  • Mother of all things holy...

  • @mikhail25able Spasibo vam za informatsiu !

  • @marusmak Согласен с вами на все 100%. Классно он танцевал ! Посмотрите его "Дон Кихот" еще раз ! Там в корде стоит Бурлака , бывший художестенный руководитель Большого Театра :))

  • This guy is unreal ! You are right , it is about time people saw this . We have many overrated so called stars who are not even near to his level . They wouldn't even try half of what Bat did in his days . It's shame he was unknown , life is not fair .

Thanks for introducing this amazing dancer !

  • it's like he's turning on ice! Those pirouettes are sooo fast!

  • @missiheartballet really saw very few technician as bat udval his don q is umbelivle never saw turns sections like this may be only vladimir vasiliev and mikhail lavrovsky and with revoltades a la micha.umbelivle really.

  • Amazing facility for turning!

  • WOW!! Thanks for the introduction to this amazing dancer. Too bad that he is basically finished now.

  • @palubob really amazing one of the greatest technician l saw ever,incredi8ble didn't became a star

  • @pediatrapaol agree with you , Bat is one great technician ! Too bad we don't know much about him . But comments like " He needed technique coach " or calling him "limited dancer " really made me laugh .

  • @mikhail25able READ THE COMMENTS OF TENGIS 89 IS A FORMER DANCER HIS COLLEGUE IN THE COMPANY WHERE BAT WORKED IN RUSSIA,NOW HE CLOSED HIS ACCOUNT BUT BEFORE WE WROTE A LOT PRIVATELY AND HE TOLD ME BAT WAS THE GREATEST THECNICIAN HE HAD SEEN.

  • Who knows why some people never become stars? Often it's a case of being in the right place at the right time. But Bat is an exceptional dancer. Than k you posting.

  • He looks terrific in this, good technique and a good masculine personality. I wish I'd seen him perform live.

  • @Buondelmonte123 imo good is too few, never saw a so terrific don q variation, very strange he never became a star .

  • Is it technique that makes a great dancer or the way in which one imparts the art of ballet to the audience? Technique is the tool....the art is the impact the dancer has on the audience in portraying the choreography or the character of the role. Bat is not like any other dancer and I take exception to the comparison of one great dancer to another. It is their unique quality that sets them apart. All dancers can improve their technique as perfect does not exist in a human body.

  • @balletnbc the general level of technique is too hight today so a top dancer necessary must be technically strong, but bat is not only strong,is imo a phenomenal dancer, never saw a don q variation with all these difficulties he did nine and eight turns in the two turning section, revoltade ,one umbelivle ending with double tour /pirouettes series,to not speack about the pirouettes a la 2 with turning in the middle that saw only from BATALOV.

  • @pediatrapaola Thank you for introducing me to this incredible fire dancer! Finally to see a Mongolian dancer is greart for me ....Yes I see he is good technically and also charm and lightness..

  • @opensecret51 he was trained in perm,he was not good ,phenomenal is the right word.note he can do what micha batalov and schauffus can do ,is a mistery why didn't became a world size star.

  • @pediatrapaola Yes , you are right he can do what batalov and schaffus can do but something is missing I realy do not know what I kep looking and looking

  • @opensecret51 the film is old and not good, and surely his hartistry is not undrestable from this kind of short film ,would be necessary something more, but his don q variation is terrific, and in corsaire performes the same cor of schauffus .is terrific.technically is at the same level of world top dancers

  • @pediatrapaola That is true ,you have a better eye and more experiance ! Well I had to look again and I could notice more !the lighting and the engle do not allow to capture his full presence on stage

  • @abbadonnergal Dear friend , have you seen him dance live ? Must be amazing to see something like that . Some of his stuff I've never seen before .

  • He needed technique coach ? He's technique is amazing !

  • @mikhail25able agree completaly,one great thecnician really.his don q is the hardest l have seen,and saw many

  • @preciousbash he is now about 45 teaches in mariland married genia sigour he was at his best end 80's first90's ,his tecnique in turning is outstanding must admit

  • @pediatrapaola I saw Misha in his mid forties and he was still amazing. I am certain he could do a few amazing things yet if he has the time, desire, opportunity, and inclination. Does he still dancea t all? Does anyone know?

  • @preciousbash no idea really if he occasionally still dances.thinck teaches principally.

  • Класс ! Вот это техника !!!

  • meraviglioso...senza parole...eleganza e fierezza

  • He teaches at my ballet school now a few days a week. I didn't realize he was that amazing!

  • @GawkyBallerina he was phenomenal,is he still good?he should have done a superstar

  • @pediatrapaola I've never seen him dance full out until now. However, he is a pretty good partner XD

  • Good to see old friend again ! We both danced with Russian State Ballet in 90's.

I've seen him at his best . Trust me , this is not his best performance, not even close!! Because that time he already had bad injury . He couldn't really dance full out . Before the injury , he was Crazy Good !

