining power and not your own

  • @JesusNonEnviromental Catholics believe that as the bible says, we must have faith to be saved, and that faith must be accompanied by our acts of charity and love....we must feed those who are hungry, ect.... "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but do not have works? Can faith save you? If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, So faith by itself, if it has not works, is dead".

    James 2:14-17 NRSV

  • @JesusNonEnviromental Romans 5:1 is 100% true. Yes we are save by faith. But Paul did not said it was faith alone. The whole context of the Bible is balance between Faith and Good Works. Jesus also said Mat5:3–10, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven…Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy…Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God…Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

  • @bjcasper What you said is true, but as we read Gal 3:3 we are instructed that Once you believed and were saved by faith are you now saved by the Flesh?? No, the flesh is at war with your new Spirit and you strive for perfection because you are not yet perfect in the flesh. Trust that God saves you by faith in His Son work alone and your good works will be rewarded but they are not done by your strength but God that has begun this work in you and will accomplish it. Phil 1:6

  • @JesusNonEnviromental Do you know the story behind the letters of Paul to Galatians? It was an incident happened in Antioch between Peter and Paul. Peter and other Jews like Barnabas and James thought that even Christian gentiles should follow mosaic law such as circumcision and dietary laws. But Paul insisted that not these laws saved christian gentiles but their faith in Jesus. and This is true. But the meaning of good works is not just that. It is Virtue, chastity and charity.

  • @bjcasper If you think it is by your actions and works that you are now saved then you have lost sight of how you entered in the Body of Christ and were Justified and Sanctified by Grace. Your actions and thoughts and works of charity are by the working of the Spirit of God in you and through you. You receive none of the Glory, it is by Gods grace that you even love Him and now somehow its by your goodness that you stand before God. I can lead you to water, I can't convince you to drink

  • @JesusNonEnviromental You are missing the point. and again, you judged me again. With the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ had made me to move in Christian life. God saved us but He did not removed our Free Will. Our Response to Faith depends on our actions. The difference is, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we are strengthening ourselves to follow what He wants us to do! Yet if we sinned, the grace can be lost. (And this will lead to another argument)

  • @bjcasper So, You are without Sin?? I didnt understand your last statement. When you sin you fall from Grace?? The bible says when we sin we have an advocate with the Father our Lord Jesus and when we confess the Sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and to cleanse us from all Unrighteousness. How can you fall from Grace when God loved you while you were yet a Sinner, how much more he loves you now that you have the Spirit of Christ

  • @JesusNonEnviromental My Friend and brother in Christ, Your question will be fully answered on the website I gave you on your personal message. the comment box here is so limited of characters while so much to answer your question and to make this understand you, the space here is not enough. Read all through out. God Bless.

  • @JesusNonEnviromental I'm still waiting for your proof. Prove your accusations, we are all waiting.

  • I was brought up Irish Catholic and went to a Catholic school, I was lucky as against all odds I somehow managed to renounce that faith.

I think it's disgusting for any parent to ABUSE their children by telling them "If you don't believe what I tell you to believe, sit in a church week after week slowly being brainwashed by mindlessly chanting supernatural fairytales, then you will burn in an eternity of hellfire!"

If you believe it? Fine, but don't inflict your delusions onto your children!!

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89,The resulting "nativist" movement, which achieved prominence in the 1840s, was whipped into a frenzy of anti-Catholicism that led to mob violence, the burning of Catholic property, and the killing of Catholics.[28] For example, the Philadelphia Nativist Riot, Bloody Monday, the Orange Riots in New York City in 1871 and 1872,[29] and the Ku Klux Klan-ridden South discriminated against Catholics..from Anti catholicism-wikipedia.

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89,A 32-year-old Catholic woman was beaten to death after she refused to enter an evangelical church in northeastern Brazil. She was passing by the Church of the Kingdom of God when two pastors ordered their followers to bring her inside to attend a ceremony. When she refused, the group held her ten-year-old daughter while the pastors dragged her by the hair and beat her in order to "exorcise the devil from her... "Nuts in the News," The American Rationalist, Nov./Dec. 1994

  • @servant1580 Would any Catholics do like this? No way! This is why I love to be a Catholic!

