Well no where does it say "just the bad ones" or 'The ones that attack you". Nadirs trying to relegate it to only one circumstance shows either his deception, or lack of knowledge. Having heard Nadir for as many years as I have, I tend to favor the later.

Theres a hadith thats very famous. It says that "in the end times even the trees that are all muslim will shout:"there is a jew behind me, kill him"

Exegesis is simply conveying what the authors meant by the text. Nadir did an eiogesis because he continually superimposed meaning on top of the text. He supported this by assertions of what it meant in ipse dixit statements. So woods argument was firm while nadir deopended on personal attacks and redherngs.

i see MayonR already replied to you, hes a friend of mine actually.. but yea if you replay the debate and pay close attention, nadir took the verse that was on debate and put his own meaning behind it, and what nadir was saying was not actually what the verse meant lol.. verses like those in the quran are not meant for a story behind them, these verses are there as rules.. like our ten commandments.. not to mention the insults "Mr. Wood your ignorant" and red herrings Nadir used.
