  • thay should take the owners of theas mills and shove them in a cage the rest of thare life and make them eatdog food and drink froma dish.

  • someone please tell me : WHY is it LEGAL to have puppy those terrible puppy mills? ? :(

  • HSUS PENSION CONTRIBUTIONS TOTAL 99-09 TOTAL $16,315,520.00 DONATION TO HELP SHETERS--> $14,822,706.66 HSUS gave MORE $ to their CEO PENSION FUND 10 YRS RUNNING than they gave to help needy shelters out of their avg 100 MILLION $ a yr intake.. Think about it like this In 10 years HSUS took in excess ONE BILLION DOLLARS and gave Approx 14.8 MILLION to help other shelters around 1.4? PERCENT? Should see ASPCAS AND PETAS RECORDS

  • Fuck those people I hope they're burning in hell right now

  • 9BREEDERS

is a puppy mill that posts on youtube..

SPAM THEIR VIDEOS WITH "DONT BUY FROM PUPPYMILLS"

  • this fucking get my blood boiling...i wanna boot stomp these people to death...NO JOKE

  • Its just sad for the animals. Just beacuse an animal has no soul like a human being don't need to be treated harshly from the ignorant careless fuckers!!! Bring me tears to see this animal in pain and suffering. God made animals so we can take care of them not by killing them! don't ya'll agree? I think its better for the dogs to all be neutered so they can't produce offspring. As the population goes less fewer dog suffers!!

  • @MsChorong an animal has no soul? really? yes they do. and i agree with you that animals need to be fixed, but i also believe that only a certain number of responsible breeders should be aloud by the government for each breed and that they should be checked on at least twise a year. we dont need breeds to die out but we also dont need them overpopulated. I love dogs, or really any animal for that fact, and I feel ashamed of what my own kind has done. That is just my opinion.

  • atleast these guys have cages to move in - i wish someone would come to India or Thailand and see the way the puppy mills run in these places - the dogs are deformed and live in closed boxes! :-(

  • When the buying stops, the cruelty will too!

  • Puppy mills are where EVERY pet store dog comes from. Keep supporting this industry and sheltered dogs will keep being killed...

  • It's as if the dogs are being punished for no reason. That's just sick.

  • @KRouSLoCo

    I hear that!

  • SAVE ALL THE ANIMALS, NOT ONLY THE DOGS AND CATS. COWS ALSO LOVE, CHICKEN ALSO WANT TO HAVE FUN AND LOVE TO GOSSIP, PIGS ARE ONE OF THE SMARTEST ANIMALS ON EARTH!!!!! BE VEGETARIAN, DON`T EVER DRINK MILK, YOU NEED TO PRODUCE A INDIVIDUAL LIVING BEING TO GET THE MILK AND THERE IS NO OTHER PLACE FOR HIM TO GO OTHER THEN THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE.

  • PROFIT MY ASS.

    That is SICK!

  • FFS...I got a puppy mill without knowing it. I have no idea what to do, it is so frighten all the time.

  • This is so sad. One of my dogs was rescued from a puppy mill. He's the sweetest dog in the world, and I can't believe anyone would do that to him. He has a happy life with us now. Remember, don't shop, adopt :)

Pet Stores buy from brokers. If a kennel sells to a broker they have to be licensed. I guarantee those terrible places would NEVER even come close to getting a license. Wake up people and get the facts. Licensed breeders that are USDA inspected are extremely and highly regulated. They are cleaner than most homes are. Peta kills over 90% of the ones they get in. After aspca or humane society sell all they can they kill the rest. I'm glad they don't do that to our children. ( yet)

  • 285 dogs rescued sounds all good and all but then what happened to them? "rescue" is a relative term. yeah they were all brought out of the mill but then.... euthanized or every single one of them is either in a clean no kill shelter, foster home, or perm. home? What they did here is the easiest part of the rescue process.

  • @7jshelto agreed, but atleast there wont be any more added to that 285.

  • @7jshelto why doesn't the aspca save cockroaches? theres suffering cockroaches out there too

  • @alexbeathalo3 Yeah i dont know if your being sarcastic, but its sad because on every "animal saving organization" the main picture is a sad dog or cat. What about reptiles? what about ferrets/hamsters/guinea pigs? ect. Why do these groups always show dogs and cats?! i still support them though.

  • @alexbeathalo3 It is not our fault cockroaches are over populated. It is OUR fault our "pet" animals are. Humans fault. the animals we breed to be our companions are overpopulated and dying at our hands because we can't handle the numbers WE CREATE. cockroaches have every right to live, I kill them because they pose risks to my health. survival of the fittest. Now if I was breeding cockroaches for my own entertainment and then smushed them when there were too many, I would be an ass.