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89,as i continue Calvin a leader of protestant he persecuted some catholic like burning them a live. yes indeed the catholic church committed sins for the past century BUT the Late John Paul the Great ask for forgiveness for the sins of the church for the past centuries.i remember this from Matthew18:21-22 Jesus said forgive seventy-seven times,.i know GOD forgives the church,Now the question is,does the protestant ask for forgiveness for their sins to the catholic?

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89,Calvin sought to persecute heretics (particularly Roman Catholics) so as to keep Protestant believers in the lands divided by the Reformation faithful to his new teachings. He viciously persecuted the Spaniard, Michael Servetus, having him burnt alive on October 27, 1553. As early as 1545, Calvin had written, “If he [Servetus] comes to Geneva, I will never allow him to depart alive.” He kept his promise. frm word press.com....calvin is a protestant...

  • anti-catholic=anti-christ

  • Catholicism is a satanic cult. if you don't see how, then you're very deluded. "eat my body and drink my blood"<-Ew, gross.

  • ORTHODOXY OR DEATH

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89. our priest bless us by saying MAY GOD BLESS YOU IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER THE SON THE HOLY SPIRIT. He dint say i will bless you in my name. you are the one who violates the word of GOD by saying "God condems Catholic" you are already playing the role of God by stating that. Leviticus 16:32 And the priest who is anointed and consecrated as priest in his father’s place shall make atonement, wearing the holy linen garments.

  • Why all the argueing back and forth. All it needs is for whoever wants to know the

truth, instead of just trying to win an arguement ( a sin of pride), Ask God to show

    you the Truth. He will

  • This is total propoganda. The catholic church is the great whore in revelations (Revelation 17:4-5.) Remember the inqusition? The catholic church is out to kill all true christians, the papacy is in satan's camp and will support the antichrist. Besides, you are not to worship the virgin mary, you worship Jesus, you also can't get to heaven through works, it's faith in Jesus Christ alone that will let you into the kingdom of heaven (John 14:6) Repent now before it's too late.

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89, we don't worship Mary, that is just gossip and lies that your church teaches you...If you want to know the truth, just ask, if you have a question just ask. My prayers are that you will see the truth.

  • @stevesilvia Brother, please understand that Christ condemns the catholic church. The church in Rome is the whore talked about in revelations. You must understand that faith in Jesus Christ alone will save you, not works. And normal men cannot bless you either, only God can.

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89 If you can show me proof that what you say is true, please do so....I can not find any where in the bible where it says that Christ condemns the Catholic Church...By the way, Catholics believe that salvation is a free gift of God: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God;" Ephesians 2:8. Paul states "(God) will repay everyone according to his works" Romans 2:6

  • @stevesilvia God condemns the catholic church with the second commandment. You worship an idol of Jesus, true christians worship Jesus. When the preists bless you, that's a direct violation of god's word. Only god can bless men, men can't bless other men.

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89 last time I looked, we don't worship any statues.... we bless each other as the bible teaches us to do so, "Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not." Romans 12:14 So as you can see, your church has not taught you the truth of the Gospel....I still pray you will learn the truth, and as always, if you have a question, just ask....Also, you haven't proved that God condemns the Catholic Church....Why?

  • @stevesilvia Daniel 9:26, 11:37-38, Isaiah 14, 2 Thessalonians 2, Revelation 13, 17, 18. These are some verses that say the pope is antichrist. And you do worship and idol when you bow to the statue of mary and Jesus.

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89 you must be using a bible with your own interpretations...Isaiah 14:2 says "And the peoples will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them in the LORD’s land as male and female slaves They will take captive those who were their captors and rule over those who oppressed them" It doesn't say the Pope is the anti Christ....try again. Again, last time I looked, we don't worship idols....Your church teaches you lies...

  • @stevesilvia There was a comma between Isaiah 14 and 2 Thessalonians. Sorry for the confusion. But there are still plenty up there. Look up revelations 17, talks about the antichrist's religion being that of the great whore and "the city on the seven mountains drunken with the blood of saints and martyrs of Jesus." That's Rome-The Vatican. Most Catholics are good moral people, but the papacy in Rome is rotten and wicked.

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89, I looked up the bible verse, and didn't find the word catholic or Vatican...you just added those words to match your interpretation of the bible.... your judgemental attitude prevents you from seeing the true Gospel....

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89 --Rev. 17 is speaking about a city, not a church.

