I saw it a couple of times and I have to admit, it was pretty darn cool. I saw it at night and it was even better. The music by Greenway is a HUGE part of the success. Disney gets great composers!!

Epcot is my favoprite park. It has awesome attraction. I am pissed off at Disney for taking out this and The Living Seas. The Living Seas is awesome!

I am like crying my eyes out right now. Why does Disney give us awesome attractions, then takes them away! Every time an attraction is taken out, its like someone you loved very much died. Why did this parade get taken out? Disney can be so stupid sometimes. Rest in peace all disney attractions that got taken out to put in something stupid.

OMG! This was and always will be my fav dinsey parade! I remember going there and one of the puppets shook my hand! I was soo happy! Gosh memories! I remember going there and crying my eyes out because it wasn't there! I didn't want to see any parades! All the new p[parades suck! Especially that bloke buster one in MGM!

I saw this as Tapestry of Nations (rather than Tapestry of Dreams), and that version came without the schmaltzy "I dream of riding on a dinosaur/I dream of making people happy/etc). The silent version - that allowed viewers to reflect on the real meaning behind World Showcase - was the most moving parade I've ever seen. And a few thousand tear-filled eyes each night seemed to agree. Please, Disney, if you bring this back, bring back Nations not Dreams!

I cannot remember the exact title of the album it is on but I believe it is Epcot Millenium Celebration (I bought it in 2000). I tried looking it up online and it is saying it is out of print :-( I would love to get it on CD because I don't have a tape player anymore.

I liked the new characters that this parade introduced to the Disney Family. However, the parade its self wasn't the best. There was just puppets and puppeteers. There should have been a few more Dreamseekers. No floats?? Why not?? It needs to be rethought through, then introduced again.

Thanks for posting this! I have been going to Disney for 20+ years. This was my favorite parade that they ever did. I was there for the Millennium Celebration and remember the first time I saw it being in total and complete awe. My favorite part of the parade was the drummers.

I haven't been there in about 5 years. I flipped when I went to Disney last week to find out the got rid of it.

the first night i saw this parade it instantly became one of my favorite things about disney, and i made sure to catch it every night for the rest of the trip. i went back a year later and did the same thing. the following year, i went to epcot first thing the day we got to orlando and found out the last showing of the parade was THE NIGHT BEFORE. i thought it was a joke but it wasn't. i was, and still am, in complete disbelief i'm at least thankful for youtube!!

I had one of the pendants that lit up whenever an event came by, and this was one of them. All the kids made "dream stars" at the different countries and put them in a "dream net" carried by one of the butterflies.

I guess if you'd never seen TON it would be okay, but having seen the original TON in it's glory days - 3 simultaneous teams, lighting effects, spotlights over the lagoon etc, I actually found TOD w/the squeaky cartoon voices to be annoying. Saw it once, felt no inclination to see it again. They butchered the TON soundtrack which I couldn't stand, and just generally kludged together this mess out of the carcass of TON that had none of TON's grandeur.

I saw Tapestry of Nations in July 2001, then Dreams in 2002 & 2003, that was the last yr of Tapestry of Dreams, not 2002 as one website said. That's wrong b/c I saw it on 2003! The next time I went was 2004 & it was gone, I was very unhappy it was gone & still am @ times. Bad Disney people for taking it away. :(
