  • why was bracegirdle acting so suspicious earlier?

  • Yes we need this series back into production--it has an obvious fan base...

  • they need to revive this series, get HBO Films on it. They seem to kill it with these big, expensive miniseries.

  • bwaha. 'bugger dinner.'

  • He's going to do the proper thing and ask the Dutches for dinner! And then is shocked when she throws up. :) And he's frustrated and takes it out on Mathews. Older or not, Horatio is attracted and Hunter gets it. He tries to help Horatio out. Usually Mathews knows the right thing to say but not where women are concerned. I like Hunter's face when he stands up to Horatio! He wants to laugh but can't so he does the opposite and looks sternly at Horatio. lol :) Songs

  • why does horatios hat change all the time from like a round cone style one he has on here and wen he is in his exam and on the indy its like a half circle style?

  • He would have been great in a Herman's Hermits flick too..

  • I think Hornblower is praying to have his horn blown by the Duchess.

  • @MajBlood sounds as though you wouldn't mind it as well

  • hornblower looks evil at @5:58

  • I can't wait for them to do a similar series as the Hornblower-series for Patrick O'Brians Aubrey/Maturin-books. That Master And Commander movie did not do those books.

  • @olssonII Dude, that movie was awesome.

  • Cadiz, Cadeez vs Cadiz; Québec, kaybeck vs kwibeck (Canada); La Jolla vs la hoya (US): Cobh, cove vs cob (Ireland); Ptuj, p(e)tooee vs pawtudge (Slovenia); Hjo, you vs heh-joe (Sweden);Oaxaca, wah-haca vs oh-axaka (Mexico or Me-hi-ko); Phuket, pu-jet or pu-get or pucket (Thailand); Edinburgh, edin-BERG vs edin-burrow; Mispro's of English places would more than fill a book: Alnwick (annick vs alnwik) to Worcester (wooster vs wersester)

Amusing of my acquaintance & grand topics of conversation.

  • "fall on hope" sharpe

    "hope and a prayer" hornblower

  • @suelizjohnson You mean 'forlorn hope'.

  • @tyrannusBE Thank-you. It sounded like "fall on hope"

but " forlorn hope * " certainly makes more sense! I have

heard the term before but in a poetic sense to do with

love and such...not realising it has a double meaning.

Like the term "our lost children"....

The term "dare to die troops " is on the other hand so

    very literal.

(i.e.: * Soldiers taking part leading a military operation)

  • at 5:15 the expression on stiles' face is like 'ah he's so cute"

  • I love when Pellew says, "she's all yours"... and winces.

  • "Good luck, sir." (You're gonna need it) xD

  • @CatAtomic99 Aye. He's all of what, 18/19 and certainly not use to women. Especially a vivrant, outspoken one like this. She's use to getting what she wants. Let's hope she doesn't want Horatio. Although, I couldn't blame her. . . :) Songs

  • "How can I thank you captain Pellew?

"Not at all your race not at all."

XD you can see the grimace

  • It is very difficult to get "quality" shows here in South Africa. Please accept my thanks for posting this.

  • 4:20 IMC conditions jejejejeje

  • I know what Cadiz, is, I'm just laughing at that horrendous anglicized pronunciation. I'm pretty sure the spanish say 'CA-diece.'

  • Ca-dizz? lol

  • whats with i loled @ 3:05 loled aint a word it was lol at 3:05

  • lol can be made into past tense with a ed just like most words, therefore loled is a appropriate word!

  • I loled @ 3:05 :]

  • That was pretty funny. I loved Hornblower's face when she throws up though.

  • cherie lunghi was on "covington cross",wasn't she?