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89 The whore of babylon is not the catholic church. During the time of John, the Babylon that was always referred was either the major pagan roman empire or the apostate jerusalem. It is well known that the early Church Fathers referred to pagan Rome as "Babylon"; however, there are also indications in Revelation that the Whore might be apostate Jerusalem. Historically, a number of commentators, both Protestant and Catholic, have adopted this interpretation.

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89 Fundamentalists argue that these seven mountains must be the seven hills of ancient Rome. However the Greek word here, horos, is almost always translated "mountain" in Scripture. Mountains are often symbols of kingdoms in Scripture (cf. Ps. 68:15; Dan. 2:35; Obad. 8–21; Amos 4:1, 6:1), which might be why the seven heads also symbolize seven kings. The mountains could stand for a series of seven kings, five of whom have already fallen.

  • @bjcasper Still doesn't account for idol worship, the inquisition, and persecution of fundamentalists in the middle ages.

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89 --there were no fundamentalist in the middle ages; fundamentalism came about in the late 1800s as a reaction against the new liberal teachings of higher criticism. The very first fundamentalist were very conservative methodist, lutherans, etc.

  • @GraveyardGhost559 From 1208-1226, Abligensian christians were almost entirely wiped out of southern France. Basically what I meant was anyone who didn't believe in the Catholic Church's version of christianity was killed. The very first christians, who lived either within or shortly after christ's life on earth, were fundamentalists.

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89 Where you can find any teachings about idol worships? Why there is inquisition before? Is it because of heresy? Remember that the Catholic never allowed heresy that are being done in the history, like arianism (who claims that Jesus in not God) and now fundamentalists (who claims sola fide and sola scriptura is dogma)

  • @TRUTH4CHRIST89 ---We worship God but show honor to him by treating statues (of Jesus) in a respectable way; A statue is an idol ONLY when you believe it itself is divine, just as the Isrealites began to divinize Nehushtin, the bronze snake.

  • @WayOfTheMaster454

Amen Amen I say to you! :)

  • WT* is this? Throw those glass cups away and bring those gold-plated chalices back!

  • the catholic church is traying to gain back people , so there are traying to use the bible again ,, to late

  • @albusai the Church has many converts every year. We use the bible the right way....Your little gossip here was used only to create anger.....We are here sharing our faith.

  • Why does the Council of Trent specifiy that if anyone says that if anyone receives John the Baptist's initiation rite (Holy Spirit who is coming - Spiritus Sanctus) instead of Christ's baptism in the Holy Ghost, who is (Spiritum Sanctum), they are anathematized? John the Baptist, according to the Masonic Bible, is the patron "saint" of freemasonry. The Church has been in Auto-anathamatization mode since Pius XII reversed the Sacramental Rite in 1944: Mark of the Beast. FATIMAMOVEMENT dt c o m..

  • @fatimamovement sounds like you've been watching too much TV....From the source of your "bible study" it says " The baptism of John in the Holy Spirit is a curse...." If you really believe all that crap youv'e been reading, then you should be worried, about the state of your soul.....Try doing some real research, and bible study. You are in my prayers....

  • I WILL NEVER BOW DOWN IN FRONT OF A WORK OF MAN. KAHIT IHARAP NIO SAKIN SI SANTINO.

  • @alangname I bet you watch TV a lot.....

  • catholicabusesurvivorsni-----------berean beacon former catholic priest explains the mass

  • @SuperSurvivor777 berean beacon is not a Catholic, and has broken away from his beliefs, and now believes in bashing the Church....How sad, and why would anyone believe or listen to his gossip?

  • As a convert to Catholicism from Protestantism (last year) I'm happy to say that the Church is everything I've always longed for and more!!

  • catholic church is the bestttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • @lookrorobaby Again, the worship of church and no mention of Jesussssssssssss. That congregation did not save you and those stained glass windows and wooden carvings do not regenerate you. You are saved by Christ alone and not men. Men who put on robes do not become like Jesus, I could put a robe on a pig and he'd still be a pig. Open your bible and Read Ephesians for the first time and it could change your life

  • @JesusNonEnviromental educate yourself....we worship Jesus.

