It's really too bad he never quoted a particular historian to support his repeated accusations of genocide. "I read it on the internet" doesn't count. We saw how well his sources agreed with his stance in the last video...
Ha ha Liar, "Christianity subdued other religions" This statement is the biggest lie and actually christianity saved Islam. The muslims were being persecuted in Mecca by the pegans and the muslims moved to Abyssinia were they were free to practice their religion. The statement christian terrorist does not exist because christianity does not command people to fight, it encourages to turn the other chick, whilst Islam commands believer to fight them until they say the shahada

Nadir is a fool, I hope he doesn't keep deceiving himself, he fabricated every argument and never once read the Koran plainly. He might have pointed out the worst part of "christian history" but were those really Christians? Nope, the Bible doesn't teach the kind of evil that was committed in those days, but look and the koran and it most certainly does promote the kind of violence we see today that continues to increase from the Muslim world, we live the evidence these days.

@hatebigots1 Spencer lost to the whole world, because he's exposed as a LIAR.
Here are the arguments that Wood never dared to address in this debate:
1.False presupposition. Christianity is an inherently peaceful and tolerant religion. However during 6th Century, Christianity was one of the most violent, intolerant and sadistic religions ever to be recorded in world history.
because of space restriction, you can the read you can see here: h t t p : / / examinethetruth . c o m / wood /
@A2Neji The debate was about whether Islam promotes peace or hatred, and woods clearly showed that if you read the Koran plainly, indeed it does teach hatred for all non-mulsims, anyone who reads the Koran will see this unless they purposefully ignore what is written. Nadir failed from the very beginning, every example he gave was twisted and unclear or taken out of context. This particular discussion was not about what Christianity teaches, that was the next debate.
@titusax Anybody who doesn't know Arabic, doesn't have the slightest idea about the science of Qura'an Tafseer, the science of Hadith, and Seera would conclude the same thing you do,. And wouldn't fully understand what Nadir is arguing. This is where Wood and ABN channel are taking you for a ride.
Wood and his channel of bigots, none of them have a degree in Islamic studies. They only go through Islamic books and hand-pick what they like, exaggerate, and tell you half truths at best.
@A2Neji Your response is a not so clever way to side step the truth. I have read the first for "sura's" or "revelations" of the Koran, and the text is very plainly hostile to any non-muslims and especially to "people of the book". It is so plain a child could understand it which is why there is so much raw hate towards America and Israel in the Muslim nations of the middle east. When we see crowds of muslims, tens of thousands shouting death to America, Death to Israel, that too is plain.
@titusax Unfortunately for you, not everything is plain to see. You're in no position to pass judgements whatsoever. Because you don't meet the criteria I mentioned earlier.
@A2Neji Still playing at games I see. Arabic doesn't matter, and from those I know who do speak Arabic the English translation is much "softer" as though those translating were trying to hide the truly barbaric text. Actions speak louder then words and the actions in the Middle east are as plain as the words I've read in the Koran, next you will tell my I have to live in the middle east to understand why Muslims persecute Jews and Christians.
@titusax Your logic and reasoning are retarded. Let's say you want something explained about your car, who do you ask? of course you should ask a mechanic. But in your case, you went off and asked a zoo keeper. Next, if you want to see actions, how about we take a look Christianity? You wiped off the native Americans, massacred civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the African trade,KKK, the crusades, 2 Million kids died because of the siege in Iraq, And the list goes on...
@A2Neji Wow, logic must not be something you looked up in a while, a "good" example would have been, me wanting to understand the directions of driving my car that was made in Japan, should I learn Japanese or trust the English translation is sufficient? or should I as my friend who speaks Japanese to explain it to me from the original instructions?
@titusax Comprehension isn't your forte, I would agree with you if it's just a matter of simple translation to a simple manual. But would you refer to the manual if you wanted to know about the intricate details, would you still consult the translated manual? No, you would either study in a qualified institute or consult a professional. This is what I meant when I said you're not qualified, you don't know Qura'an Tafseer, Fiqh, or the science of Hadeeth. Hope you can comprehend that.
@A2Neji We can keep going round and round and your indoctrination will never allow you to freely consider anything else. This is "Simple" the text is "simple" and the actions of the muslim dominate countries in the middle east back up these "simple" ideas. Now you saying that if I study at under individuals who are experts in the Koran I'll be able to go to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Libya(now under Sharia) Sudan, Arabia, Turkey and convince them to be peaceful???
@A2Neji That fact is I comprehend very easily, and under all the fast talk and tricky language "scholars" use, Islam is just like any other religion. Before you argue about what I just said consider this, ALL "Religion" promises, if you work hard enough, god will bless you and reward you. Different "religions" have different "works" but the message is always the same.
@A2Neji Now, you mentioned the Native Americans, World War 2, slave trade(muslims collected and sold the slaves to Europe and America), and a completely erroneous number of Iraqis dead due mostly to radical Islam and not UN attacks, our troops have rules that greatly reduce civilian casualties, while Islamist will hide behind the innocent while firing on our troops knowing we can not fire back. And guess what, "I" have never done any of what you said.
