The problem with boosting HP on such a POS vehicle is the MOPAR T85 automatic Transmission, it's is the very thing that makes all those mini van's POS's. It can't handle the weight of the van and they require frequent rebuilding. They were designed to handle transmission of power on the K-Car series not on a car that became the size of a truck which is what a mini van is.

I have `96 2.4 DOHC chrysler voyager with 5 speed manual trans and I am looking forward to wake up the sleeper (not that much as you did :)) but I have limited possibilities in my country mostly because of poor information they have here about how to do it.
