Thanks for the video. I'm coming to Dallas next year so this was very useful for me. However, just one quick point.... you're talking as though Oswald definitely killed Tippit. This is highly disputed to say the least. Plus, citing Markham as a witness is also a mistake because even though she was a witness her testimony is invalid due to her varying accounts of what happened. I, and millions of others, seriously doubt that LHO killed anyone.
I enjoy all of the comments this post has received over the years. I had a cold and couldn't quite get the 'd' on Oswald. I didn't invent the timeline, just went with something I found online. Hope to go back and revisit.
a timeline would've been a nice touch. Like how long it would take from TBSD to get to the rooming house. Then, how long it would take to walk from there to the Tippet murder scene, et. al. Just a thought. BUt thanks for the video.
@leftyntx You're incorrect. Oswald was charged by the Dallas Police with the assassination of President Kennedy at 11:26pm, Friday, November 22, 1963 by complaint # F-154. ~ Reclaiming History, Vincent Bugliosi, page 182.
@leftyntx definitly Right Sir .......Oswald was charged, in the first time, for the slaying of J.D.Tippit ....He told so to the newsmen in the corridors of the DPD !!!!
I appreciate you posting this. I've lived in Dallas all my life and have never given much thought to the whole JFK/Lee Harvey Oswald developments, other than the major story, which was the assassination of the President. It is interesting to know where certain events took place, esp. since they are places I have seen/passed by in the past.
This is the house of my best friend. This house was owned by her grandmother, then her mother and now her. She is gracious and allows tours. That is her precious dog on the porch. I grew up around there.
Oswald shot Tippet. Nine eyewitesses either saw him do it or saw him running away with the gun in his hand. When the police took Helen Markham down to the station, they accidently put her in the same elevator as Lee Oswald whom they had just brought in. As soon as she saw Oswald, she began screaming and crying hysterically in terror. It was the greatest and surest identification of all time...
@TheXiantruth It was clearly a pre-determined meeting spot with his handler. Likely Oswald believed that, at this meeting in the Texas theater, his handler would tell him what to do next, be it leave the country or stay put. Instead he shows up and falls right into their trap whereby the police arrest him for the President's murder.
@TheXiantruth how about your explanation of why he entered without paying ? he had more than enough money to buy a ticket - he knew the cops would be called - would he want to be in custody if he had just shot kennedy + a dallas cop ??? i think not. oswald was set up - the evidence is overwhelming.
@thecrazysouthsx policeman walks up to the theater cashier: " have you seen anyone suspicious around here?..." "Well..not really" she replied"...wait...I thought it very strange that this guy came into the movie after it was half-way over...that's all."
"What did he look like? " said the cop.
Next question?
Overwhelming evidence. Personally I think there's overwhelming evidence
that Papa Smurf killed Bobby Kennedy. Want to hear about it?
@TheXiantruth I'm a private citizen, like you and others reading this. I've been reading anything and everything even remotely connected with JFKs murder since 1965. For almost 40 years I haven't believed Oswald was involved. Don't you dare call me a freak. I wont spell out what I want to call you. Suffice it to say that you know nothing. As for Oswald in the theatre, it can't possibly be explained well enough for you to understand in this choked little forum called YouTube. -CONTINUED-
@TheXiantruth Again, there just isn't enough space here to make any reasonable sense or convince someone like you. That is NOT a cop out. And again, I've been looking at this for more than 40 years. You'll need an above average understanding and knowledge of human psychology, world political history, American history, American psychology... yada, yada, yada!!! If you have an open mind you might get it in a year or so of study. It's not hard to understand if you don't jump to conclusions.
@mrfester42 Yes, there are psychological aspects to the crime. Many are overlooked, (except the one where Lee Oswald is referred to as an "angry lone nut"). Yes, discernment is needed to look into JFK's murder. Many people underestimate "power" and what can happen if it is misused. When an asassination occurs in another country, the media in the US will call it a "coup". When it happens here, the "angry lone nut" scenerio is the generic reason.