@titusax So when it's acts by Christians in the name of Christianity, it's no longer "..so plain a child could understand it" or "Actions speak louder then words" Now you're guilty of having double standards, and I no longer have any respect for you. You need to be consistent and choose one, either look carefully and study the circumstances, and see the arguments made by the Muslim scholars. Or be fair and condemn Christianity for the genocides done by Christians.
@A2Neji Christianity is NOT a "religion" it is a "relationship" with our Creator, Yahweh. Now, if you study the bible you would understand that the "evils" of the past committed by "christians" were not based on the what the bible teaches but rather based on "religions" that have gone under the name of "christian" Many times people never read the bible back then because they were hard to come by or people didn't read, so they were lead by someone with evil motives.
@A2Neji On the other hand, I've read many a testimony of former muslims who had the same problem, they were taught the by the Imams and Sheiks but never read the Koran, in the end when they decided what the Imam's and Sheiks were teaching was obviously not "true" Islam, they read the Koran to understand the true meaning, then they found this "radical Islam" which they thought was fabricated by the teachers was in fact what the Koran taught. Nadior is just an angry clown. His site helped me stop being muslim with his irrational crap. Jesus? Even many atheists say he was a nice man & have no problem with people imitating him!
@hatebigots1 Honestly, I want every one to have a personal relationship with Jesus, I don't care where they are at in life, I want to present that opportunity, but I consider myself blessed to live in a country where anyone is free to say no to me if they want and the worst they will experience is my sad eyes looking back at them. My biggest objection to Islam is how it started, Mohammad made it a "Join me or else" kind of a religion, and you can't make something good that starts bad.
@A2Neji So, given as I am not violent, and read the bible as is so I avoid violence as much as possible, granted I will defend my family and my country when called to do so, but mainly the most "violent" thing I do is confront people like you who try to hide the truth while promoting a violence against any who do not accept your beliefs or your ways. Should I trust the ex-terrorist who has seen the error in his ways and sought out peace or you who try to justify violence?
@A2Neji yes you can be judged by your peers, we Christians can not bring judgement to you, only God can, but we can judge you by your actions and your words period. Your Imams are brainwashing you with false information
I'm getting tired of Nadir talking about 6th Century Christians! Simply read what Jesus said and you will know that Christians ARE NOT COMMANDED TO KILL let allow hate someone!
History shows that it WAS THE CATHOLICS THAT WAS DOING THE KILLING FOR THE POPE NOT 4 JESUS!! THEY KILLED TRUE CHRISTIANS THAT WOULD NOT BOW DOWN TO THE POPE AS WELL!
It's unbelievable hahaha how can a muslims choose such a topic to debate? Kill kill kill it's all over the quran and hadiths and tafsirs and sira agree..Nadir must be drunk of some camel piss and milk, like his fake prophet told them to drink. He kept saying the debate is over, the debate is over and he's right cause he got SMOKED, big time!!!! LOL
@gsprpltv He made it up. Christian missionaries spread the gospel through Europe, Africa and even to China and Tibet during that period. They absolutely did not use force against the vastly more powerful nations of the Far East. However, during that period of time Charlemagne declared himself the Holy Roman Emperor and used violence to force worship of himself while persecuting real Christians. All the science came from Indian Vedics 2000 years earlier that Muslims tried to destroy.
Muhammad was a violent man. Look up his time frame as a "prophet" at age fifty something, after his rich wife dies. The answer is yes. Who the hell buries woman up to there neck and then stone them to dealth. Thats just one disturbing behavior. Remember Jesus killed no one and took no wife.
That Nadir is great at taqqiya (lying for Allah). By the way, that fact that there are so many Muslims when pulling out a prayer rug and sticking your patootie in the air is so unappealing, goes to show you it must have been violence that spread Islam. By the way, this was an excellent little series. May God bless you.
That Nadir is great at taqqiya (lying for Allah). By the way, that fact that there are so many Muslims when pulling out a prayer rug and sticking your patootie in the air is so unappealing, goes to show you it must have been violence that spread Islam.
i think sticking to the quran, hadith and surrah and todays state of affairs is more important than going back hundreds of years in history. this nadir was very rude in the debate. this debate would not happen in a muslim country. i think that says it all.
David, please remake this video with a proper opponent. This is no fun to watch, it's too painful to see Nadir stumble over each argument. Football analogy: Like Barcelona playing a girls team.
Shabir Ally and Bassam Zawadi are pretty good muslim debaters imo. There are good debates of Bassam Zawadi debating Thabiti Anyabwile (actually my favorite debate :-)) or Shabir Ally debating William Lane Craig, for example.
I agree with regard to Shabir Ally but am not quite surea about Zawadi. Have you seen his debate on Islam against David Wood? Some of his arguments were just horrible. However, he may have matured a bit as a debater after that. At least he did better against James White.
I think I don't really remember the debate with Zawadi you're talking about, although I watched it - I'm getting old :o)
He debated good and respectfully about "Who is God and how are we saved?" with Thabiti Anyabwile (really worth watching). I remembered him to be way better than f.e. Sami Zataari or Ali Ataie. But I'd say Shabir Ally is the only one who can keep up with quite some Christian apologets like Wood, Qureshi, White, Craig, Anyabwile - depending on the topic.
"Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go to the gardens, Following one in the center, Who eat swine's flesh(followers), detestable things and mice, Will come to an end altogether," declares the LORD. - Isaiah 66:17
