@1337wafflezz Separation of church and state should not mean open promotion of a religion- We already have Christmas as a holiday that is nationally recognized in a way that the government buildings are closed- which is fine as many folks are christian, but asking that public schools not have open prayer is not asking for much.

The fact that neo-cons want to push for federal funding to support church causes and functions is a clear violation of the Freedom from Religion part of the Constitution...a part of the Constitution clearly ignored by Right-Wing Religious Conservatives. They should read that Amendment again, as it clearly protects both sides of the religious debate.