@TheXiantruth Stubborn minds easily dismiss a few pieces of information, like you dismiss the jagged little bits here. Here's an anecdote that SHOULD make more Americans think but sadly, I've tried and mostly it doesn't. A European friend of mine explained that most Europeans who are aware of the JFK mystery say one big aspect is that Americans refuse to believe that their sacred government could be involved in something that has always gone on throughout history. We're blind, they say.
@TheXiantruth Most people in the world who aren't American who know of the mystery have no trouble at all thinking that it's a very real possibility that the US government did this. They can't understand why Americans are blind to the possibility. In the three short entries that I just made here, I couldn't possibly convince you with facts. I've had countless long conversations presenting facts to people who still refuse to believe. The perpetrators knew this American psychology very well.
@TheXiantruth You'll need an attention span longer than the time it would take to read 1 or 2 books on the subject to see that Oswald wasn't even remotely involved. You'll need to curb the impulse to jump to conclusions after reading only 5 books on the subject. You'll think you'll have learned enough to see what SEEMS obvious. You'll NOT have learned enough. Maybe after reading about 20 books on the subject you'll recognize how it wasn't impossible after all to keep the WHOLE truth hidden.
So, again, don't you dare call me a freak. You know nothing about JFKs assassination except for the fact that JFK was shot and killed. That is all you know! Lincoln was correct. "You CAN'T fool all of the people all of the time." He was also correct when he said, " You can fool some of the people some of the time." That's all you need to succeed with a lie of such import. Most of the people is still "some" of the people. You've been successfully fooled. What does that make you?
Just curious but how do they know that that was the seat Oswald sat in? Did some member of staff put a chalk mark on it as Oswald was being dragged out of the theater? Because at that point in time the staff only knew that he didn't pay for a ticket on the way in. My guess is that they just picked a seat close to where he sat and said yeah that's the one. Enjoyed the clip very much though thanks.
Hey, check out the Socrates Johnson video for the song 'Rambler Man', which tells the story of Roger Craig - who saw what he said was Oswald being picked up shortly after the assasination in a Rambler Station wagon.
Part of it is filmed from the old Court House Building and Dealey plaza
I roamed all over that part of Oak Cliff back in the mid 60's and went past that house and watched movies in the Texas Theater on weekends all of the time... That house looks just as did back then also. You can see the back of W.H.Adamson high school at the beginning of the video... It will be demolished soon.. The country has changed so much for the bad since JFK was assassinated but some how the house that Lee Harvey Oswald rented a room in hasn't changed . There's something ironic about that
His real name was Alex Hidell. And he got himself into some real, serious, shit - being apprehended for a US Presidential assassination, no less, to say absolutely nothing about being suspected of shooting dead a Dallas police officer. Its one thing to be arrested and arriagned on burglary, armed hold-up, malicious wounding, murder, and whatever else - all serious enough in Texas - but to be the arrestee which they're looking at for a Presidential assassination, well, that's just over the top !
We never had interviews of other individuals living in this rooming house at the time ! their list was never known ? like the patrons present in the Texas theatre when he got arrested ? why ?
Really like your camera POV walking through the area. I've lived in DFW a long time but never traced the steps as you have. You should give tours. So cool you got to see inside the rooming house.
I have lived in oak cliff since I was born. I have heard about the assasination and have seen on a few documentaries and I have not heard or seen anything saying Oswald shot tippings so I will do my own research better but good video.
Since you live in the area........did you try timing Oswalds travel from TSBD to the rooming house and then the walk upto the st. where Officer Tippit was reported to have been murdered. I dont know how far Oakcliff is from TSBD. JFK supposedly assn.@12:30-38..... Could he have done the shooting; hid the rifle, get home; get the gun&do all those other things&be in the church on time.........I know theatre. LOL. Just wondering.
Funny, I went there and did the same thing. I did not video, I just snapped. I was with someone who was very nervous about being in a far away state and going to people's homes. When it is adventure time, it is adventure time! The guy at the Texas Theater told me that Oswald's seat was removed and it is where the audio stuff is at. I went in June.