and Nadir Ahmed tried to play a dirty game, which many muslims do in debates to fool others , by quoting from ibn ishaq and trying to convince those non-muslims that he quoted from a strong source ! , however when wood read it in context his argument was done!
@SeraphimSquadron Why do you say so? I mean I can see why with a bit of Catholicism being borrowed from Roman Paganism and then being "Christianized". Such as Easter or Christmas. But why do you say
"what did that have to do with the issues we're dealing with today?" lol wow, he really tries to avoid that. then switching it to American Christians? Seriously? I couldn't help but laugh. >,< Especially by how glued to his comp he was.
Well done, David. You won this hands down. I honestly don't know how you went that entire time without a fit of laughter. I'd have lol'ed when he said "Tonight's debate was a clean sweep."
The quran says, the world is divided into 2. House of islam/peace and House of War.
You are supposed to fight all till everyone is a part of the house of Islam/Peace. And thats hows the scholars say " islam is a religion of peace". The last verses from the quran are bloody violent and abrogates any peaceful verse. Infact there are Numerous more verses which David could have used. Nadir is more interested in writing his own quran rather than allowing the clear quran to speak for itself.
The quran says " Its holds good at all times" not restricted to 6th century.
If everything is 6th century based according to Nadir, then the islam is no more a valid religion after 6th century"
And even if the conditions of 6th century justify teachings of mohammed, nowhere in quran it says to kill those oppressors. its says to kill and humiliate the non believers.
WOW!!! After watching all 3 parts to the debate, I have to say any logical muslim watching this would consider leaving islam. Nadir Ahmed messed it up real bad. He had nowhere to hide. He kept repeating the same source from ibn ishak and at the end when David read it the verse was found to go against Nadir. So Nadir was done. Great job David. David 10/10. Nadir 1/10 (for showing up to the debate).
I wish they would have kept Bin Laden alive so we could have a debate between him and some western Muslim like Shabir Ally (In my opinion, the best Islamic debater) and see who sticks to the Qur'an the best. I bet people would be jumping ship rather quickly.
and the capital punishment given to those who leave islam in middle eastern countries shows that whatever the historical contexts are being argued by nadir, most of the islamic world do not agree with him
I love how Dr. Wood quoted the full source from Ibn Ishaq destroying Nadir after Nadir thought that he had a good point! HAHA. Excellent brother Wood, God bless you. A clear victory for Wood.
@dickknows It's so easy to see the embarrassment, when more Americans wake up, they are going to be very angry about being so openly lied to by Islamists
@yawar500 And you are out of your mind. Nadir looked like a complete fool. And you have to be brainwashed to jot see how Dr. Wood exposed Islam and Nadir!
I'm a Christian but I don't see how Wood won this debate. It just seemed like
Wood just repeated the verse says to kill nonbelievers. Nadir argues that the
verse is good because it ended 600 years of war and stopped the oppressive
6th century Christians. Wood never addresses this point. So how did Wood win? It looks more like Nadir won to me. He went to the Koran and quoted Chapter 4:75 about fighting for the oppressed. So doesn't that explain fighting unbelievers? How do you think Wood won ?
I guess no one but you understands your thinking. So what if they are to protect those oppressed? This isnt an "either/or" situation. Yes they are to fight for those Muslims they feel that are oppressed, but they also have to....what was David trying to drive home? Yes, that they are to kill also those that believe not in Allah or his messenger..
To most people the fact Nadir contradicts most every noted Islamic scholar shows his delusion of his own theology. Besides the personal attacks.
@OxXGarfieldXxO Well I admit I got rather confused in the debate with them going between the Koran and the Hadiths and different scholars and different interpretations of all those.
Ok I think that helps. So David says the verse says to kill unbelievers and Nadir is saying "No it's only
the bad ones." and David says "No, it says kill unbelievers. There is no distinction" and then it's
a ping pong debate on that and Nadir brings up 6th century Christians being evil as a distraction?
Well no where does it say "just the bad ones" or 'The ones that attack you". Nadirs trying to relegate it to only one circumstance shows either his deception, or lack of knowledge. Having heard Nadir for as many years as I have, I tend to favor the later.
Theres a hadith thats very famous. It says that "in the end times even the trees that are all muslim will shout:"there is a jew behind me, kill him"
Now of course thats paraphrased, but this shows till end times Muslims are to kill jews.
@mrsticky005 [[How do you think Wood won ?]] Really, all you have to do is compare nadirs argument with Woods. Nadir had no argument, as Keith Truth has said here, Nadir had assertions not arguments. But if we do look at Woods argument, he didn't provide one verse but several for each point clarifying that Allahs word is absolute and needs not to be expounded on. He then built on this by the several points clarifying what and who the fighting entails. He further provided points explaining why.
@mrsticky005 Part 2[[How do you think Wood won ?]] Further we can easily see that Wood did an excellent exegesis of the text, supported by the top, most respected commentator to support it. Exegesis is simply conveying what the authors meant by the text. Nadir did an eiogesis because he continually superimposed meaning on top of the text. He supported this by assertions of what it meant in ipse dixit statements. So woods argument was firm while nadir deopended on personal attacks and redherngs.
i see MayonR already replied to you, hes a friend of mine actually.. but yea if you replay the debate and pay close attention, nadir took the verse that was on debate and put his own meaning behind it, and what nadir was saying was not actually what the verse meant lol.. verses like those in the quran are not meant for a story behind them, these verses are there as rules.. like our ten commandments.. not to mention the insults "Mr. Wood your ignorant" and red herrings Nadir used.

