@electronicexposure I don't. Check out the holerecordings channel though. Episode 1 of Panica has KiNK doing a walkthrough of various uTrk commands and how to loop samples. Your best option though is to check out the newly revamped buzztunes . org and download some bmx files from there.

@yamatogeorge1 If you have more sequencer tracks than fit on one screen, you can move left and right across them with the keyboard arrows. :)

@link36 Sounds like one of your machines is in the wrong directory. Infector in the effects folder, for instance. Check to make sure they're in the right folder.

press tab and shitf- nothing happens... Can't find the notes in Sythrom Sinus. I am using Windows 7 btw, so I hate to change compatibility mode for Buzz to work at all..

@MaikUniversum You don't have to use compatibility mode. If Buzz isn't opening without compat mode on, it means there's an issue with one of the machines you have - to fix it, delete Buzz and make sure to get the latest pack of machines and buzz installer from buzzmachines . com.

As for Sythrom Sinus 2 (Don't bother with Sinus 1), the first column is the note column, it's on it by default. You can tell what column you're in by looking at the status bar.

@hamsteralliance Thanks for reply. I downloaded the latest Buzz version (30MB), but when tried to open it aftwer installation it hanged, I tried this several times and then decided to change compatibility mode and it worked for me. By the way, I am using x64 Win 7.

I took Sinus 2 instead and it works. :)

Hi! First of all: Thank you very much!! I think i would have never worked with Buzz without your tutorial. I worked with the version that is shown in this vid. Now i got the new 2010 version. My problem is, there are just some of the machines in that new version. When i copy all the dlls all machines are unsorted. The sorted machines on the old version are better...for me. Can you help me with that...or is it a bigger thing? sorry for my english. -Greets-

@yamatogeorge1 The sorting of machines is controlled by a file called index.txt. I have added a link to the video description - on that buzzpage, under Miscellaneous Buzz Files is my index file. Put the contents of the zip file into your buzz \ gear directory and you should have the old sorting back.

There is also a collection of index files on buzzmachines. :)

Try the fix listed down a bit in these comments in reply to theorange1000. If that doesn't work out for ya, you can always snag the latest beta of "New Buzz" off the jeskola website. New Buzz wasn't an option when this video was made. :)

if you go the New Buzz route, just install it and then instead of installing the massive pack from buzzmachines, just extract the Generators and Effects folders. Still, do the fix mentioned below.

@FollowTheReaper1112 Hey dude if you use Vista I had the same problem. I read on the Buzz site that right click the icon and go to properties. In the menu go to compatibility. Then make it compatible with Windows 98 and it works. Hope that helps :)

FRIK it just downloaded new beta from web...and it doesnt make any sound ....wtf?i cant get out sound from it....and where can i get old verS? the webpage dl fk is down...

In the new one, go to the view menu and to preferences. In the preferences, what is the wave output driver set to? It should be set to Polac ASIO or Direct X. Pick one of those and then click config to make sure that the sound is actually going to your soundcard, whatever it may be. I have a Creative brand soundcard, so mine shows as Creative ASIO.

Hmmm, I downloaded the program from the website, but the program wont start, it freezes at "Loading Machines.." and says "buzz has stopped working". I'm not very computer savvy, does anyone know what's going on? thanks!

That's always an issue with that big pack of Buzz machines.

Go into your gear folder and to the generators and effects folders and delete these machines and any (stereo) versions of them:

11-MidiCCout.dll

11-FM1z.dll

11-FM v1.0.dll

A2M.dll

Then try loading Buzz up again. It should open.

Also, update to the latest Buzz version by going to Jeskola . net - Oskari has been updating it like crazy.

Just for testing purposes, move the entire Effects folder out of the Buzz dir and see if Buzz will start. If it does, you know it's something in that folder that's preventing it from starting up. If it's still broken, move it back and try the same thing with the Generators folder.

If it still doesn't open, then I dunno what's up.

You can also try enabling a compatibility mode in the properties of your shortcut to Buzz. Sometimes that works.

I moved the folders, and it did the same thing, but it automatically said "buzz has stopped working". And i downloaded the new beta version and i can't hear anything, yes i changed the properties for my sound card. I don't know what to do.

The only problem with the NT Compatability mode is that it's unnecessary and is actually just avoiding the problem rather than fixing it.

The real fix is to delete certain buggy machines from your gear directory - but instead of listing all of them here, it's best to just go to buzzchurch and look at the countless threads about it there. :D

This video was edited with Adobe After Effects. The graphics were made in Photoshop. The lightning is an After Effects effect. :)