  • @stevesilvia Your Jesus didnt save you, I know what your doctrine teaches and its not salvation by the blood of Jesus. Your CC teaches that the Mass forgives your sins and that infant baptism put you into the church. It also teaches that purgatory is the destination of all catholics until they work out their salvation with good works. How a person does good works in Hell is beyond me but maybe you are suppose to stock the fire and increase your suffering. I don't know, its your doctrine

  • @JesusNonEnviromental It is obvious you know nothing about the Truth and the doctrine of the Catholic Church. Ignorance must be bliss. The RCC DOES teach that our salvation is by the Blood of Christ, so you're wrong there. The CC also does NOT teach that ALL sins are forgiven at mass - only 'sins that are not deadly' (1 John 5:16-17) - deadly sins must be confessed (John 20:23). Also, purgatory is NOT Hell, but a cleansing: 1 COR 3:13-15

  • @JesusNonEnviromental The ONLY PLACE in the bible where "Faith alone" appears TOGETHER is: James 2:24 "You see that a man is justified by works and NOT by faith alone." Also, it is written 1 COR 13:13 "But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE." not FAITH! Love one another as I have loved you. Yes our faith in Jesus as our saviour saves us, I completely agree. However, HOW did you prove that faith? Did you Love? THAT is the works

  • @PublicChristianity99 Thank you, from a catholic that was a rather mild and controlled attack actually, but Im positve after a few more years in that abyss you shall learn to curse and attack with much more fervor

  • @JesusNonEnviromental if you understood the Mass, you would see it is 100% biblical, and worshiping Jesus. In fact history shows that the Mass is the way the first Christians gathered and worshipped Jesus. Read your history books.

  • @stevesilvia There is no Mass, I know of a Massachusetts, but no Mass. Maybe you're referring to the Massacre of a Fictional Jesus whose blood must be sacrificed every Saturday and Sunday by a sect called the Catholics for the sins of its followers. My Lord Jesus shed His blood once for Sin and those who come to him in faith eat his body and those that believe He is the Son of God drink his blood. The early Christians offered up a sacrifice of praise with their lips not a wafer

  • @stevesilvia You obviously have read too many books written by men, I only trust one book and that is the bible which is infallible. You can have the writings of Eusebius and Ignatius to prove your beliefs and I will keep reading the Pauline epistles and the Gospels

  • @JesusNonEnviromental You read the bible? Then you're reading a book written by men. Men inspired by God through the Holy Spirit, but men non-the-less. Also, it wasn't around until 396AD - what, then, did the Early Christians rely on? That's right, Ignatius and others. BTW - if you DO read the bible, you are doing so under the authority of the Catholic Church, for they're the ones who created it and detirmined what books belong in the New Testemant.

  • @stevesilvia Those who remain Catholic after this murderous sect's history has been recorded for all to read are either ignorant of its apostacy and murder of the innocent or they are in denial of the atrocities recorded of their Popes and his followers to gain religious supremacy or they too are of the spirit of Anti-Christ and will condone anything the Pope decrees against the true believers. The coming wars on the horizon will again present opportunities for this wicked sect to murder

  • @JesusNonEnviromental I'm tired of listening to you....you go and wait for your so call future wars.... we will continue, as we have for 2000 years, following Jesus and all that he taught us in the bible. Sorry you can't see that, too blinded by the lies taught to you.

  • @stevesilvia Stay strong, brother. Remember those quoting from scripture are quoting from a book that doesn't belong to them. The RCC cannoned the bible and it was men of that church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that decided what books belong and don't in the New Testemant. It was Luther and other men who decided to take out books from the Old as proven recently in the translations of the Dead Sea scrolls. I'll be praying for you!

  • @JesusNonEnviromental As I said before, ignorance must be bliss. The wickedness of satan has you caught in his web. "Love your neighbor as yourself" and yet you spew things about which you don't know. I suggest you pray, my friend. If you truly love as Jesus commanded, then you shouldn't be spouting hateful words, but you should be praying out of love for those who you feel are 'wrong'. Know that I will be praying for you.

  • @JesusNonEnviromental I haven't back tracked, but as a RC I do NOT worship a Church. I worship Jesus Christ IN the Church, but not a Church. Also, you should learn what the stained glass windows and statues are truly about. They are NOT worshipped...do you have pictures of your family in your wallet? Why? Do you worship them? No, they are there to help you think of your family, just as statues/stain glass windows help us focus on Jesus Christ.

