lmao me and my mate used to listen to the start of this song over and over again and laugh our asses off when we was like 11/12 years old, good times, no idea why we found it so funny though years later its actually quite good tune!
@TMalliwuC Hear that badass guitar? When he lost J he lost that. He's never had anybody since then that could lay down shit like this guy could. Don't get me wrong, I still think Rob's awesome, but J made THIS sound. \m/
ULTIMATE WHITE ZOMBIE! This my favorite White Zombie tune of all time!
The voice at the beginning was lifted from the 1960's Batman TV show. The "innocent looking bookstore" was run by the character "Bookworm", played by actor Roddy McDowall, who also portrayed Cornelius and Caesar in the Planet of the Apes film series.
Be nice if you would have picked out a picture featuring Ivan dePrume instead of John Tempesta for this song, considering its dePrume and not templesta on this track
October 21st 2000, early morning, I found myself on a 2 lane highway that ran a straight line for atleast 200 miles, in the middle of the desert. Windows tinted in my '92 Sedan DeVille, tweeked to the fucking gills, I had that NorthStar V-8 wound out, doin 140-150, poundin this song on my Bose system! A perfect moment in time.
meanwhile....behind the facade of this innocent looking bookstore...........straight from the batman TV show......the episode where Vincent Price played Egghead
I swear this guy uses the double bass pedal better than anyone else. God, its always right when its perfect complement what's going on in the music, but its not constant and over bearing like in some other songs by other bands. His beats are groovie as fuck and the double bass pedal is utilized flawlessly, my favorite drummer by far
