I just realized that the Triplets at 7:20 are all done with the thumb. He is either doing an upstroke with the thumb or (more likely) a sweep down to the next muted string with the thumb. I have to check this out and fix the tutorial.
Ack.. it sounds bad to say but it's a pet peeve of mine.

Hi Zartimus, thanks a lot for the nice tutorial. You have got some teaching skills, right there! What kind of strings do you use? I'm gonna break my thumbs on this one...
@jellederijke Thanks. I use 13-56 Medium Gauge: .013 .017 .026 .035 .045 .056. Usually D'Addario or John Pearse Bronze. That's not my main guitar. I can't use my other one for tutorials because it has a longer scale length and I don't tune it above 1 step below standard.I use the same gauge strings on it.
@Zartimus Nice, I play with .013 as well.. most players don't really like it. Mostly Elixir coated or Ernie Ball Earthwood. I play a Blueridge, looks a bit like a triple O and a Tanglewood. Playing my Gibson LP after practicing this song feels smooth like butter, everything is just so much easier on electric! Do you play electric as well?
Great Tutorial! Your the Best

@jellederijke Yup. I'm primarily an electric player. I like Yngwie and Eric Johnson, Paul Gilbert, Vai, Satch, Eddie....
