@the182punk you can get a butterfly for ten bucks, all though the latch comes in contact with the blade sometimes. You can fix that with a rubberband or an O ring

is there a safety cover you can get for the blade to practice with so that you DON'T cut yourself?

You can go and ask for someone to "cut" the blade at the edge, so it doesn't cut. But that will make the balisong unable to cut. If you want a "protection" for your tricks only, but the balisong to still be able to cut, I don't know... maybe try buying special gloves.

Impressive. I'm personally having a bit trouble getting out some detail, but I will admit I learned a lot, especially about hooking and sliding the finger, something I did not know until now.

Then again, I probably need a REAL butterfly knife rather than my simple dull one. But what can I say, when I buy it for 1.25 sheqels in Israel, I just couldn't resist.