What an interesting video! I'm reading an Oswald biography now for the first time (McMillan) and this fits right in. Nice to know the house remains in the ownership of the same family. It's a shame that almost 50 years after the assassination, there is still so much contention about "who" and "what," as evidenced by the other comments here. Regardless of who did it, has anyone ever theorized as to why Tippitt was shot--or checked the record as to what movie was playing at the Texas Theater?
Look at the new Wikipedia entries on the CIA's ce399 magic bullet. Instead of the usual side view (it was only that picture for decades), we now see the "same" bullet with a flattened rear, and a "pixel" deleted front side to represent damage.
-
But, if you can understand top-side-end views of the same object, the flattened rear of the bullet must show a flair-out or dove tail inward on the side view, depending on how the side view is turned.
Shaun you should have timed your walk. But that was wonderful going inside the theatre
well done mate! You should have gone up to the balcony and checked the exits ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what I would have done. Lol. No thanks for it mate thats a great glimpse inside!
Great video. Thank you for doing that. Oswald has always been compelling to me in the information and disinformation about him that has been put out about him. One of the most interesting, and telling, facts is that in the history of assassinations of high profile leaders, the assassin always bragged about it or proclaimed it as doing the world a service. Oswald not only didn't proclaim it, he said he was a patsy. I consider that very telling.
The problem here is that Oswald did not shoot Tippit. Eyewitnesses discount that.
-
Helen Markham originally said that the shooter was short, heavy, and with bushy hair. She change her "mind" under pressure.
-
The same description was given by Acquila Clemmons. She was visited by a man wearing a gun, who told her to keep her mouth shut or she might get hurt. Ms. Clemmons was never called to testify before the Warren Commission.
@10Faenor : I agree, and think there are other issues with the JD Tippit killing that do not point to Oswald. I don't exactly remember the details, but either the four shell casings recovered from the Tippit murder did not match each other (one was a different caliber) or they did not match the gun Oswald had on him when captured at the theatre.
If the shell casings matched Oswald's handgun were ballistics ever done on the bullets that killed Tippit to match them to Oswald's handgun? Ruby's?
@10Faenor Ted Callaway, Sam Guinyard, Barbara Davis, Virginia Davis, Domingo Benavides and William W. Scoggins. It was actually 6 other than markham. Oswald walked within 12 feet of scoggins who was in his cab, clearly seeing his features and hearing him utter "poor damn cop". Minutes later oswald was seen in Brewer's shoe store avoiding the police on the street then ducking into the theatre. You wont find most of these names in conspiracy books because they slam dunk oswld as the killer.
@jacktorse28 Why did the DPD police threaten Domingo not to talk about the description being different than Oswald?
-
Further, Domingo's father-in-law, J.W. Jackson, was unimpressed with the DPD over Eddy's death. 2 weeks later Jackson was shot and wounded at in his home. As the gunman drove away, a police car coming down the block made no attempt to follow the gunman. Instead, Jackson said he was advised, "You'd better lay off of this business. Don't go around asking question; that's our job."
@10Faenor I dont know anything about these murder/shootings of benavides/father in law. Yes, D. Benavides did describe his impressions of the back of his hairline being square ect., however he was giving his impressions of Oswald . Have you read his testamony? Because nowhere in his testamony, which he signed off as being authentic, does he mention that this discription is "different" than that of oswald.
Benavides said the killer only resembled newspaper pictures of Oswald, but was different: "I remember the back of his head seemed like his hairline sort of went square instead of tapered off, it kind of went down and squared off and made his head look flat in back."
Domingo said he was repeatedly threatened by police, and told not to talk about what he saw.
-
In 1964 his brother Eddy, who resembled him, was murdered. Police wrote up a cursory report and marked the case "unsolved."
@10Faenor You left off the warren commision too. That's where i got the actual names. I suppose ALL SIX witnesses other than markham, six people who were just going about their lives who happen to see this are liars too. Hmm sounds likely. Let's believe Acquila Clemmons, whom Mark Lane discovered
(go figure) and not the other 6 who swore under oath that oswald was the assassin. Dont ever let facts get into the way or it will ruin a facinating conspiracy.