  • i have bought a dachshund from a puppy mill and i love him but as much as i knew about dogs i did not know what a puppy mill was but after a year with him i found out what a puppy mill is i shall NEVER buy a puppy from a puppy mill again; screw you AKC for supporting puppy mills and giving them papers to make the pups look legit

  • Just to think, i bet any money these people will be up and running again

  • Dogs in korea are suffering the most horrible terror.

    Please help us!

  • hmmm conpared to some pupy mills this one isn't as bad but it still is horrible :(

  • SO CUTE!

  • Residents of Ohio watching YouTube - Please sign a petition to Ban the Ohio Dog Auctions! This is a citizen's grassroots project and we have to get 120,000 signatures by December in order to get this issue on the ballot in November of 2011, when the citizens of Ohio will be asked whether or not they want to allow the dog auctions to continue. The dog auction is where puppy-mill breeders buy and sell breeding stock, often coming from many surrounding states that have already outlawed them.

  • i am part of the ASPCA i almost love animals more than humans but its not the kind of love that can replace humans and i sopport everyone who likes this video and want to help al the way if you want to speak with me about the ASPCA or animal crulity ect. here is my email tristinthomas13@yahoo.com please talk with me about it and i will try my best to stop animal crulity thanks for your help!!!

  • @shadowgod2553

i know what you mean. i do just about anything for an animal. animals have no way of telling you how they feel or what is wrong. so they need us to be there for them to take care of them.

  • Seeing a puppy without a home or that has been abused or treated bad make me cry ilove animals & i want to help save there lives but idont think i cant help yet becuase im little but when i grow up if i get the chance to be a vetenerian ima help any animal thats life is in danger & i just hope i will succeedd not for me but to stop animal cruelty & to help them live happy & with love from someone that will care about them .

  • @theonlytraviesa

Anyone can help. Just be letting people know to not buy from pet stores and why.

  • The people that do this to animals , should spend time in a restricted sized cage ,covered in their own shit

  • I think it's really good the aspca is doing this. Not many people realize how affected dogs are by this kind of thing. We gave my grandma a dog that was born in a place like this and she is jump and even barks at me and I see her at least once a week. Aspca, keep up the good work!

  • all four of my dogs are saved from puppy mills i will never buy any pet from a pet store to many pets need saving then for me to be self and buy one just bc its a breed.

  • thank you for these videos, I'm sure most people who get dogs from these places would never support them if they knew.

  • I hate puppy mills!

  • one day im going to be an animal rescuer

  • wats with the sonar sound at 0:39?

  • they probably ended up putting half these dogs to sleep

  • @Zeldadude17 aspca doesn't do that. neither does the humane society. peta does

  • @IAmTheCthulhu

Well it depends on what they were put to sleep for. If it was because so many where so sick they were dying or in so much pain....Yeah. And if they where mentally...well let's just say "broken" to a point of know return and were a danger to themselves and others. Then they would. Hopefully they wouldn't put them down for any reasons other than that.

  • @theonlyzdog

they put them down for those reasons and also when they are too old and cant produce them anymore babies to sell.

  • I fucking hate puppy mills. adopt a dog from the pound. give a dog a home. if you buy from a puppy mill it gives the owners monwy but they wont spend it on improved conditions. reoprt them .

  • This makes me SICK !!!

  • Please everyone out there do not ever purchase an animal from a pet store! That contributes to places like puppy mills and puppy mills need to be stopped!!!!

  • congrats to all of you. i'm so happy there are people out there like the ASPCA. we now have a rescue dog who was abused and neglected by TWO previous male owners. he's a great dog and is now able to trust my dad. thank you all so much. i will still donate monthly for your cause. much love!! :)

  • EveryBody Should Donate To ASPCA Please They NEED YOUR Help!!!!!

  • thisis nothing it is censored and polite the real mills can be sooo much worse. see some real footage will make grown man cry. RISE! RISE!

  • The reason why you should NEVER purchase puppies from a pet store. This is where they come from.

  • can explain why people leave healthy puppies on the streets?

  • It is very sad to see this. I rescue on the street two cats I still have and two dogs. I am sure if I didn't rescue them they would have died and to see this video it make you think how can people be so mean.

  • come on,,,

let ferret legal in los angeles,,,

dont be cruel on ferret in los angeles

  • its sad that these RETARDES don't care about the puppy's there selling

  • i really respect rescue efforts i know myself i could never do it i would be a total mess crying and properly punching out the puppy miller and puttin him in a cage andhosing him down then locking the doorand throwing away the key

  • Comment removed

  • Totally understand, but do what you can. No matter how small. Every bit helps.