  • Amazing !

  • Bat danced in Annapolis until 2002. He is currently teaching in bowie with his beautiful wife, Genia, & still doing guest performances around the US. Always love seeing him dance.

  • @joanciss how is possible that this umbelivle virtuoso did not became partyculary famous?is he still good?

  • Haven't seen him dance for maybe four years, but he was still spectacular. I don't know why he never received the recognition he deserved, but he is still quite in demand for guest performances. The late Eddie Stewart brought him to Annapolis in 2000 or 2001. Bat told me he loved the atmosphere there. It wasn't dog eat dog like many companies.

  • @joanciss HIS TECNIQUE WAS REALLY INCREDIBILY STRONG HE WAS ABLE TO DO ALL THE TRIKS OF MICHA AND PETER SCHAUFFUS TOGHETER

  • he seems an ice skater during his turns, dancers don't spin so fast.. :D

  • He's 40 now. He was my friend in my childhood

  • sweet!

  • What year was this??? & is he still dancing?

  • The tape says 1992-1993. Bat still dances, but mostly guestings. He teaches too. He's lived in Maryland for a while.

  • How old is he now? I'm assuming he's in his late 30's or early 40's by now??? Did he ever dance for San Jose Cleveland Ballet by any chance? I think my teacher knows him from 90's. Also where does he guest normally???

  • I believe he's 40. He did dance for San Jose Cleveland Ballet. I'm not sure where he guests normally. I think locally, around Maryland.

  • Yes, he's 40 now. I'm his old friend from Mongolia

  • excuse me kind friend but how is possible that this phenomenal dancer did not became particulary famous he is not less gifted than micha may be more

  • He was out for a long time with a bad injury. That probably had something to do with it.

  • incredible l saw all great dancers of recent past, micha, vasiliev, schauffus, rudy, but tecnichally he is probabily more gifted,

  • PediatraPaola- To compare this gifted but limited dancer to Mischa,Vassiliev, is quite generous.Sure he can turn, and they are beautiful when centered(Rehearsal at times).Elevation is adequate at best and to do the foutee, pirouette sequence in Nutcraker is a page from the exiting Don Q.Terrific,YES,but NOT in that class.

  • kind friend that class is only of these dancers, off course I WAS SPEACKING ABOUT TECHNICALL SKILLS ONLY,BUT FROM THAT POINT OF VIEW HE WAS TERRIFIC,AND THE STRANGE WAS HE WAS UNKNOWN

  • @Leonnidik Sorry my friend but YES HE IS IN THAT CLASS!! Fame is not class!! a lot of dancers that probably you don´t know has been in this level of quality!

and you are watching just a cheap videotape bad filmed.

But unfortunatly in this world you need a lot more things than class

or quality to be a mega star. of course those who you named deserve

what they have but there are a lot more lossed by the time that have almost

    nothing...

  • agreeeeeeeeeee

  • @IvanBDance have do tyou had occasion to see him live?

  • @pediatrapaola Dear youtube´s friend: No,sorry but I didn´t get to see him.

But some people told me that he was even better that what you see

over there. And i Know that there are more amazing videos somewhere.

I been talking with him(Bat) lately by facebook,

He is just an amazing guy. A quite man far from stupid games

in my opinion maybe" too authentic" to deal with the political power...

  • @IvanBDance AS I WROTE IS 89 TENGIS

  • @preciousbash @pediatrapaola Id not agree. He traves and leans to much for me. He is very good, but no where as good as Misha, Ivan,or Vladimir. He is not as fluid either, His landings are kind of galumfy. I think he can do much better. I think he needed the sort of technique coaches that these others had in his primary stages, but it is not too late. A few motnhs and he could magnificent.

  • Comment removed

  • @preciousbash READ THE COMMENT OF 89 TENGIS PLEASE,HIS FRIEND AND ALSO DANCER IN 90'S IN RUSSIAN CLASSICAL BALLET.IS AMONG COMMENTS IN PAGE TWO.

  • @pediatrapaola

I am not saying he did nto have the tools!! He did!! I am saying that he did not execute the fullness of the femininity of his dance and was bit sloppy. I am nto trying be contrary or insulting!! THE MAN HAD SKILLS. Just diod not full utilize them..at least from what I see here. I watched this 3 times before I commented. Every movement from head to toe..every gesture.. It' s just theopinion of one person!! I am interested in seeing more though.

  • @preciousbash WERY FEW WAS FILMED ABOUT HIM SADLY DID YOU READ TENGIS?BAT STUDIED IN PERM.AND ANYWAY DANCERS VERY WORST THAN HIM ARE BETTER KNOWN.NOW IS IN MARYLAND TO TEACH DANCED IN BALTIMORA.

  • @abbadonnergal dear friend among recent comments there is one of 89 tengis he is a former dancer from siberia,he danced 7 years in RSB with UDVAL,l took contact, was very interesting, suggest you to contact him
