although im only 16 , and just reading the bible sometimes.. and i admit that im more on wordly pleasure than seeking jesus .. but when i listen to this song it reminds me.. that all im doing will not last forever and i know that one of this days jesus return will be soon. and i hope that im with his side when that time comes.. im trying to change my hobbies now .. hopefully jesus will lead me to his path of righteousness.. doesnt the heritage singers know about the rythm of rebellion?! the drums was used in a worldly way. when it came in, it pushes the holyspirit out to work on the words instead of the beat. instead of the holyspirit working its the beat and rythm that moves the flesh when its suppose to be the words. I agree. I was surprised that the Heritage Singers sang this song with the drum beat. People need to listen to Ivor Myers preaching on music/drums. Look it up and listen. You will be amazed.

the song starts off well until the drums came in. the song should not move the flesh but rather to make you think about god. what ive learnt from pastors who preached about music etc they said that the drums should be used in the right way.

dig the song but the whole idea of walking and reuniting with Jesus is ridiculous. How an "intellingent" person can believe these fairy tales is beyond me. Most of the stories in Christianity were borrowed from other (pagan) religions or even farther back to the earliest civilizations in our history. The God/human Jesus narrative was very common in other religions of the time, so was the story of turning water to wine, walking on water, virgin birth, resurrection, etc., etc.,

So you believe in a hereafter yet not in the God of the Bible. In all your wisdom then tell us who believe, how is life beyond the grave possible without the God of the Bible? Can you or will you resurrect yourself? Can you create something from nothing? Can you speak things into existence? Let me just add that Heritage Singers are, as far as I know, Seventh Day Adventists and don't believe in an eternally burning Hell, a demonic dogma with roots as far back as in ancient Babylon, that crept into christianity during the Middle Ages. Careful study of the Bible reveals that this teaching is unbiblical and uncompatible with God's righteousness and fairness. There is either eternal life or eternal death. God bless.

I am a Christian and I too don't believe in eternal burning hell only ETERNAL DEATH. Burning hell is the way how unbelievers would die the ETERNAL DEATH and not eternal burning. How would they have Eternal Death if they keep on burning in hell-- does it mean they are still alive and would be burning in hell-- that's not ETERNAL DEATH! So don't be confused.
We are all born into sin. It has nothing to do with our parents. I don't believe Bible is saying an eternal burning hell, but rather kind of like being in a black hole. Can you imagine an eternity of nothingness? The Bible uses a lot of examples to get the point across such as the man in burning hell asking if he can have even a drop of water.
If only other Christians understood that so they could share it with those who they are witnessing too because many non believers say "How can you say God is loving if He lets you burn forever in hell?" and sometimes Christians cant answer back.

No, according to christianity, you must also repent constantly to avoid hell, you must repent before praying to god, or "he won't hear you". If jesus died for our sins, why do we still need to repent? More importantly, why are there still people going to hell (according to the belief) that don't deserve it??
The Bible clearly states as soon as you accept Christ as your Savior you avoid going to hell. You don't have to ask but once. God is perfect and can not look upon sin, so Jesus had to shed his blood to die for and cover our sins for eternity. Why God didn't make us all perfect, we'll never know until we can get to heaven and ask him. We are all sinners, so is easy to explain you deserve it, if you aren't forgiven in God's eyes by accepting Christ as your Savior and have forgiveness of sins.

actually God does love them and it pains him to send them to hell but its their sinful choice. God does hate Sin but because of Jesus death on the cross our sin was propitiated. Now when God looks at the cross he sees the believer and when he looks at the believer He sees Jesus. Christ righteousness was imputed to us, the active believer. 2 Corinthians 5:21 sums this up for you.

I would never call it abuse. Yes - sometimes faith, or so called religion is abused - the power of it. But that blame is solidly placed on thsoe who think that they're following god's word, when they aren't really

doesnt the heritage singers know about the rythm of rebellion?! the drums was used in a worldly way. when it came in, it pushes the holyspirit out to work on the words instead of the beat. instead of the holyspirit working its the beat and rythm that moves the flesh when its suppose to be the words. I agree. I was surprised that the Heritage Singers sang this song with the drum beat. People need to listen to Ivor Myers preaching on music/drums. Look it up and listen. You will be amazed.
The words in this song are beautiful but the rhythmic beat does move the flesh and thus the beat does take over the song.
The sad thing is that most people are numb to this. By "beholding" we do "become."

dig the song but the whole idea of walking and reuniting with Jesus is ridiculous. How an "intellingent" person can believe these fairy tales is beyond me. Imagine all the people who have and will die walking around with jesus up in the clouds somewhere or in some "heaven" somewhere. All i can say is it would be very crowded and kinda boring.

