  • huh... just sounds beter in japanese... i mean the lyrics.... thats the funny thing about language. beautiful in one language crapy in another when u literally translate. good work on the video tho. props.

  • this is a piece of crap

not like the better one from FMA!

  • Your mic could be replaced, but your vocals and lyrics are excellent! In a community of mostly all girl dubbers, it's refreshing to hear a boy singing! ^_^

  • Pretty good translation. Could you please make a re-do of this....with a better mic and mixer. Jeez christ, it's as if I'm listening from a Karaoke bar.

  • awesome man. very good vocals. wish we could meet i want to make a j rock j pop cover band doing concerts for anime cons

  • ive listened to three or four different fandubs... they were horrible..you on the othe hand are quite bearable compared to the original, i likes it

  • Great singing but you might wanna make the back ground music a bit louder next time. I was usuing headphones and sometime during the beginning I lost hearing for a minute. But seriously good singing how about you translate FMA opening "rewrite"

  • dang... loved how you translated the song but the music quality is not that good....

  • wow

  • 2 things...

    A better pop filter

    And a mixer

Other than that this is pretty damn good

  • @TheIrishHammer6969 Haha. For sure! This was done with a crappy microphone, no pop filter, and no mixer. But now that I have all of those things, I'm thinking about redoing it!

  • @ParticleMechanism you really should, im sure it would sound many times better

  • this is one awesome lyrics you have

  • THIS IS EPIC! O.O

  • WHOA!!! O_o" AWESOME!!

  • very good

  • translate shooting star naruto or nakzi satilite naruto

  • i love this ^^ it sounds good and your voice is really good for this choice of a song :D

  • hhahahaa this was funny, nice singing though

  • Awesome! I like freestyle translations and I think you did a fantastic job there.

  • Please put this on 4shared so i can download it ._.

  • Nice job on the translation, but the sylables dont fit that well.

  • They never do. It's just a hardship of another language I suppose. >_>

  • They can, but it's very difficult. It goes into interpretation alot - No matter the language there is always away to say what you mean. Figuring out how, vice just going word for word is what seperates the good from the great. IMO anyway.

  • @turtleshell56 It is. Japanese has significantly more syllables than English. That's the hardest part.

  • @shyngo The syllables fit about as well as they can while still rhyming and retaining the original purpose behind the lines. Many of the translations I've seen of this song, as well as Japanese songs in general, try too hard to be a word for word translation and as a result, rarely rhyme or even make sense. It's not perfect, but it is probably one of the best translations I've heard of this song... but maybe I'm biased. ^_^

I do appreciate your criticism, though, and thank you for watching!

  • Anytime. I enjoyed your version, nonetheless. It's always good to see another artist's interpretation of a concept.

Could you one day have a look at my version?

  • wow pretty good, I've been wondering what the song says in english for awhile now. You should deffinitly do some more, I'll send you a message if I can think of a good one.

  • Hey wat language is the original song?

  • err, japanese?

  • japenese

  • pls do a redo. hehe. with a nice mic.

  • Will do! Thanks for listening!

  • Awesome! You should do some more translations! Have you ever thought of fandubbing?
