Fact:

1) They called it a Farewell tour! if you don't believe it listen to Gene and Paul's own words! "We would rather quit while we are on top than for someone to say why don't you quit!"

2) They said they would evolve into a "New Kiss!," not a third rate cheep cover band!

3) Peter and Ace made the personalities behind the make up they wore! Eric Carr and Vinnie Vincent came up with a new personality; so should Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer! If only to be respectful

I do not really know why people hate Eric and Tommy. I mean, in my opinion I liked the fact that Ace and Peter's replacements were people who wad been in the band before. I mean, Eric drummed for KISS for the Revenge album and until the reunion tour. And Tommy was Gene's personal assistant and helped Ace in a couple of things for the Reunion tour. He even Played in the Psycho Circus Album. So in my opinion, this albums is awesome, like the other ones =]

Until 2002 when Ace left because he thought KISS was retiring after the 2002 Winter Olympics. Eric & Tommy do a good job filling the empty gap that was left in the band after Ace & Peter left KISS.

I've been a KISS fan from the very first moments of "In Concert' back in the '70s but I'm sorry, I think the creative well has finally run dry. To hear someone else copping Ace-style licks borders on sacrilege. I would have preferred to see Tommy and Eric create new characters like Vinnie Vincent and Eric Carr did. KISS is beating a dead horse as far as I'm concerned. I'll put on 'Love Gun' and listen to it 20 times before I'd spin this turd once. That Roswell Crash really skewed the time line.