@10Faenor You are wrong on both statements. First, during the interview with Markham, Mark Lane, who apparantly from some source had heard that Markham had described the gunman that way, asked three (3) times if the gunman was "short, heavy, and with bushy hair". Each time she denied it. Second, Clemmons was the ONLY OF ALL THE WITNESSES who claimed that there were two men involved in the shooting. That sole fact strongly questions her credibility.
@10Faenor Remember, Clemmons never saw the actual shooting, questioning who she really saw as people came running from all directions after Oswald had fled the scene. In Rush to Judgement, her statement about a man with some CAMERAS that was trying to talk to her was not included in the documentary. Could that maybe have been a reporter that Clemmons turned into a lawman? Considering her earlier inconsistent statements, this could be true.
@10Faenor Wow, didn't know that truth hurt you so bad that you have to insult people.
Apparantly, you haven't read the transcript of the interview. Maybe you should give it a try and you will see that Markham denied the description Lane asked for.
Don't you think that a chased murderer would look messed up? Remember, Benavides TESTIFIED that Oswald was the shooter. In summary, you should know all that if you have studied the assassination. Apparantly, you live in a phantasy world.
@Streiff77 Markham was intimidated and lied for the conspiracy. Lane taped it and gave it to the wc assholes. They never said Lane was lying to them or prosecuted him over this. It was just ignored.
Benavides never IDed Oswald was the killer.
"...his hair didn't taper off, ...down and squared off...made his head look fiat in back". Complexion"...a little bit darker than average". "...asked me if I could identify him, and I said I don't think I could".
@10Faenor Intimidated? Says who? Once again, Markham never gave the description. REMEMBER, she identified Oswald in the police lineup as the one who killed Tippit, and so did five other witnesses. You are escaping that fact, only to accentuate separate witness testimonies that gives discrepancy to the actual majority of witnesses, that apparantly, you are avoiding to explain. It is a common fact that witnesses will descripe events slightly different. However, not in the conspiracy world!
@10Faenor Already?? She pointed him already out at the police lineup! Don't you think she would get the question that she indeed pointed him out just after the shooting??
Your arguments are so lame with no base on facts whatsoever that all you can come up with is bad language. Didn't you get enough attention when you were a child? Haha!
@10Faenor You don't know much. Read the police reports! You keep on ignoring them.
It seems clear to everyone here that you keep talking about your own experiences, instead you keep insulting people with them. "Nibbling on your moms crack cocaine", etc. No wonder your arguments are foolish. Maybe you should go back to your moma and cry and ask her to buy you a bigger dildo.
@Streiff77 You don't know much. Read how bogus are those police reports. You keep ignoring that. No wonder you maintain the foolish arguments for the wc report.
Be careful when you pull your moms rented dildo out of your ass. Make sure you have a pan under it, so that your brains don't ruin the carpet.
@10Faenor You haven't come up with one single evidence that supports your theory. The minute you started to use words like "mom", "crack cocaine" and "dildo" partly just showed everyone your own complex, partly your own frustration. Time to grow up or crawl back to your sandbox.
@Streiff77 You have not one shred of evidence that the local DPD did not threaten or cajole witnesses about their information and what they had seen. Witnesses did say they were threatened.
Your frustration at not being a convincing liar continues to show. The minute you stop shooting up your moms rock cocaine and unplug her rented dildo form your ass, you may start to think clearly. In the meantime, go seek psychiatric help with your lying and other mental problems.
@10Faenor You say this and that but you can't come up with any evidence. Just show everyone here those evidence you are talking about. Since you cannot, this debate is over and you have lost.
You are the one who need help, not having the ability to keep a normal debate without starting to talk about "rock cocaine, "rented dildo" and who knows what.
Your insults say more about your own experience with things than anything else.
