not only do I like this album more than the more popular hipster junkie albums, this is my favourite tune off the album (Train Round the Bend and Rock and Roll in a tie for second, and "...Sun" in third). I checked out this number for the first time in eons and it rocked so hard I actually got fucking goosebumps! huh!
@basjelode ok i would usually ignore posts like this because they're usually full of negativity... but of course, since this is a velvet underground song, the listeners are different then most (in a good way). this is the first time i've seen a post praising the people who liked it rather than flaming those who dislike. i like it.
Just beautiful, and thanks to Doug Yule for adding a little extra magic to an already great band to help create one of the greatest Rock'n'roll albums of all time.
Even when the Velvet Underground nearly verge on mainstream music, they still have their genuine aura!
