The only comment I have to offer is LOOK UP! Snags have branches that like to fall, especially when you're pounding away at the wedges, and all that shaking is amplified up the bole. The cut was fine.
ive been cutting in the woods for a while and as far as i can see the only thing done wrong was the guy throwing the ax hit like a little girl other than that everything looked ok
as far as ppe if your on a job that requiers it fine wear it but spaeking for someone who knows how to work a saw keep the sharp end pointing the other way and keep a mind of your area
there's nothing wrong with that fall. the only thing they could have done better was wear some PPE. I've been cutting nearly 10 years and i couldnt have done it better myself.
tell yourself you suck.. look in mirror... see a shitty cutter.. find new job.. your not a lobster... when ya loose a arm they dont grow back..fuck...
been cutting timber a long time and if you find fault with this job your the moron come to work with a real cutter or don't comment on what you don't know
cant see what the problem is , the tree went the right way , i have seen it done this way many times by professionals, doing it by the book crap does not always work, good work guys .
Although it looks like they might have cut the tree straight off the stump, the tree had a good undercut in it from what I saw. I don't think you would be able to wedge a tree that size and get it to fall without a good face in it. Looked like a good job to me
morons just morons, this is a good example of why some people don't pass the sawyers test at all. Worst way to cut down a tree. Lucky you didn't get killed or kill someone. Remeber 3 decent cuts takes down a tree easier than going right though it.
I've never cut down a tree. But i wonder why you think they didn't do a good job ? i mean the tree fell the right way, right ? Or should they have cut a V (slice) on the falling side ? Or what ?
two cooks in the kitchen do NOT make things easier, pounding wedges with a cig hanging out your mouth that is real nice

Why did you cut such a nice tree down?
SmackdownVsRaw3 3 years ago
Have you ever heard of lumber? or firewood? It is made from-get this-TREES! Nice trees work great for such things.
redlinefarms 3 years ago
Yeah, how do you know that they are using that wood for lumber. There can be another reason. I'm not an idiot.

I agree with the lucky comment. Those guys came a lot closer to getting seriously injured or killed than they seem to realize.
