No. Very few mounts for bullbars are strong enough for that purpose. Instead, use the recovery hook or eye on your vehicle for that. If your vehicle doesn't have a recovery hook or eye, have one properly (again "properly") installed.
It's the same thing just $200 cheaper and doesn't have the Westins on the skid plate. And yes it's also stainless steel. I'm not saying anything bad about Westins I think they make good stuff,just abit ove,r priced for those of us on a budget.

I imagine that the idea is originally from the "cow catcher" on the front of locomotives. As smaller, more modern vehicles were being built, the old technology still shows through today. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!!!