Brother David has great respect for muslims and the Truth is on David's side. David never attacked Nadir's character, he only attacked his defense and interpretation of the qu'ran, David won this on the left toe and on the right thumb a la Bruce Lee! :)
It's really too bad he never quoted a particular historian to support his repeated accusations of genocide. "I read it on the internet" doesn't count. We saw how well his sources agreed with his stance in the last video...

Should I trust the ex-terrorist who has seen the error in his ways and sought out peace or you who try to justify violence?

I'm getting tired of Nadir talking about 6th Century Christians! Simply read what Jesus said and you will know that Christians ARE NOT COMMANDED TO KILL let allow hate someone!
History shows that it WAS THE CATHOLICS THAT WAS DOING THE KILLING FOR THE POPE NOT 4 JESUS!! THEY KILLED TRUE CHRISTIANS THAT WOULD NOT BOW DOWN TO THE POPE AS WELL!
May God help us and open their eyes to the Truth!

LOL

gsprpltv 5 months ago 2
Where does Nadir get his story about 600 years of unbridled religious warfare under the Romans?
gsprpltv 5 months ago
@gsprpltv He made it up. Christian missionaries spread the gospel through Europe, Africa and even to China and Tibet during that period. They absolutely did not use force against the vastly more powerful nations of the Far East. However, during that period of time Charlemagne declared himself the Holy Roman Emperor and used violence to force worship of himself while persecuting real Christians. All the science came from Indian Vedics 2000 years earlier that Muslims tried to destroy.
MarkProffitt 4 months ago
He said that Christians were waging war for 600 years? Given that Christianity became the official religion of Rome by 380 A.D.
David refuted every single thing Nadir and he still thinks he won the debate?

