It was cool how they set the setlist up to fit the outdoor venue. Underneath the Stars, Prayers for Rain, Night Like This. It was amazing!! And the encore absolutely rueld.

@Hallucination I agree 1,000%. I was at this show. It was amazing. " Killing an Arab" was amazing. I saw them 4 times that year, and this encore was by far the best.

Have you ever heard such a beautiful song? It transcends anything I have heard by the Cure before. I love all of their lush ballads, especially their b-sides like Breathe. I would put this in the same category as Breathe - deliriously beautiful. In fact, better than Breathe.

Stealthordeal - I was at the same show!!! Yeah, I was surprised at the napping too but they must have been there all day AND The Cure played for an amazingly long time! The are so professional!!! I was dancing around. Man that was a good show....

I agree. I was disgusted with so many people at Red Rocks. Way too many people nowadays have no respect for others and aren't even at the show to see the band play. They're simply there to vist and send text messages. Fucking idiots stay home! It's disrespectful to the band and the people who are truely there to enjoy the show. Nothing is worse than haveing assholes yell a conversation in front of you durring the show. Violence isn't the answer but did I ever feel like blindsiding a few people.

Just saw them last night. They were excellent. They played for 2 hours and 45 min.

It was outdoors overlooking the Columbia river in Washington and not to mention beautiful weather. The only problem was that most of the people in our area left or took a nap while they played. People were there for the other bands. Oh well, we know who the real CURE fans are. They still got it. They played a lot from the 1985-1989 era. Thanks for posting.

How was roberts voice thru the show?

Robert's voice was better than Kansas City (at least based on the videos I saw), but not 100%. He definatley held back on the high notes, but his voice was not a negative (as I had feared it would be). I am sure he will continue to improve over the next few days.
