lmao!!! this video is super funny!! ... sorry it bite u though. I'm going animal scene for one of my acting classes where we imitate an animal we had a connection with and well i had a connection with a spider monkey when it stuck its tongue out and me and showed me its ass... anyways i'm totally gonna incorperate biting someone!! haha!!
It hurt a little, but it bleed more than it was bad, and no, it didn't make me angry... for very long - I was in his "house" and he's a wild animal. They play by different rules.
I hope the guy is still alive! He is a stupid guy to allow a wild animal bite without capturing the animal and sending it to a lab for rabies and hepatitis testing.
Haha then you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. They are completely docile....but the gorilla and orangutan and the plethora of other primates....not so much.
The monkey is a wild animal and only attacked for defensive reasons. maybe you were looking its his or her eyes which you thought was a special moment but the money would see as a sign of aggression. oh well you live and learn
You can check out my little tale of woe by hitting clogvert dot com
Go to the TRAVEL link on the right hand side and the second article will be something called: "Panama: It was the best of times, it was... well, mostly the worst of times"
The positives far outweigh the negatives, but getting bitten on the face by a monkey is definitely a big negative. Fortunately that kind of thing doesn't happen often - or else I'd change jobs. :)
The video is just a dramatization - the attack was much more rapid, and it happened while I was photographing the monkey - I'm a nature photographer, so getting close to animals is what I do. I agree that picking up a wild animal is "stoopid".
Oh yeah, I had to shove a cucumber in there to stop the bleeding! It was just gushing out - kind of scary to see everyone around you dripping with YOUR blood. It was like Carrie, the movie. Thanks for being concerned! But I still think they're mammals. Do humans have pouches?
OMG lol wow I have had my squirrel monkey for 6 years and have not been bitten like that, I mean she never drew blood. I know it's not the same as one in the wild
she is real loving but has her people she likes and dislikes. We got her as a baby so for anyone who sees this Video don't think the ones you get as babys will be like the ones in the wild cuz there so not. Never play with Any type of wild monkey or anything they will bite.
Did you know that if you pull their tails three times really quickly there is a small sack that is just below their chin that will glow ever so slightly. It is amazing!
It's science baby! And it's going to save us all - they're looking into powering cars with the juice from those little sacks. Don't believe me, look it up on Wikipedia! Science is AMAZING! It's the new black. Everyone will have some. Got to get me some science. Got to get me some science. Before you know it, Apple will knock it off, do it better, and call it iScience. Mark my words: robots will rule us all. And they'll know about science.

Squirrel monkeys don't attack! What did you do to make him hurt you? I work with them so this is how I know. I love the little guys.

i know right! They're sweet little things

Liar. You don't work with squirrel monkeys. They are vicious.
The wimp in the video is stupid to let the monkey do that. I would have strangled it unconscious, then pulled the canine teeth and claws.