May God bless you.

i think sticking to the quran, hadith and surrah and todays state of affairs is more important than going back hundreds of years in history. this nadir was very rude in the debate. this debate would not happen in a muslim country. i think that says it all.

David, please remake this video with a proper opponent. This is no fun to watch, it's too painful to see Nadir stumble over each argument. Football analogy: Like Barcelona playing a girls team.

Shabir Ally and Bassam Zawadi are pretty good muslim debaters imo. There are good debates of Bassam Zawadi debating Thabiti Anyabwile (actually my favorite debate :-)) or Shabir Ally debating William Lane Craig, for example.
mawa89g 5 months ago
@mawa89g
I agree with regard to Shabir Ally but am not quite surea about Zawadi. Have you seen his debate on Islam against David Wood? Some of his arguments were just horrible. However, he may have matured a bit as a debater after that. At least he did better against James White.
HaecceitasQuidditas 5 months ago
@Haecceitas

Nadir is more interested in writing his own quran rather than allowing the clear quran to speak for itself.
crusaderrules 5 months ago
The Quran says " its clear"
The quran says " Its holds good at all times" not restricted to 6th century.
If everything is 6th century based according to Nadir, then the islam is no more a valid religion after 6th century"
And even if the conditions of 6th century justify teachings of mohammed, nowhere in quran it says to kill those oppressors. its says to kill and humiliate the non believers.
Nadir, What a waste of life.

Christians always use Muhammad as an argument that Islam is a false.
Muslims always use Hitler (Nazism) as an argument that Christianity is false.
So Muhammad is the same level as Hitler.
Muslims never use Jesus (in the Bible) as comparison with Muhammad.

How do you think Wood won ?
mrsticky005 5 months ago
@mrsticky005
"...stopped the oppressive 6th century Christians."
Who were the Chistians oppressing?
daome2012 5 months ago
@daome2012 According to Nadir...basically everyone. I take it with a grain of salt. But I go along with that premise just for the sake of argument.
mrsticky005 5 months ago
I guess no one but you understands your thinking. So what if they are to protect those oppressed? This isnt an "either/or" situation. Yes they are to fight for those Muslims they feel that are oppressed, but they also have to....what was David trying to drive home? Yes, that they are to kill also those that believe not in Allah or his messenger..
To most people the fact Nadir contradicts most every noted Islamic scholar shows his delusion of his own theology. Besides the personal attacks.
OxXGarfieldXxO 5 months ago
@OxXGarfieldXxO Well I admit I got rather confused in the debate with them going between the Koran and the Hadiths and different scholars and different interpretations of all those.
Ok I think that helps. So David says the verse says to kill unbelievers and Nadir is saying "No it's only
the bad ones." and David says "No, it says kill unbelievers. There is no distinction" and then it's
a ping pong debate on that and Nadir brings up 6th century Christians being evil as a distraction?
mrsticky005 5 months ago
Well no where does it say "just the bad ones" or 'The ones that attack you". Nadirs trying to relegate it to only one circumstance shows either his deception, or lack of knowledge. Having heard Nadir for as many years as I have, I tend to favor the later.
Theres a hadith thats very famous. It says that "in the end times even the trees that are all muslim will shout:"there is a jew behind me, kill him"
Now of course thats paraphrased, but this shows till end times Muslims are to kill jews.
OxXGarfieldXxO 5 months ago
@mrsticky005 [[How do you think Wood won ?]] Really, all you have to do is compare nadirs argument with Woods. Nadir had no argument, as Keith Truth has said here, Nadir had assertions not arguments. But if we do look at Woods argument, he didn't provide one verse but several for each point clarifying that Allahs word is absolute and needs not to be expounded on. He then built on this by the several points clarifying what and who the fighting entails. He further provided points explaining why.
MayonR 5 months ago
@mrsticky005 Part 2[[How do you think Wood won ?]] Further we can easily see that Wood did an excellent exegesis of the text, supported by the top, most respected commentator to support it. Exegesis is simply conveying what the authors meant by the text. Nadir did an eiogesis because he continually superimposed meaning on top of the text. He supported this by assertions of what it meant in ipse dixit statements. So woods argument was firm while nadir deopended on personal attacks and redherngs.
MayonR 5 months ago