@10Faenor 10 witnesses, including Helen Markham, identified Oswald as the shooter. Acquila Clemmons is famous for saying she saw two men run away from the scene of the crime. But she is the only person who claims this. Was this second man invisible to the other witnesses. Not to mention that Clemmons was all the way down at the end of the block and almost certainly was witnessing the aftermath, where a few of the witnesses came to tend on Tippit.
@JohnDavidStutts1 In other words, Acquilla can not be correct because you believe there was no conspiracy. Even though proof exist everywhere. BTW, is Gay Edgar Hoover your hero?
@10Faenor No, she is not correct because not one of the other witnesses, of which there were nearly a dozen, corroborates seeing two men murder Tippit. And if proof of conspiacy exists anywhere, then I am sure you will be glad to list some of that proof for everybody. And regardless of his supposed sexual proclivities, J Edgar Hoover is no hero of mine.
Good job - I've visited each of these sites during a visit to Dallas - did not have a video camera with me but I wish I had. I can't believe you got to go inside the theater.
Thanks for posting this. Seeing the room where he stayed must've been interesting. Sure helps make it clear to me he wasn't part of some conspiracy, I mean come on, the guy lived like a pauper in what amounted to a closet, making a buck twenty five an hour. Not a big time hit man, just a punk loser with a rifle and a silly notion of his own greatnesss.
So he chose to live here as a roomer (strange the landlady would not provide curtains/rods in the room since the rest of it was furnished and it was her house/responsibility - if he was planning an assassination wouldn't he want privacy well before 11/22/63???) under an altered name 6 weeks prior to the assassination and also started his job at TSBD building at the same time. I heard that he got his revolver and jacket and left his wedding ring/money behind.
Good video.....LHO, uilty as allegely charged....why did he resit arrest in the Movie House? Putted a gun and tried to fire it?? Witnesses have stated!
@steveforsane -- Could it be because LHO realized he had been set-up as the fall-guy, & NO WAY would he ever stay alive to see trial? With more than a dozen cops sprung on him, he might have been so despairing & desperate as to go down shooting. It's inexplicable that Oswald would draw unnecessary attention by sneaking into the theatre -- that was prob. done by a double to 'justify' a mass police response. The mystery of WHO first described the alleged shooter has NEVER been explained. Hmm ...
Did you get a chance to talk to Tippit's gal pal, or her husband. Did you ever figure out why Warren Commissioner Dulles was asking about Tippit's involvement in narcotics?
Why did Oswald go back out wandering around with a revolver. Surely if you shot the President you would lie low and keep off the streets. Why did Tippit pull him up? Did he know him? Was he under instructions? Why was Tippit so agitated, could just be he was on high alert after hearing of the assassination, but why would they send all police cars to dealey plaza. surely makes more sense to set up a road block around the city.
Shutterbun2 is editor at Wikipedia who got Judyth Vary Baker's biography deleted few days ago. He said Baker had no evidence tho he looks up her references & knows she has living witnesses on film & so on. He supports lying videos like this one on YouTube. Keep track of these guys. I got to know Baker in Sweden bought her old computer & got picked on (thought I was her). I now fight for Oswald. Shutterbun2 lies, don't trust. Witnesses to Tippit murder who disagree are Ignored n this video. A.M.
Travesty that they have "JFK" posters all over the theatre because that film actually makes that motherless fuck look empathetic. The biggest motherfucker in the 20th Century America and not only does 80% of America feel like he's not to blame there are actually people that feel sorry for him. The best consolation in the world is that he died about the most painful death you can give someone and he did it without any opiates. Rot in hell you fucking scumbag.
Terrific video. I've seen still photos of these areas, but the video, along with your live narration give it a great "you are there" feeling. Ironic that "JFK" is being shown at the Texas Theater. I assume you made this during one of the anniversaries of the assassination. Great job!
And yes, seeing the seat in the theater is freaky, I wonder how many times the theater staff have to reupholster if from crazed fans who cut pieces out of it thinking they are getting "an original piece of history..."
