He's ok. The thing is that everybody tries to outdue Stevie at his own game, the "quick throat" or melisma. You know the vocal fluctuations. The funny part is is that Stevie doesn't even use it on thi song!!

@nidiaaw its called runnin..n its not that they try to out do stevie, they jus sing it in their own way..sammie always uses a lot of runs in all his songs..n he kan do dat cuz he has da control..thats all..

@Douggy112 Maybe runnin' is the new jack word for it but in the music world it's called "melisma" or "quick throat". And Stevie was the artist that brought it to pop/rock music. It's something they use a lot in middle eastern music. My point is it's ok to "run every once in a while in a song but when you do it through the entire song it's either showboating or trying too hard. In this case I say he's trying too hard.

@nidiaaw i kan see why they call it runnin' now..its much simpler..but inoe he did.. it takes a lot of trainin n voice control to even be able to do it like dat n even more at tha high range dat he duz it..i think its amazin to have that much control ova ur voice..idk mayb its jus me..but na he duznt try too hard its jus how he sings every singer has their own distinctive way they sing so that they dnt sound the same as everybody else or a lil thing dey do..and this is his..i like it..
