  • AMEN!!

  • The clothes don't make the man one. Two the suburbs have there problems so save that trying to get out the hood garbage. The suburbs have gangs and drug problems my friend. And he is one of the many messengers for the common black person who comes from nothing to make something of themselves. You see one side to a two sided coin one youtube video does not a man make. Learn More about man before you judge the man...

  • @EQUE3001 you want 2 live in the hood, by all means go ahead. abandon building, abandon cars, street bums, street not keep up by city, drug being sold out in public, drug shot up houses, more likely 2 get assaulted, people more likely 2 break in your home or car, more likely police siren going off during night, garbage littering the streets. Cloths do make the man. What do you think potential employers thinking when they drive through hood see men walking around with pants sagging off their ass?

  • @EQUE3001 Black people do move out of the hood when they become financially successful so it is not garbage. Here is something I know about Russell Simmons or as you say, "Learn more about the man..." He is one of those Black people who became financially successful and move out of the hood. But he is keeping it real by wearing casual attire while addressing everyone else who are dress professionally. You can keep the hood. I'm happily go live in the suburbs or rich neighborhoods.

  • I don't care how much money Russell Simmons have. Something about this guy make my spider sense tingle. Everyone is dress professionally and he addresses the audiences in casual attire and curses on stage. What is he trying to do keep street credibility? I'm not impressed one bit. There is a thing call decorum. Most people are trying to make enough money to move out of the intercity. Look at all the successful Black people moving to the suburbs. You can have the ghetto life. I don't want it.