  • The "Humane" Society gasses, poisons & decompresses to death healthy kittens & puppies by the millions under the fiction of EUTHANASIA (mercy killing). Where's the mercy & humaneness in that?

  • Lol dauchands :20

  • You had better believe it JoBros and they are licensed by thier local councils, it is LEGAL in Britain but we are fighting it!!

  • Thank you God for the ASPCA

  • TOTALLY!!! These puppy mill breeders are CRUEL!!!! If I saw one, id spit in his/her face and call 911 immeadiatly.

(BTW: i think i spelled immeadiatly wrong)

  • who ever started pup mill they should get there ass kicked thats not kool

  • It breaks my heart to see animals in such conditions but it hurts more to know that the penalties for pup mill violations are not as harsh as they should be and that many places allow them to continue operating. Dogs are beautiful creatures that deserve the best treatment possible. I hope one day I can work with the ASPCA to fight animal cruelty and establish harsher laws against violators.

  • My cat just died 2hours ago =(

  • Oh, you poor thing. I'm glad that it died in a loving home rather than a situation like this or any of the other terrible things we do to innocent companion animals. Sorry for your loss. :(

  • I'm so sorry :(

  • I'm sooo sorry! I know how it is to lose a pet. D-: D-;

  • my dog was thoroughly disturbed too =)

way to got ASPCA. good work. what you guys do is awesome =)

  • this shouldnt be happening, right now, people should know that its really cruel and its against the law.

  • omg.omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg ogm o

  • this is happening in Britain and our RSPCA wont do anything at all. Well done the ASPCA you've got balls

  • I CANT BELIEVE that Britan is doing that!

  • How could people do such a thing. =[

  • omg whats a puppy mill i heard of it before but never known what it meant someone tell me please.

  • A puppy mill is where they breed dogs in VERY bad conditions and they get diseases, and then are sold at pet stores for thousands of $'s

  • so right on

  • Poor doggy:(

  • why doesnt the animal rescue people only rescue SOME dogs why not all of em

  • Because a lot of the times, the owners of the puppymills will not release all of the dogs. They will only release the ones no longer making them money.

And the laws in most states are not strong enough to shut these places down so there is no way to force these people to give up every dog.

  • oh ok i hate people who buy dogs at pet stores

  • I do not support pet stores who sell animals either. Its a horrible industry!

  • i know!!! :(

  • Thats why my parents only get dogs from rescues where you can trust the ppl

  • Comment removed

  • The poor things! :( I hope they all find loving homes....

  • Unfortunately, most don't. I don't know about these dogs, but for the most part, especially here in Los Angeles, they kill most of the puppies and kittens (and other animals too I'm sure) after 3 days. This town really doesn't give a shit about animals.

  • so sad! Good job guys!!

  • some people are just sick

  • Keep up the good work

  • God Bless you ASPCA !

  • poor things thank god they got rescued!!! the existance of puppy mills makes me sick!!!! dogs have feelings too!!! :(

  • i love the aspca and all it has done. For those who work for aspca, check out the saddening and truely depressing dog fight videos on youtube. its very sad

  • animal cruelty like puppy mills is an abhorrence

  • The ASPCA is definitly the type of organization I want to be supporting. They're not extreme and they're not ridiculous- they focus on problem areas and they work on fixing them without trying to force their ideals on people, and it is a huge relief to see them at work after locking jaws with extremist animal liberation organizations- who seem to care more about publicity and violence than saving pets!

    DONATE DONATE!

  • @xwhereswalleyx Like PETA but not crazy.

  • wonderful job.

  • can you hear those dauchunds? how sad- adoption IS the loving option!!!

  • My wife and I donate $25 a month. I know it's not a lot, but even if it goes towards medicine for some of these dogs... God bless the ASPCA. :(

  • so sad.

  • Well done ASPCA!!

  • cute dogs in 0.22

  • 0:06 im surprised those fucking bastards

actually bothered to make the floor of the cage out of wood instead of painful wire.

  • you can help by not buying a pet shop dog

  • Yea these dogs look like they were just starving to death. This is the matted coats, in serious need of medical care? Maybe I'm missing something. The pens looked due for cleaning.. I saw nothing ready to die from neglect.

