Great video. I just ordered one of these today. I wanted to start with something that I wouldn't feel like I lost an investment when I crashed it. Yes, I'm not so naive to think I'm not going to auger in a few times. I'm hoping this will give me a good starting point with R/C planes.
Mine wasn't. Mine is all foam and the nose was not reinforced at all and it was hollow. Two crashes the plane was broke into pieces. I had to duct tape together, so I could continue to fly. I'm going to buy material and build a stronger fuselage, once I get comfortable flying it, I'll buy a replacement fuselage.
hey great vid man, i suggest since you probably have a spectrum transmitter wether it be dx6 dx5 or whatever you should put a different reciever in that is better then teh crappy one they supple. i used mine for like 2 weeks at the most and the reciever burner out. just a suggestion
its a liquid you apply to the threads of a screw before putting it on, it dries and locks the threads preventing the screw from loosening up because of vibrations
great job Mark, you will love the planes mate as i started on heli's which i have about 6 now but a good few more planes,i bet you will find it really easy to fly that model of plane compared to your heli's man so good luck mate and look forward to the maiden flight,5*
wow, you got a sponsor now. my friend just recently got me hooked on fixed wing aircraft. at first, i was never really interested in flying anything but heli's, but now my planes outnumber them in my garage. i destroyed my first plane trying to land it, but now that i have the landings down, i'm having more fun with the planes (so much less stress when i just want to kick back and relax). good luck on taking her up. im sure you will get just as addicted as i am. 5 stars man.

I used to get around 5-6mins of flight depending on if I flew at full throttle all the time.
