The truth is that Israel goes to great lengths to warn Palestinian civilians to move aside when they go in to fight Hamas or other terror groups. They actually go further than any army in the world to do this. They have every right to retaliate when Hamas etc turn violence on them, as in the recent attacks. Israeli attacks are always defensive or retaliatory and are legal in international law. It is tragic when children are killed, as it is when Israeli children are murdered.

If Hamas had guts and were remotely moral, they would fight from those places, drawing fire away from their own children. No IDF base is situated next to an urban centre, but Palestinians always attack the civilian centres, never the IDF. There has never been genocide among the Palestinians, nor has any Israeli government even threatened to commit it, unlike the Palestinians.
