This show's great! Too bad it did not survive. Will and Grace could not hold a candle to this show. Plus this is a cute gay show. Will and Grace was about Will and Grace (more Grace than Will though, especially any romance part) - may as well have been a straight couple.
@mimeNo9 The standard order for a new show is usually 13 episodes, but sometimes with midseason shows like this they only order 7. The network didn't seem to have any faith whatsoever in the show, they jerked it around endlessly, continuously retitled it right up until air time, and it ultimately became a scapegoat to get Bette Midler's sitcom canceled after she publicly denounced her own series. Adding insult to injury, two episodes went unaired. Hilarious show, heartbreaking story.
@mimeNo9 Yeah, I assume the Bette photo was meant to be a wink to her show, which was supposed to be the breakout hit of the year -- but it very definitely wasn't.
I was heartbroken that this and Bateman's follow-up, "Jake in Progress" (which was canceled without being aired) were prematurely yanked, but now I look at it like this: if either series had survived, "Arrested Development" would have been a very different show.
This was a VERY underrated show. Surely it could have lasted just a LITTLE bit longer.

I totally agree Jason Bateman does make everything better.
BTW thank you for uploading the episodes! It's a shame there are only 7 of them.

@VinnieRattolle
Interesting. Bette Midler-- funny how there's an autographed photo of her in Warren's living room.
I think this show was better than Will & Grace. Jason Bateman just makes everything better. I've enjoyed nearly all of his TV shows.