Thank you, Mr. Williams, for this account - I have often wanted to take this walking tour myself, so this was great, I have ever only seen stills, & largely old B & W ones. Too, NOW I understand why, in "JFK," Erlene says "Do you want to look at televison, mister Lee?" I thought that odd, but if he was going by "O.H. Lee," that makes sense. On a lighter note, ever since I ALWAYS say "Do you want to LOOK at television"- (rather than WATCH) it is quaint, and the only GOOD part from that film!
Imagine if it was JFK's wife Jackie, that shot this man dead instead of ruby. She decides to go watch him be put in jail and when she waits for the cops to bring him she runs up to him and pulls a pistol from her pink purse and shoots him in the heart.Imagine if that happened?
last movie I saw the Texas Theater was in 89 beliieve it was called Dream A Little Dream, the one withthe two Coreys,my sister was a big fan at the time
For YEARS I read every conspiracy book on JFK assassination. I would read them 2 or 3 times over. Then I realized that they can't all be right. There were up to 30 different groups or individuals who killed the President??? I finally read the Warren Report and then Vincent Bugliosi book "Reclaiming History." Oswald acted alone and killed both Kennedy and Tippit. Case Closed.
You are so right! I finally came to the conclusion that all those theories were just cash cows for those that made them up. My grandfarther told me once that if you tell a big enough lie people will believe it and I think that truism applies here. Also Bugliosi was right when he said in his book that conspiracy theorist hold their views as a religion and no matter what evidence you show them to prove them wrong they refuse to believe it.
go watch "Rush to Judgement" and "The Men who killed Kennedy" the banned chapters.Ruth & Michael Paine were CIA associates who got him the job at the TSBD
Oswald did it. Do some independent, original source material research. Go to dealey plaza. the kennedy library. the national archives. interview witnesses yourself. stop reading xonspiracy bunk books, which are full of lies to deceive and make money. stop being a sheep. wake the fuck up, little child.
very good question! it was a double billing " Cry of the Battle" starirng Van Heflin and "War is Hell" with Dorothy Malone . About the number of patrons ?? the list of their names ( 14 according Robert Groden) was, according to me, NEVER published, but if you have the opportunity buy the excellent Robert Groden "in the search of Lee Harvey Oswald" which is the best ever written about the tragic events, specially the arrest of Lee in the Texas Theatre. Was J.Ruby present at the theatre ?no answer?
The only problem with this video is that no one ever identified Oswald as Tippit's killer. In fact, he had never been tried, much less convicted of the crime.
The only problem with your 'theory' is that that were eye witnesses who identified Oswald as the shooter. If he didn't murder Tippit why did he try to kill the arresting officer in the theatre?
So you're not only misinformed you're fucking WRONG.
You are misinformed my friend. NO witness identified Oswald and Helen Markham - the only one to ID him AFTER she was told to, was later discredited. However, most witnesses don't recall Mrs. Markham being there at the time of the shooting. Oswald did not try to "kill" the police, he just saw that he was clearly set up at that point. You way of over describing events is laughable. You need to READ ACTUAL witness testimony and you will READ that people describe people other than Oswald...
Sorry for turning this into another "conspiracy discussion" but n0gar, several people DID identify Oswald as Tippit's killer in police lineups, as well as through photographs.
Not outright and not at first. There are many others who describe someone other than Oswald - in fact most do. If you read actually statements instead of taking other's opinions as fact, you might see another side of things. Doing that is what made me first realize that something WAS up.
@jacktorse28: Taken from 10Faenor: "Benavides also said the killer had curly (bushy) hair and did not look like Oswald. You know that." Once I read his statement, THAT is when I said that he is NOT describing Oswald. If he had, I would have assumed Oswald and ended it. Most described the lookS of Cubans - or even Jews! Combine that with Domingo's brother getting shot and many witnesses being told to shut up by cops or FBI, it can't be coincidence. Why would people make this up?
The line ups were a sick joke. And photographs after Oz was murdered and his picture was in every newspaper and after he was publicly declared Tippit's killer.
