Maybe it is maybe it's not. as a corvette owner myself I can guarantee you many people will wreck corvettes because you really need skill to drive one. An unskilled driver who thinks they can drive will likely wreck a vet within the first month (if not day or week) of ownership. I'm serious. You should not start to push a vette hard for at least 8 months to a year of ownership.

The ZR1 ran it at 7:19. which even beat the Ford GT, The ZR1 is lighter, has better acceleration, handles corners better, and is an overrall better car. so yeah your right it's not about top speed but in every aspect of being a supercar the vette is better. so take your slow ass car that does 'just fine' at the track and go race some dodge caravans to boost your ego.

I drove it 6 years, never once broke down, never once had a problem with it until my ex wife put sugar in my gas tank.
