Your videos have inspired my wife and I to have my 5 year old son seek this treatment.
Yesterday he was given his 1st IV that contained: phospholipids, glutathione (an intracellular antioxidant), folic acid and vitamin M-B12.
This is "The combo". According to the DR. we should see some results within 2 weeks. And obvious results in a month or so. What we've noticed in Thomas is that he now has a runny nose (sudden allergies). Can this be the beginning of a "de-tox" process?
Wow! He looks almost "normal" now-for lack of a better word!!! If I didn't know his history, I could easily think that this boy was simply a little bit shy or reticent, at first. However when I look/listen a bit more he still does seem like he has neurodevelopmental issues (and he's at a good age for related therapies), and auditory processing problems.
Phil this video was incredible!!! I can't believe how much he talks and how in depth he describes his feelings about trying new foods, how foods can make him gag, ECT. The music and effects are amazing. I've been having a lot of "issues" with B and my whole situation. He has regressed a lot because of his diet. Someone has been feeding him breads and cheeses, causing him to stim. Hoping to post a video of his regression soon, just so ppl can see the difference a diet can make. WELL DONE!
Hey PHil I watched this one again. Here at the beach we have sand hills, big ones. It's cool the kids slid sown them on snowboards and sled things .funny.
Jake is progressing very well! My son has a huge problem with beans, we try every few months but I don't think he will ever eat them. I think they are too mushy for him!! Thanks for posting this video!
EXCELLENT VIDEO.... The music is so calming... He is so smart. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing the joys of your son with us... I find your videos very informing. 5 stars jake and a fav of mine too!!!
Good Job!!! He is doing so good. Thanks for sharing. We just got our daughter to try different fruits this year for the first time in her life. She is 15! We reward and praise her for trying whether she swallows or not. Good message!
when my son was small we had a horrendous time trying to get him to eat. i remember when an apple, a tablespoon of porridge and a slice of salami was a good day. i read that it can take kids up to 19 times to accept and trust new foods. we were patient and now he eats anything put in front of him. i think you are doing just fine jake and i think your dad is very proud of you!! i'm a grown up and i still can't eat pink food!!
Your son looks great! The last video I saw was the one where you call him over to sing a little song (I think). He's improved even since then! Way to go, super dad! I love that he did the video instead of you. Nice.
If we even try and pressure Trav into new foods he goes into meltdown mood.We just serve up asmall amount of what we have & something he likes. He doesnt eat our food but we have at least got him to allow other foods on his plate. and His sensory input for taste is really strong as even watching us eat some foods make him gag. BTW--- Please show Jake this or tell " Jake Rocks"
Great strategies your using with Trav! Thanks for sharing them...I will tell Jake that you five starred and Faved this...he is really into how many views he gets and how many ratings! lol
He will say to me "maybe when we get home we can see how many ratings I got on my weight lifting video".
It's so funny how much he has become a ham for the camera when I turn it on him.
Yeah man, Niagra Falls is really just wild looking. The whole atmosphere is great...as you walk up you have all this mist and raindrops in the air from the falls and theres rainbows in the air and the loud sound of the water...its just a trip.
Great video. I think Jakes advice would be good for any parent. A lot of children have difficulty in trying new foods and pressuring them can have the opposite effect.
Oh my gosh, I will take any advice on getting my son to try new foods. He's been eating the same 4-5 things for the past 3yrs now. Everyday I make him a plate with the rest of the family. Just in case he might want to swing by the table and try a bit. We never pressure him because if we do that he runs off screaming. His pre-school teachers have been doing the same for him. I'm always so worried that he wont get the nutritin he needs to be healthy.
But his doctor says he looks excellent (hes in the top 10% of the tallest and weight wise for his age). The only way I can get him to take in fruit and veg. is by juicing it, that is when I add in his multi vitamins and omega-3's.

thank you Jake for those inspirational and in-depth words helping parents to understand their children.
the words love is kind and patient are so very apt when it comes to dealing with any child not just one who is autistic - thank you :D
