It's a very interesting performance. I wouldn't say he's focusing much on the Chopin essence, though... what is he focusing on ? I guess the musical idea of the moment - very spontaneous rendition.

ur right, he's turned this charming waltz into a virtuoso stunt, not sounding very chopinesque, but highly energetic and yes, entertaining