  • @JesusNonEnviromental The men, Priests, who put on 'robes' as you call them, are doing the exact same things that the early Christians did! The ones who didn't HAVE a bible until the Catholic Church under the direction of Constantine created one book. You say "read the bible" and I do...I read the one that the CC cannoned in 396 AD, one that YOU follow today every time you read the New Testemant. YOU DO listen to CC authority when you read the NT, you know that, right?

  • and man made. which would explain why god answers prayers 50% of the time and why he messed up so bad when he made everything. i mean if god knows everything why is so much shit, not counting humans, imperfect?

  • @dabigq This god they talk about is also known as zeus, dagon (the fish god), ra, and the sun god of other cultures. They're all the same thing, mythical.

  • @Brimoth the church has you right where they want you. They want you to NOT use your minds. Just do what they say, not as they do. You say that you annoy us, yes you do. You christians shove this stuff down our throats and expect us to swallow. I will bet you that NONE of you have even tried to research, from the other side, where you god came from. No, you just take what mom and dad fed you during your impressionable years.

  • @cedwards600 - "you just take what mom and dad fed you during your impressionable years." -

Not always the case. This is a common claim I hear from atheists who haven't properly done their homework.

There have been many converts the the Catholic Church. Some of them being formerly violent anti-papist Christians, and others being athiests.

Did you know Oscar Wilde converted to the Catholic Church? Apparently, he secretly admired the Church for years, before conveting on his deathbed.

  • This is heretical to the true word of Zeus!

  • And we are not lowly sinners!

  • For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts.

    Malachi 1: 11

  • #erintsh90 God is forgiving!?! What about destroying sodom and gamora (excuse the spelling). god destroyed everyone, even the innocent children. or what about all the first born in egypt.

  • @cedwards600 Why waste time spreading heresy? It does you no good. It does not benefit you at all. If you are trying to get rid of those you so call "ridiculous brainwashed people" into stop believing. News Flash: We will NEVER give up our Catholic faith.

I say this because it seems like we "annoy" you. Well I'm sorry if you find us annoying. We are just here to spread the Truth, trying to save as much souls as we can. If you still don't believe, I'll just shake the dust off my feet.

  • How can you follow a belief system where you are convicted of THOUGHT CRIME!!! How absurd!!

  • @cedwards600 It's not the thought, it's the dwelling on thought. Ifyou meditate on a thought and allow it to consume you, then it becomes a sin.

  • many different religions and myths speak of a man how performed miracles, had 12 disciples, born of a virgin, died and in 3 days resurected! You've all been following a lie. Religion is simply a control system. You spes

  • whatever religious teachings you go by, they all have one major flaw, they're man made. do you realize that the mythical figure call jesus was spoken of (including his life, miracles, death and resurection) hundreds of years before he was born. Just look up Horus, for example.

  • One word... brainwashing. You have all been spoon fed this since before you could form your own opinions. The truth is we are infinite consciousness which is only experiencing this life. We are infinite possibility and religion has robbed us of that fact. To think you all have people telling you that you're a LOWLY sinner who has no power and can do NOTHING without God, rediculous!!

  • @cedwards600 Thats just a fantasy of your adoption from the eastern religions. Nothing you think is of your invention, but of those eastern cults. Your view of christian teaching is deeply skewed. We only refer to ourselves as lowely sinners in comparison to the Jesus Christ. The One True God. Comparing any finite to an infinite is to be aware of the incredible limitaiton of the finite. This is just reality, nothing more.

  • @cedwards600 actually, that's not the Catholic teaching, that's more on the lines of Calvinists, who believe in predestination, which means God decides before you're born if you're going to heaven or hell. Catholics believe we have free will. In other words, we can do whatever the fuck we want, but we are morally responsible for those actions. If we could do nothing without God, there would be no sin because everything we do would be of God. But we sin due to that free will, but God is forgiving

  • In the days when the Roman Catholic Church ruled

England—he who desired to obtain forgiveness of

his sins—had to seek it through a jungle of . . . priests, saints, Mary-worship, masses, penances, confessions, absolution, and the like!

  • here is not a word anywhere in Scripture about

any renewed and repeated sacrifice by Christ. The

Romanists tell us that they continue to present

the sacrifice of Christ in the unbloody sacrifice of

the mass. But this is a mere invention of their

priests! Away, you sons of Antichrist!

