Hmm, I seem to recall that USC fans threw ketchup at us during half-time, and after the game they yelled rather bad insults like "you suck, f*ing hippies," etc.
The only thing good about USC's band is their helmets and the fact that their drum major wears armor. That's awesome. It'd be better if they didn't play that song that they play the whole stinking game though...
So what???? Our band is beloved and inspiring to our team, the biggest honor for a player after a big game is to lead the TMB in "Conquest" using a sword. Fight On!
Actually, this was USC V Michigan in the 2004 Rose Bowl, but I do agree that the Texas and USC marching bands kick as, and so to does the Hawkeye Marching band, even though the football team is young, and can not get anything going.
I also think Texas has a kick ass marching band too! Before one of my friends went to USC I was and still am a huge fan of the Longhorns and Trojans! I was neutral when both schools challenged each other during this game!
There really is not a more beautiful sight than Pasadena on January 1st.