  • your right, these dogs arnt as bad as some. thats a good thing, they got out in time, they wont suffer like the others have and will have to.

puppy mills are real, puppy mills are animal abuse. this isnt something a bunch of tree huggers just made up, its serious and makes animals suffer everyday.

no one forces someone to own or breed animals. they choose to have them, so they should be adults about it and take responsibility for the life they choose to have, and take care of them

  • Do you honestly think it's a healthy life for dogs or anything to be stuffed in cages like that with multiple other animals? I know that when I was younger I was arrested for a DUI and had to spend the night with 18 drunk people in a cell for 12 hours. It felt like torture and it wasn't even a day for me. I have no problem with the way they treated me - I deserved it. But these animals' only crime is being born in a puppy mill and they don't deserve to sit in cages like that day after day.

  • Stuffed in cages? If they were individually housed then *that* is wrong too. They are confined with plenty of room; fed, appear in great shape, pens need cleaned; looks like the dogs had it better than many Americans esp in today's economy. You don't know (unless you were there) they're in their kennels all day. I think it's much healthier to be confined, room to play, with a buddy & food than left to be "free"; hit by cars, poisoned etc. Yes of the two those dogs looked in good shape.

  • I'm so sad for dogs!

  • These people who do stuff to these poor animal are sick!!!! THEY DO THIS EVERY DAY!!!!!

  • These people who treat the dogs like this should be put in these kind of conditions and treated even worse!!!! This is sick. Who would want to do this to such cute, innocent dogs?? Keep up your hard and wonderful work ASPCA! You guys rock.

  • good i hate people who do this to animals. thank god for the aspca. it kicks ass

  • this is sick

  • I actually live in white county where this happend. And there is alot worse stuff that goes on here. I wish the ASPCA was head quarted here. God knows you guys would have alot on your hands!!

  • It's so sad because i completely agree with you, my county has been labeled "The Puppy mill capital of the east coast" it's b/c of my town that Oprah did her segments on puppy mills.

  • i saw that segment i cried so hardd

well if u read the cat and dog fancy magazines or watched the news lately there is a cat named erore and his ears where cut off by a kid who has a record of animal abusing. once he drowned a puppy in a of those porta potty. this all took place in kent county where the kent county humane society saved erore. i volented as a camp counsler im so this summer we met herand she is a very nice cat.

  • I dont like Puppy Mills. I have a kind heart for dogs. The people responsible should be thrown in jail. Dogs are just like people. Would the owners like to be treated like that? I dont think so!

  • poor dogs in puppy mills

  • ASPCA kicks ass.

  • Puppy mills make me, like everyone else here, so ANGRY. God i just wanna punch those people who run them in the face/crotch etc...and Eplafan is right, they should be put in cages UNDER the jail, with bad venalation and stuff see how they like it, that's how they treated the dogs :/ And most pets you get from pet stores, are probably from a puppy mill...gah makes me very angry. I would just like to ninja the owner's asses.

  • I hate those puppy mills so much.

Thank you soo much for saving them.

Poor dogs, they were barking at all of ya cuz of their "owners". :((((((((((

  • its cute!

  • There is more to neglect then being sick!...and Not all sick dogs LOOK sick!

  • i dont really like puppy mills, because its not a good quality of life for the breeder dogs, but what was wrong with these dogs. they didn't look sick. but i hope they get adopted to a descent home.

  • Aww.

    This video is so sweet.

    Thanks ASPCA.

  • puppy mills are sad i can name 5 points of resons that puppy mills suck

    1:puppys get sick

2:not able to live 4 verry long

  • agreed, it is sad how they breed dogs for money and most of them are either sick or mistreated and there are so many dogs in shelter looking for homes. it is not only breeders' fault but people who buy dogs instead of adopting. very sad.

  • poor daschund/weenies, can i have one

  • I hope they put these stupid, hick, inhumane fuckers UNDERNEATH the jail ... not just in it. The sons of bitches oughta be locked in a cage under the jail.

  • puppy mills stink!!!!!!! the owner of the puppy mill should pay. thank you aspca, for all of your doings, you have helped all animals in need

  • Don't like puppy mills, but a lot of these "rescues" they end up putting animals down. So how many of these dogs are going to be put down?

  • STOP BUYING DOGS FROM PET STORES! If you want a 'pure bred' you can go online and search for a particular breed rescue organization, they have lots of purebred dogs and puppies! Stop patronizing irresponsible breeders too, there are TONS of dogs in the paper 'free to good home'. I hope we can get another dog soon, we have one but want to get him a buddy.

  • actualy ALOT OF THESE DOGS ARE DEAD NOW!.. why!?.. bec! they dont a have an owner!?.. so they end up in a pound!!!.. and if a dog wouldnt get adopted the get EUTHANIZED!!!

  • they are not dead they go into rescues hello look it up my mom works with a rescue all rescues go running when a puppy mill is raided thanks

  • well youll never now!

