im going back to Disneyland in Paris hopefully in october then again at xmas and ib already been 7 times its my favorite holiday resort i cant get enough of the place dosent matter if its snowing or raining i dont care as long as im in that park im happy cant wait to see Rapunzel and my old favoriteCinderella once met the same Cinderella twice at easter and xmas 2 years ago she was like wow back again and laughed
how do they stay cool in thoses costumes for all of them like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, the princesses and the princes..they much be very hot just wearing them
@btw25.... I worked as a character in 2002-2003 sometimes they do have you wear audio pieces under the costumes i did it 4 times i don't know about now...
@Serenity3325 Yeah, it doesn't happen. It's a huge safety issue not to be able to hear anyone talk to you, or have something electric in your ear while you are in costume. There are already too many dangerous things about being a performer... earpieces don't need to be added to the mix. Performers might wear earplugs if they so choose, like if they have to be right next to a speaker. But no earpieces to hear the audio from a show that they are performing.
@freacls Aww. little words coming from a little man.... I sent you a message in your box... Watch what you say to people... Don't hate because you too ugly to work for the Disney Company...
i wanna work SO bad in these shows. <3 <3 <3 do they still do this show? im going in december. aurora's dress is AMAZING. ill start crying when she sings.
they should have fantasmic use mickey's mechanical head because in california the updated fantasmic so now its better and with using this new head theyre able to make it even cooler
Hi everyone, I was thinking of starting a new channel that had the sole purpose of informing Disney lovers, such as myself, about all of the rides, attractions, hotels and so on. The videos will consist of info such as what it does, who would enjoy it, etc... If you thinks that this is a good idea and would like for me to go through with this idea just send me a message or reply to this comment. Thanks!
Actually, there is such a channel. It's called "Must Do Disney". You can see it when you are in the area. It tells you the most famous rides, and tells you easier ways to have fun in the parks. It even covers Downtown Disney and all the other minor parks too.
@UNRSD Oh I didn't know that was the channels name btu my youtube channel would be for those planning their vacation and look at all the attractions not just the most popular ones
I saw this the last time I went to Disney World. Ironically, this was probably the last time I heard Wayne Allwine's voice before he died a few months after the trip. :(
i love this :) did u guys notice though that its cinderella's castle o-o so im guessing out of all the princesses shes the most known and special one :)
@ToriandAlison Yes, the heads are mechanical. It's all in the hands of the costumes. One hand controls the eyes, and the other hand controls the mouth. If you watch their hands carefully, every once in a while they'll close and open their fingers randomly. An amazing mechanism, you don't notice it unless you look for it.
this show is the same of the Tokyo disneyland 20th anniversary all the music is the same but in other language in my opinion Mickey´s gift the dreams is so much better than Dream along with Mickey
@CeletialDarkness If you notice closely, their fingers operate their head. One hand does the mouth (I think the right one) and the other, the eyes. A finger (or more than one) has a censor that runs up the arm and into the head. Usually, Mickey has his hand behind his back so its not so obvious. But once in a while, you can catch them
for the big costumes like mickey, minnie, donald, goofy they can wear earpieces because in those costumes it is sometimes hard to hear the music. i had to wear an earpiece because the sound guy wanted me to hear the audio better.
@20791984 Actually, character performers really don't need earpieces. Because of how limited your sense of vision is in the costumes, the rest of your senses become MUCH stronger, so your sense of hearing, believe it or not, is probably going to be better than if you weren't wearing the costume.
@20791984 hey dude with the characters having their eyes blink and mouths moving did you have to move your mouths the same time as wehn the character speaks and blink your eyes the same time as the character does too. is it uncomfortable with the headpiece on.
During the show when i was doing it for the first time as a performer i had a hard time hearing the music through the costume so i wore a earpiece to hear the audio.
this show is exactly the same but at anytime the pyro can be stopped if there is an actor to close. the lift is also on a sensor and if there is a problem it will freeze at the bottom. the controls for the show are ontop of the building to the right of you looking at the stage.
I had the misfortune of opening a door behind the stage when It was shooting of some of the castle show fireworks. I was climbing up the castle steps to go to the BBB and when I opened that door I heard 'DREAMS COME-BOOM!-" It took me 2 min to get up there and I ran halfway back down in 45 seconds
Yes usually you do not want to go up stairs during this show because unless you have the time sheet for the pyrotechnics you will be shocked when they fire.
if you are ever in magic kingdom this is a must see! i went for school and me and my friends loved it! We live in Illinois so we don't have chances to do things like this and we have been singing this song forever!
@AllisonMarieChan That's the future of theme and amusement parks! Articulate heds that move and blink to make the characters more real. It also saves people the trails and tribulations of using expensive makeup all the time.
The music is the same.. however the whole actual show is way different.. even the choreography... and even some of the lyrics.. haha.. but yeah Disney World almost never gets things that aren't recycled to some capacity... howeverrrr.. this show did get something that Japan didn't have... and thats Articulated heads! :D UPGRADEE!! :D haha
I saw this and filmed on my ipod!! Now i can watch it all of the time lol at the end Aurora waved and blew a kiss to me!!! :)