  • @kidcalifornia009 You are just regurgitating the misconstrued arguments of many protestants. Eating the bread at mass is not killing Jesus again. He died for us once, but like he said, we must all eat of his flesh and drink of his blood. The eucharist is the means of distributing his flesh and blood amongst believers wishing to be saved. Without wishing to be rude, you simply haven't heard the true message of the Catholic Church and so make ignorant statement such as this.

  • @squashpianoman when you turn the wine into real blood and the bread in to real flesh (body) your sacrificing. sure not the beloved Lord we know. away with your vatican altars! most roman catholics have no idea what transubstantial is.

  • @kidcalifornia009 You are right. It is a sacrifice, but its one that extends across time so that we may all have to opportunity to partake in it. Have you asked most Roman Catholics if they know what transubstantiation is? I bet not, in which case in which case your comment can be relegated to that of mere opinion.

Why did Jesus say that we must eat his flesh and drink his blood, more than once? This was not metaphorical as he says "Truely I say unto you..."

We Catholics believe no more no less than as Saint Paul did

"The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread." (1Cor 10:16)

It is not us, but Jesus who continues "multiplying" the bread that gives life and Salvation.

    "DO THIS" (Luke 22:19)

    Acts 2:42

    Acts 20:7

    Acts20:11

  • I must say that it is truly insanity for people to live in sin and never confess their sins. People argue argue argue over certain things ... but they ignore John Chp. 6 and call Jesus Christ a LIAR by refuting what the one they say they Love actually said. He said that you must eat him and drink his blood or you have no life in you. People prefer to live in incest, lust, and every other Sin. Let us face the Truth .. hardly ANYONE loves God .. that Jesus guy said, " Few Are Saved."

  • @PerfectCharity Your church teaches you a cannibalistic interpretation of what Jesus meant when He said "eat my flesh":

    .

Leviticus 26:29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

    .

Does this also mean they literally ate the flesh of their sons and daughters? No.

    .

We get to heaven by believing that Christ is the Son of God, who died for our sins - our belief on Him doing exactly that counts for righteousness.

  • Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

    .

John 3:14-16 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    I believe Charity is right.

This is a senseless debate and I think it would be better to end it rather than make a mockery of Christ.

  • @ForumLight

    Amen to that !

  • @ForumLight What did people think when jesus said he was a door, a vine, a gate ? they did not leave him then. you can keep posting me back if you wish, but, I have been in these conversations with people before than reject God and neither of us will accomplish anything. I probably will not respond to you, but I may read whatever you choose to write. bye

  • @ForumLight

We get to heaven by doing the will of God, which includes such Faith, we agree. Our faith in receiving Christ in the form of bread and wine, comes from Jesus Himself who said "DO THIS in memory of me". It goes way beyond seeing flesh and blood. It is remembering how his death and resurrection saves us. It is receiving Christ Himself to fill our spirit and our senses. It is reaching out and touching Him with the faith of the woman who just touched His garments. (Mk 5:25)

  • Receiving Christ in the Eucharist with Faith in His presence, is welcoming Him to our hearts answering to His call:

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he WITH ME."

Blessed be the Lord for leaving us such a perpetual sign!

  • Rev 3:20

  • @jorgediego Out of curiosity, what was the tree of life in genisis?

  • @squashpianoman

Eating from the tree of "Knowledge of Good and Evil" is shown to mean the choice to judge by ourselves without God.

Reaching for the Tree of Life is also an interior ability that could be accessed by man and enabled him to "live forever" (Gen 3:22)

The tree of life seems to be the power of Faith that God originally had given to humanity, but took away for its own sake.

Our access to eternal life has been restored by the true Faith, gained for us by our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Yes the holy mass is indeed Biblical.

  • @karpov89 Right on :)

  • @karpov89 Oddly enough, it's more accurate to say that the Bible is indeed Eucharistic since the Bible is at the service of Christian worship, having it's very being in that context, as opposed to instigating or generating the Mass. Protestants fail to consider from whence their sacred books came. If they want to know, they should look to the Catholic Mass for answers.

  • @BandofSorensons You are right; though I would say both statements are true. The eucharist is indeed the Christian faith in concentrate.

  • @karpov89 Word!

  • 2nd commandment: You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or worship them...

    catholicism ABSOLUTELY disobey it.

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • PEACE TO ALL!!!