  • Depends on the city that captured the animals. In the city I live in certain shelters are no kill shelters. I also suggest that these types of shelters get more funding. I do not know about the city in question or the shelters where the animals were sent to so I can not comment on this case. I would like all shelters to be a no kill shelter. In some case these shelters still do kill but its when an animal is to sick or to violent.

  • this is ridiculous. there would be NO puppy mills if we just eliminated the demand by regulating pet stores and verifying if they purchased their dogs from these mills. this can easily be avoided.

  • damn, nice to see that the dogs are safe...their such nice dogs on top of it..how could anybody do that

  • tony is a

  • THAT WAS SPARTA!!!!!!!

  • Its a relief that the dogs are safe!

  • Does anyone know when the dogs might be available for adoption or who to contact? Please me with information if possible.

  • okay....creep...may you come as a dog in the next life. Asswipe...

  • forgot their faithful and full of unconditional love did ya?

    humans cud take lessons..

  • this is soooo ssad. but when they rescue them it's just a wonderful relief!

  • This is so sad. I can't wait until I become an animal cruelty investigator so I can stop things like this. I feel so helpless right now.

  • Well actually you shouldn't you can help in many ways :) like donating, taking action, helping in shelters, etc, etc.

  • I do that :] I volunteer at the Rhode Island SPCA

  • when i grow up, if i'm rich enough, i want to start hotel for dogs and hotel for cats all around the globe ..... i hope i can do it

  • I know! I want to help all those dogs and cats but I'm still too young. That's what sucks.

  • Actually you are never too young to help, you can hlep in many ways, there are some shelters which you can go and help, you can take action online, donate, etc.

  • Well I tired going to the shelters and volunteer but they still say I'm to young but I donated blankets and old newspapers.

  • my school had this thing when they got lots of kids to donate pet food, blankets, shapoo and stuff like thats and pu tit in this HUGE dog house as big as a refigirator ... boy it was FULL

  • thanks you all for that.

  • I remember that when I was little I wanted to do the same :)

  • thank you. and i mean that, thank you for saving these poor things. thank you.

  • The punishment for these owners is a week of treatment exactly the way they treated these animals. Let's put them in a little glass house, feed them, force them to feel what the dogs felt. Now that would be justice.

  • I am hoping they show those dogs that they said where matted and had tooth abcesses - also was there some type of warning before raiding this property and taking the dogs ? These dogs are FAT FAT FAT- there feed and appear healthy to me- see the feces it came from some where. Nice choice to NOT Have the dogs on muddy ground and up on wood - looks like they where thinking of the dogs. They have homes and dishes - which they probably finished off being so fat.

  • Hey Pickle maybe you Smell like a Douch!

Dont make assumtions. MOST homes feed there dogs 2 times a day , MOST PEOPLE are not home to feed and water there dogs when they work , Does that mean that MOST people EVEN You should not have a dog ?

  • BTW if the dogs where so hungry they would have eatten there own poo. NO I dont think its cool to leave a dog to run around in there poop , The Dachshunds in the pen in the vid where obviously in 2 days worth of there own crap- not ok with me . My point was only that the dogs WHERE feed or there would be no poop.

  • munni rules in the world s many times...sadly....but happily not tew us all who see animals for the bewtiful creatures they are..wud we breed n sell humans? nO!! so isnt right for animals either....

..*blessings* sent tew yew all for the wonderful love n care yew give it wil be returned 10 fold :)

  • Yes they do and its called Adoption - and people are payed $10,000 - $50,000 for an Human Adoption vs. the small pleasure of $300- $1500 Pure breed pet that you can be sure of a temperment and genetics when it comes from a good breeder- Altho then there are bad breeders too and you can get an unpredictable out come - but still a dog to love.

  • your forgetting one main thing....humans have a choice..the dogs dont....they are caged n bred over n over JUST for munni..n people who want he *perfect* looking dog..no such thing as perfect ...

there enuf dogs in the world that need homes without this continous breeeding

  • Right there with you , its obvious that these dogs lived in kennels and where not allowed to run , my point is that I got an Email from HSPCA and they said the dogs where not feed , had tooth abcesses and matted coat - yet showed very healthy dogs coming out of proper safe kennels just lacking food - with poop that may be 2 days old- but no real shocker . They may have other vids later . I Donate , I breed and rescue fix and rehome .

  • What's the point of breeding any dogs and making money from it when there are so many dogs in shelters who are going to die who are perfectly healthy and need a home; they just don't happen to be genetically perfect purebreeds? For every dog born by a breeder and adopted out, one has to die in a shelter. I think it's pretty irresponsible to breed dogs at all in world where cities (like LA) give dogs and cats less than 3 days in a shelter before they're killed due to overcrowding.
