  • a great talent rip.

  • What is sad is to know that many of the band or related to it are dead already.

  • Because they were a black group, and the way they dress I was always under the impression they were an american soul group when I was young as there were lots in the 70s,I was pleased to find out later they were a british group and well good too.they were as good as the stylistics etc

  • i know the lead singers oldest son marvin as thing go hes a good geezer

  • good song!!! 70's

  • i love this little boffin

  • Great song - Like most great songs it has stood the test of time - it sounds as good today as it did then. Love to see the guys singing, dancing in time, and wearing tight pants! :-) - (you know, the ones that don't show their bum-cracks and look like they're falling down! Bad look!) Bring back the 70's music and men!

  • Brings back memories :-) of teens .

Sadly at moment I'm a sweet dreamer coz my true love and first love have parted ! You live and learn ! Love hurts no matter what age you are .

  • @bettyboop59able1 I have to totally agree, but what sounds and memories

  • What a beautiful song! I remember it as a child here in Jamaica and only recently learned that most of the guys were Jamaican. I think Marcel's voice is one of the sweetest voices i've every heard. Sometimes in a spare moment i try to google information on him and the band but there's very little details on them online such as other hits, career, etc. God Bless.

  • lovely songggg

  • lovely song lovely voice, such a shame to die so young xx

  • w o w ; over 40(!!) years already I`m in love with this song.... and STILL this great voice sends CHILLS DOWN MY SPINE......O N E of a kind!!!!!

  • just a great tune --- Thanks so much!!

  • what a beautiful song, sad the comment of squiaudio

  • Remember this well, I was 17 at the time and horny!

  • I love music like this. this when it was music. thank you for the post.

  • Leroy was a true gentleman. A brilliant keyboard player/singer/composer and lyricist. A very good friend. So sad that we all lost him too soon.

  • Saudosismo talvez, mas estas músicas fizeram a diferença...

  • Anyone recall seeing these guys at Greenford hall N/W London sometime around 75 ?

  • I was born 1974 when this was number 1

  • Cracker - episode 2 - character sings this song ...brilliant

  • The sixties and seventies was a fantastic time for British music, black and white. This kid could really sing - not sure about the backing singers though. But it doesn't matter, hell they were singing live and dancing which is more than you get today. Not enough live videos of this band, I would love to see more.

  • Britain's answer to the Stylistics or Jackson 5 ................

  • Wat verschrikkelijk. Dat ik dit toen mooi vond zal wel te maken hebben dat ik 12 was ahhhh

  • didnt know he passed away,i remember this music so well

  • r.i.p marcel king and his two sons zeus and fiesel king who passed away in August 2010

  • @louiesoares1 I did'nt know Marcel had another son. I know about Zeus how did Fiesel King died was he ill?

  • naarwala, i'm not aware of too many things, i know what i know if you know what i mean. i';m just saying, i didn't know ok?

  • You don't know alot Randy.

  • andrew, I've never been to england, have you?

  • @randy4147 You shoulda never wrote that.

  • @randy4147 study some history lessons man.

  • He does sound a bit like Michael but I happen to stop in to listen b/c Mike Jackson mentions this song being a fav of his, thinking maybe this song was made with him in mind and wanted to hear what it sound like.

    Sweet song

  • @eluvnmusic076 really? michael liked this song? that's so cool!

  • @eluvnmusic076 It got to about No.14 in the American charts, quite respectable I suppose, no idea how it fared in the R&B charts. Michael Jackson was an unique artist, but he did have a sound that was quite similar to other peoples - check out Foster Sylvers, for instance.

  • Lead singer Marcel King died 10/5/95 from brain hemmorage at age 38, then his son Zues died 2 years later, shot dead from gang warfare in S. Manchester. Founder Leroy Smith died Jan 15, 2009 from bronchoneumonia at age 56. But what a beautiful song for us to treasure forever. So soft, so soulful, so sweet! Thank You Sweet Sensation!!!

  • Gawd i was born in 79' and remember my ma playing this regularly....poor guy died quite young i heard...Some of the best music to come out of Manchester!

  • @jaredini he sounds like mike jackson, how and when did he die.

  • He died in 1995 from medication i believe.

  • @peteboy1113 He died on May 10 1995 from a brain hemorrage. He does sound a bit like Michael Jackson. This is a great song! Well done sweet Sensation.

  • nite sweet dreamer, aint our age catching up eh??xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
