I went to the 2010 show and picked up some fantastic bargains. Although not as big as the Chatham Dockyard Show, there was still plenty there and it was nice to be able to chat to some of the traders, something you can't always do at busier shows. Steered clear of The Signal Box trade stand because personally I think since they are now owned by Model Zone their prices have gone through the roof. Also saw Jools Holland having a look round for a bargain.
I like to attend this show, always has a few interesting overseas layouts. Handy for public transport ( close to Chatham station ), good selection of traders ( I always seem to spend money there ! ), close to the signal box shop ( for those " must haves " ). Some chairs are available in the corridor for us older folk to take a rest .The catering is excellent, good choice and value, which is more than I can say for a lot of shows.