  • Of course people are free to believe what they wish, but Catholics think they are worshipping the God of the Bible. When we actually read the Bible, however, we see the Catholic doctrines are false and misleading innocent people away from the real truth of God. =(

  • They have a mass claiming that Mary was also conceived immaculately, just like Jesus was.

    From wikipedia:

"The Immaculate Conception is, according to Roman Catholic doctrine, the conception of the Virgin Mary without any stain ("immacula" in Latin) of original sin."

But Luke 1:46-48 falsifies that blasphemous claim that Mary was immaculately conceived. And they have an entire mass to worship Mary's immaculate conception. =(

  • @ForumLight, in Luke 1:46-48, Mary says God is her Saviour. She never said God was her Redeemer, which is a big difference. We believe Mary needed a Saviour, in order to be born without the stain of original sin. Also Mary says in the Scriptures "All generations will call me blessed", yet you belittle the meaning to fit your inability to hold the fact that for her to carry the Son of God within her was indeed a great and special event, and that she was chosen by God, in the book of Genesis.

  • @stevesilvia

You didn't address the fact that there's a Catholic mass to worship Mary being immaculately conceived, just like Jesus was. You seem to agree she was not born without original sin like Jesus was - but then why is there a Catholic mass worshipping Mary's immaculate conception when you just admitted she's not immaculately conceived?

  • @ForumLight I answered your question, you just can't read. WE DON'T WORSHIP MARY. Get over it, ok?

  • @stevesilvia It's great if you don't. Doesn't explain why they have a mass devoted to Mary to celebrate her "immaculate conception" - i.e., that she was conceived without sin just like Jesus was.

  • @ForumLight

I am afraid you have a strange notion of what the Catholic Mass is, but that is better answered elsewhere. Catholics believe that we ought not worship Mary but -venerate- her in the same way (if not, more) that we would show honor to a great figure in history. Mary was chosen by God to be "blessed", to carry Christ and be his Earthly mother. Her yes was more than an answer, she gave herself to God and what could possibly mean death for her. We should strive to have Mary's faith.

  • @aaronmwillms That they have masses to praise Mary, that they say "pray for us sinners" to Mary, that they have a "hail mary" prayer, all shows they pray to Mary. Praying is a form of worship, and CC teaches followers (unwittingly perhaps) to pray to others besides God at times. The only thing more amazing than that blasphemy is that people actually do it.

  • @ForumLight

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you (Lk 1:28)

Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb (Lk 1:42)

Jesus (the fruit of her womb)

Holy Mary (Remember, Mary is full of grace)

Mother of God (The Whole Fruit of the Womb thing)

Pray for us (We will get into this in the next post)

    Sinners (that'd be us)

Now and at the hour of our death (When we would like the prayers)

^ The Hail Mary - Also, remember who it was who greeted Mary in such a way in scripture.

  • @aaronmwillms Great Post. But, we also must remember that if a person looks at Christianity objectively and honestly, they will know the Catholic Church, despite its lineage and history of much sin and preversion, that it is the True Church. St. Malachy's prophecies and the propheciies given by mary at fatima and the apparation at Lourdes prove that Immaculate Conception and Malachy's prophecies may say the last pope will aid the anti-christ in the last days. Protestants are Very Wrong

  • Is also spiritually UPlifting to know that in expressing our love truly to Mary, we fulfill the scriptures in at least two ways:

We join God Himself in praising Mary. When Elizabeth uttered the words "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb" she said it "FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT" who is GOD!

We also fulfill a scriptural prophecy, for Mary said "behold, from now on ALL ages will call me BLESSED" (Lk 1:48)

Praising Mary pleases God and fills us of His Holy Spirit!

  • @aaronmwillms Mary is the mother of the Son of God - Jesus. Mary is not the mother of God.

  • @aaronmwillms Mary is dead and awaiting the return of Jesus Christ. She cannot pray or interceed for anyone.

  • @MSA6001, we give Mary the title of "mother of God" in respect that we believe Jesus is God (the Son). Not because we believe Mary gave birth to God who has no beginning or end. Remember, this title was started by the first Christians who gave Mary this title (it's in the history books).

  • @MSA6001

    Mary is not dead.

"And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall NEVER die" John 11:26

Mary belongs to the body of Christ who is the head. Colossians 1:18

To love the body is to love Christ.

We love Mary and she loves us.

You have no evidence that she can not pray.

