Sure, they risk social censure, as opposed to outright censorship, but it was always that way for anyone who dared to say anything that was unpopular, regardless of the era. Anyway, this was not a skit about being politically incorrect. It was poking fun at that treacly Stevie Wonder/Paul McCartney duet and Sinatra's image as a guy out of step with the times.