Most of the stories in Christianity were borrowed from other (pagan) religions or even farther back to the earliest civilizations in our history. The God/human Jesus narrative was very common in other religions of the time, so was the story of turning water to wine, walking on water, virgin birth, resurrection, etc., etc.,

Believe it or not I do believe in a continuation of life after this so called death, because this world could only really exist as a spiritual mental idea, otherwise there would have to be a wall where the world ends and if we think about it that could not be as there would always be something beyond that wall ad infinitum. But I don't need to believe in a mythical (I believe) figure who died for our sins and left us all to burn in hell etc.,Those are childish fantasies.

Has a sign I seen on a Church many years ago said " There are no atheist in hell ". Because they get there they know that GOD is very real as is His SON JESUS. You choose to not believe I choose to believe. I would much rather be wrong on this side of life then in the next. I will pray for you.

Let me just add that Heritage Singers are, as far as I know, Seventh Day Adventists and don't believe in an eternally burning Hell, a demonic dogma with roots as far back as in ancient Babylon, that crept into christianity during the Middle Ages. Careful study of the Bible reveals that this teaching is unbiblical and uncompatible with God's righteousness and fairness. There is either eternal life or eternal death. God bless.

I am a Christian and I too don't believe in eternal burning hell only ETERNAL DEATH. Burning hell is the way how unbelievers would die the ETERNAL DEATH and not eternal burning. How would they have Eternal Death if they keep on burning in hell-- does it mean they are still alive and would be burning in hell-- that's not ETERNAL DEATH! So don't be confused.

We are all born into sin. It has nothing to do with our parents. I don't believe Bible is saying an eternal burning hell, but rather kind of like being in a black hole. Can you imagine an eternity of nothingness? The Bible uses a lot of examples to get the point across such as the man in burning hell asking if he can have even a drop of water.

He did created us to live forever but when our first parents sin man sign their death warrant. yea in a way , we inherited sin from them . just like we inherited everything else from them you cant help which family your born in do you. whichever lost name your dad gave you your it for every. we where born in sin because of our fore parent and there is nothing we can do about that. that's way God sent his son Jesus who wasn't born in sin to save us ,and adopt us into his family . all you have to do is accept Jesus as your savior from sin.

The Bible clearly states as soon as you accept Christ as your Savior you avoid going to hell. You don't have to ask but once. God is perfect and can not look upon sin, so Jesus had to shed his blood to die for and cover our sins for eternity. Why God didn't make us all perfect, we'll never know until we can get to heaven and ask him. We are all sinners, so is easy to explain you deserve it, if you aren't forgiven in God's eyes by accepting Christ as your Savior and have forgiveness of sins.

First of all, if you go to an elementary school, listen to how many times a teacher has to repeat directions before the kids actually understand. Second, God put us on this earth immortal. Sin is what gave a limit to life. Don't blame God for our mistakes. Third, anyone who has children or works with them knows that you want to talk to them all the time, even if you know what they are going to do or say. You WANT to talk to them because you LOVE them. actually God does love them and it pains him to send them to hell but its their sinful choice. God does hate Sin but because of Jesus death on the cross our sin was propitiated. Now when God looks at the cross he sees the believer and when he looks at the believer He sees Jesus. Christ righteousness was imputed to us, the active believer. 2 Corinthians 5:21 sums this up for you.

You can teach children right & wrong, good & bad, without teaching them about god, without teaching them that they'll go to hell if they do wrong, w/o using ancient text, etc. I did not say it is abuse to teach a child right & wrong! Even if you could "feel" that there is a god (I'll humor you), it doesn't mean that there's only 1, or that it is the christian god, nor does it mean that you'll go to hell for rebelling or disbelieving.

Are you kidding me , how are we going to know what is good and what is bad if God dont tell us what is wrong from right. lol ,if God didnt said stealing is wrong how would we know that its wrong to steal are lie etc. if our kids say to us how do you know its wrong to steal we would have to say because the law of the land said so. and they said how did the law of the land know that its wrong to steal then you would have to say the creator of the land who is God said so.

If someone were to tell me that gravity/air has laws that I need to obey or else I'll be condemned to eternal torture, I wouldn't believe them. I don't give gravity a name & worship it. I wouldn't interfere in other people's business where I don't belong because gravity told me. I wouldn't ban gay marriage because gravity said it's wrong & my business.
