Another termination for the rattlesnake fob that I have been doing is the 2 strand matthew walker knot. Although, it can be tough to untie, its very stable.
@GearBuyersGuide if you are not aware of the Knot Heads World Wide site, I highly recommend it khww(dot)net. Go to their tutorial section and look for the folder of the late Bud Brewer his work is amazing.
with the rattle snake knot to terminate it u could cut it real close and just melt the ends together. then it would look practically the same on both ends of it
i've seen the tutorials of all the knots that you have here EXCEPT for the ROUNDED version of the square knot. Can you please point me to a video where i can learn how to do the ROUNDED version of the square knot. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
@j2rbkk It's called a round crown sinnet knot. You can find the video how to tie it here on youtube. I too was hoping he would explain how to do it, but a little web surfing found it. It's pretty much the same as the square except you fold the strands at an angle instead of straight across. Hope that helps
THANK YOU so much jody for your reply. Tha'ts my problem..i don't know the exact name of that knot that's why i don't know what to google. But now i kow. Thanks again!
I'm not much of one for intricate knots. But as I listened to what you were saying as to what applications they can be used for, I figure I'll give it a shot. Pretty versatile.
I'll have to go to that guys channel for a how-to.
