that is Horrible For A baby i was traumatized this way as a baby it makes them feel insucure and not supported by the very people who our meant to protect Them ur baby is stressed ur not hearing ur babies stress call. Your pushing ur wans off on a baby As a Mom my natural sense i feel this is insensitive and emotionally traumatize's our children they look to us to feel safe. it feels wrong im a mother and a grandma i taught my daughter to swim age 4 she learn with compassion so she felt safe.

Guys you got it all wrong don't applaud the parents, they can't even watch their own children for sh1t, you should be applauding the child, the child endured horrendous torture, of course in the eyes of a child it's torture, applaud the child for being able to endure this course and learn to swim. Hate the parents for torturing their children. Heck why not teach your children how to use a gun, how to fight, and how to face a kidnapper situation while you're at it.
@QuanVanLuu Actually i applaud her, and yes you're soppose to teach your children how to face kidnappers and what to do if they're ever in that type of situation, teaching your kids how to defend themselfs is also a plus..However, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and its not in the best interest to have your kids growing up becoming Cynical complaining bee-otching people who are quick to judge other parents that they do NOT know.

@QuanVanLuu As a matter of fact, I have taught my kids to shoot, fight, and how to fend off a kidnapper. If someone tries it, you will hear the loud whistling noise as the wind blows through the kidnapper.
Children do not like a lot of things. They like being in their comfort zones. Shots come to mind, the word NO comes to mind, they throw tantrums all the time. This child will be swimming like a fish at the end of these lessons. Children die everyday needlessly from drowning. I applaud the parents!
This is the most terrible thing I have ever seen!!! These children will never feel safe in the water as long as they llive. You are teaching them that swimming is a terrible thing. I think this is CHILD ABUSE as much as hitting a child in the face is!!!X Shame on all of you. Parents included.
so I suppose I should teach my child how to dodge bullets also. You're clearly not interested in your childs best interest. If you 'were' interested you'd have more patience and compassion. And your child would have more fun.
Her mother and her coach are thinking that learning to swim could save her life one day. Her mother is also thinking that you are ignorant, and can't even compose a sentence with proper subject/verb agreement. I hope that your child does not have an accidental drowning because you were waiting to let him/her make their own decisions about learning to swim. As a parent it is my job to make decisions in the best interest of my child. Learning to swim early can save their lives.
That's child abuse. It's clear that the girl doesn't want to pushed in the water. This kind of activity should be voluntary. What is her mother and the coach are thinking?