There is mountains of evidence of the good done by Mary in the world. because she belongs to Christ. She always gives Christ to the world, and takes the world to Christ.

  • @jorgediego Take a look at the early writings... Polycarp, Tertullian, Cyril of Jerusalem, and many others, who professed their honorring of our Mother Mary. I have videos, which show the beauty of the Roman Catholic Church. May God bless each and everyone of you.

  • @ForumLight Nothing strange praying to Mary, that does also Lutherans, Anglicans and Orthodox.

  • @karpov89 The number of people blapsheming against God does not make it no longer blaspheming against God.

  • @stevesilvia

Also why do Catholics pray to dead saints? Are those saints omnipresent like God and can hear their prayers at all times anywhere in the world like God can? And how is it the Catholic church gets to decide who it is that will be saints that are omniscient that Catholics can then pray to alongside of praying to God?

  • @ForumLight, now thats a good question. In the bible it explains that there are different kinds of prayer. Lets start there, look it up, or google it, whatever you want, then come back and we can talk.

  • @stevesilvia Hello. Please point out scripture that says we are to

    [1] pray to dead saints

[2] those dead saints are omnipresent and can thus hear all those prayers all over the world

  • @ForumLight Catholics don't pray to dead saints....don't you read the Gospel? Jesus promises those you love him will never die but be with him forever. He promises his Father's house has many rooms and prepares a place for us. Those who truly die are the ones who are denied heaven and separated from God forever...they are not the saints. We ask the saints to take our prayers to Jesus. Yes, we pray directly to Jesus, but sure helps to have friends in high places.

  • @Catholicdadof4 They most certainly do pray to potential saints that are potentially in heaven. "Saint so-and-so, pray for us" ends many of their prayers. "pray for us sinners" they pray to Mary all the time. And even to "ask the saints to take prayers" is to imply they are omnipresent. They are not.

And of course the church itself decides who it is that can be called Saints that the congregation can now start praying to.

There is only one mediator, and that is Christ Jesus.

  • @ForumLight Amen! There is only one mediator, Jesus Christ.Could it be that you do not understand or truly know what Catholics believe?Next, doesthe Bi ble make the claim it is the ONLY authority? If so, where do we find the verse?if it is true, what about all the oral teachings of St. Paul that were not written down? Are those not important too? What were early Christians doing before the the 4th centurty when the Catholic Church through the Holy Spirit determined which books are divinely inspired?

  • @Catholicdadof4 Hello. What they believe is evident in the masses they perform.

They believe they have to sacrifice Jesus on the cross every mass.

They believe saints are omnipresent as they pray to them all the time.

They believe Mary was conceived by the holy spirit as well as they have an immaculate conception mass, celebrating it.

They believe the preacher supernaturally turns the wafers and wine literally into the body and blood of Christ.

    All unbiblical.

  • So you believe the Bible is not the only authority? That other books that lead you to not obey the Bible make it ok? =(

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

    Deuteronomy 4:2

What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

    Deuteronomy 12:32

  • @ForumLight Re: So you believe the Bible is not the only authority?

A better question is why do you believe that the bible is the only Authority?

The bible tells us that not everything Jesus said is in the bible. It also tells us to hold fast to the traditions taught to us.

Paul says that much Christian teaching is to be found in the tradition which is handed down by word of mouth (2 Tim. 2:2).

  • @ebolingUtube Hello. So in other words you're fine with others making up more writings that contradict God's Word, and claiming that's God's Word as well? The writings have already been put together that make up the inspired Word of God. When a church tries to claim there are more writings that flat out CONTADICT what the Bible teaches no less, it's clearly not God's Word.

  • @ForumLight Re:So in other words you're fine with others making up more writings that contradict God's Word

Absolutely not, that is why I have a problem with many Protestants, especially those like Oprah.

I have a real problem with religions and some Christians that add books to the bible. The Mormons are the only proclaimed Christians I am aware that claim there more books. There are other denominations that removed books to suit their own believes but neither are Catholic.

  • @ebolingUtube Hello. Then we agree: the Bible is the Word of God - no other books to be added to it.

  • For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

    Revelation 22:18

Even if people tried to add more words and claimed it's also the Word of God, the fact that it contradicts what's written in the Bible proves it's clearly not God's Word.

  • @ForumLight Re:For I testify unto every man

    Amen!
