  • Oh, and I want to see 50/50 because Joseph-Gordon Levitt is one of my favourites - although I much prefer all his indie, earlyish stuff to what he's doing now (with the exception of 500 Days of Summer which is just BRILLIANCE!)

Hope Uni is going well for you, Mr!

    Take care.

  • @LadyHaych 50/50 does have a kind of indie vibe going on in it.

  • Hello *waves*

Thumbs up for your new MacBook :)

I liked the final Harry Potter films but for some reason when it comes to that franchise I remember very little of the actual storylines. I recently purchased the Blu-Ray collection and started re-watching them - but sitting here now I couldn't tell you anything that happened in any of them specifically, haha! I don't know :)

I LOVED Super 8 too! Great coming of age feel to it and Cooper the Alien is far too adorable <3 Elle Fanning = AWESOME!

  • Sick haircut. That should've been a movie. Someone should've filmed it.

    Sick.

  • i might do a video response for ya afterwards

  • @ImTheDVDMan1 afterwards what?

  • @fergmaster i was gonna do a vid response, but i didnt have time. So probably tomorrow

  • Hopefully this will be the year I actually put together a top 10. Drive, ROTPOTA, Source Code and Attack the Block are on the "To Watch" list. I'm hoping we get a Scream 5 and that Kirby is still alive! I'm holding out hope. :)

  • I still need to see Super 8 and Captain America...I know. I had a lot of fun with Attack The Block. Drive would probably be in my top 5. Great picks!

  • 50/50 is probably my number one, followed by Bridesmaids, Source Code, Super 8, Limitless, Hugo, and Crazy, Stupid, Love

Hugo was really amazing, just so you know!

  • @tvwizard13 I still haven't seen Bridesmaids, that was another one I missed.

  • I loved Super 8. It was all good but the kids definitely made the film for me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Captain America really surpassed my low expectations and I'm glad! It was damn fun!

  • @Crisrav1138 It was very good.

  • I really enjoyed Deathly Hallows Pt.2 but it felt like essentially one big final battle. A great one at that but I don't get this "Harry Potter for Best Picture!" love for it either. That's me though.

Loved Rise of the Planet of the Apes! Has a few problems but they had a pretty silly premise and took it seriously, which resulted in a great sci-fi ride!

Scre4m is great fun but I can see why people didn't like it. Kind of wastes some of its potential IMO. Still had a fun time with it though.

  • @Crisrav1138 I don't think ROTPOTA had sill premise.

  • Great list ferg, just wondering have you seen or are you planning on seeing The Artist?

  • @moviemadjack Yep I've seen it.

  • Drive was my favorite movie of the year as well. 2011 I didnt see much but among the films I wanna see are Shame, Hugo, and J. Edgar.

  • @crimsonflare506 I saw SHAME, not sure about J. Edgar it didn't look amazing.

  • Epic video ferg you never disapoint i think the best movie of 2011 was captian america cant wait for the avengers!!!!!!

  • @TheMoviegeek82 Me too!

  • Video quality is superb Ferg,

Didn't see many films at the cinema last year, in fact I havent seen any of these lol

which is ok cos it means I have them all to buy on BluRay :)

  • @raydvd Lots of good stuff to look forward to :)
