In my honest opinion this show is awful, animation is lazy and ugly, it has bad, generic dialogue, terrible voice acting, generic characters, no remarkable music, and lame humor. episode plots aren't that interesting, but at least they aren't cliche or overused. but that isn't enough to redeem itself, compared to Phineas and Ferb, this show is nothing.

@dryspud: In the original tale, baloo was the easily distracted mentor who imparted knowledge to mowgli (though he came off like a know-it-all show-off), whereas bagheera was the buddy who was paid closer attention to detail, kaa was the vain python who probably cared more about his next meal than helping the man cub survive but he was there when it mattered, & shere khan was the vengeful antagonist who had a beef with humanity since his kitten years.

@lummy93 There is skill in computer animation. There are good and bad examples of both computer generated and traditional paper animation. Tv animation is more limited then feature and has less of a budget so often the quality is not the same. You may no prefer it, which is fine, but it doesn't mean time and skill were not put into it.

It looks good so far. Not keeping quite with the books but better than Disney's version by far. It at least looked like they read the book or watched a more faithful film version at some point anyway. Wonder if Kaa will show up.
