  • Funniest line is when Liberace says "Minnie Pearl, if I could be like you and Lord know that I've tried..."

  • I just love this!!!!!!!!

  • Loved Minnie Pearl such talent

  • If someone makes her life story you can see the resemblances between her & Bette Midler. Minnie was the best comedian though. She really wanted to be an actress .I suppose all of us true fans already know that.

  • I saw Minnie Pearl and other Opry types on my 10th birthday in 1977, during a roadshow that passed through Halifax, Nova Scotia. All I really remember is Miss Pearl... :)

  • what happen? Where did all the entertainment like this go too?

  • Wonderful - such an entertaining old queen!!

  • what did she say at the beginning?

  • Did any notice the price tag is still on Minnie's hat?

  • The pricetag was her trademark...I doubt you will ever see a picture of her without it.

  • The price tag was ALWAYS on her hat. That was part of her schtick!

  • 2 Masters of Showmanship who will forever live in our hearts and be a big part of our child hood memories Thankyou Lee and Minnie!!!

  • I see this and I miss them even more. Wonderful!

  • dude, sure wish my brother george was here

  • Two brilliant camp artists filling our hearts with joy and love. People like Minnie and Lee made us glad to be alive.

  • Now that was Gay!! LOL! Loved them both!

  • a good joint and watching stuff like this is wonderful. As tdhooge said, i hated these shows as a kid. but look what im doing now. watching it on youtube and lovin' it. lol

  • That coat!

  • Oh my God I think my head just exploded! This is great. God bless both Minnie and Liberace.

  • I love seeing music being mixed like this. It shows how we can be different and still enjoy each other. This was fun to watch.

  • What a woman! All of that "country gal gone to town to do a little tradin' an' flirtin'" act masked a really fine musician, with a powerful voice and comedic timing, who was a masterful business woman, who owned over 100 restaurants, and was a major player in real estate. She, and Liberace together- PRICELESS!

  • @vonDilly she was well educated too and not a bumpkin at all

  • @DOLLYWAYNE38 Thanks, I'm HIP!!

  • @vonDilly U r so right

  • @vonDilly So true you are right and a lot of people don't know this so when i hear people call her name I tell them where to put their head. Was a well trained actress come from the high life and fit in with the poorest of persons who came to famous after she did. She never rubbed that riches in any of the singers face. She might of been the first rich person in country music as her family did have money and she married into wealth too. But she is an all around sweet person

  • @MrWayneWhite Nice to know that she's still appreciated. It saddens me that as time goes by, less people know of the awesome talent from this era. I even understand that the Liberace museum is closing its doors due to poor attendance. Thank you and others who still relate to these talented giants.

  • Ha! Minnie Pearl and Liberace together! Who'da thunk it? Great!!

  • and to think when I was a kid I hated these shows but not I love it and wonder what ever happened to the great stuff not like what we have today.

  • People like this make me hope there actually is an afterlife. At least some of the folks there might be bearable...

  • @scooterdooter Ain't that the truth !

2 wonderful American talents. (Sad that neither one could be publicly gay.) Much love to them both !!

  • @ezywonder Ms. Minnie Pearl was never gay she was married to Henry Cannon but they had no children

  • @MrWayneWhite Since he was married, Rock Hudson must have been straight, too.

  • Respond to this video... Funny how her face reminds me of Janis Joplin...anyone else see it?

  • This is really good on Vicodin!

  • What a time to be a kid ;)

It was as crazy as it looks - but these two were AMAZING people and HUGE stars right up into the late 1980's.

  • Love it! How fun! 2 great legends, now hamming it up with angel wings.