A sick joke? You really think the DPD was simply willing to frame some innocent guy, rather than be sure to convict the true killer of one of their own?
Few of the witnesses at the lineups had ANY doubt whatsoever that LHO was the man. And if the lineups were indeed a farce, it's only because LHO's own behavior during them tended to incriminate himself.
A documentary "The Thin Blue Line" showed the cops did frame an innocent man for the murder of one of their own. Wade office was frameup factory. Blame the victim Oz for protesting the horrible lineups. The Dallas police had total control over the lineups. When Dulles asked about Tippits involvement in "narcotics" what was he talking about.? The cops in Dallas were considered so corrupt, Fed law enforcement would not share intelligence with them since it was they were so compromised.
Interesting point about the Randall Adams case. One point of interest: Guy(Gus) Rose was involved in both cases, as far as interrogation of the suspect.
That's definitely food for thought. But while there are a number of similarties(routine traffic stop in West Dallas, more or less similar to Oak Cliff) there are also some significant differences. (very little forensic evidence in Adams/Harris case, very questionable eyewitnesses)
Still you're right, they had the wrong guy in a signal 19.
Well no because there were already reports on the radio saying the police had shut down the Texas School Depository building. So he was the only one in the lineups saying that he worked in the that building. That was what people were basing there decisions on.
thank you - these conspiracy nut jobs read lies, and regurgitate them because they are too lazy to do independent research themselves. they have a preconceived notion, and ignore anything to the contrary. It's anti-intellectual and pathetic.
No one identified Oswald as Tippit's killer? Are you fucking kidding/ Have you read a single legitimate thing on the assassination? Clearly you haven';t, you addle brained liar. Rofl no one, eh? unfuckingbelievable.
Instead of reading books, why don't you read actual witness statements and THEN ask yourself if the people the witnesses describe fit Oswald or some Cuban types. Either way no one describes Oswald. The key witnesses said that they could not confirm that Oswald was the shooter. Read actual statements, not anther's opinion on the matter, then you will see that it is not what we were told it was. Even the media of today call Oswald the "man accused of killing JFK." Before they said killer...
I have spent 17 years studying original source materials about the assassination. I went into it as a naieve kid, like you, believing I was going to oslve the greatest conspiracy in history. Then I began visiting the national archives, the Kennedy Library, the Dallas historical society, Dealey Plaza, and interviewing witnesses myself. Not reading statements, INTERVIEWING witnesses. I reversed my opinion once I saw that conspiracy authors lie on purpose to make money.
Witnesses change their stories as the years go by in order to make themselves more important, make money and to make sure that their names are in history. I actually used to go along with Oswald did it, then I had doubts, then I was back to he did it - case closed. Then more lies and omissions made me realize that it WAS a set up. Check Evidence of Revision on google video.
Thanks for the video. I'm coming to Dallas next year so this was very useful for me. However, just one quick point.... you're talking as though Oswald definitely killed Tippit. One thing always glossed over... Oswald was not charged with the murder of the President but rather with the shooting/murder of Officer Tippett.

@leftyntx You're incorrect. Oswald was charged by the Dallas Police with the assassination of President Kennedy at 11:26pm, Friday, November 22, 1963 by complaint # F-154. ~ Reclaiming History, Vincent Bugliosi, page 182.

Its Oswald not oswall
TheEmachines22 6 months ago
Oswald shot Tippet. Nine eyewitesses either saw him do it or saw him running away with the gun in his hand. When the police took Helen Markham down to the station, they accidently put her in the same elevator as Lee Oswald whom they had just brought in. As soon as she saw Oswald, she began screaming and crying hysterically in terror. It was the greatest and surest identification of all time...
Oldirish88 7 months ago
okay conspiracy freaks: what is your explanation as to why LHO was hiding in that theater?
TheXiantruth 8 months ago
@TheXiantruth It was clearly a pre-determined meeting spot with his handler. Likely Oswald believed that, at this meeting in the Texas theater, his handler would tell him what to do next, be it leave the country or stay put. Instead he shows up and falls right into their trap whereby the police arrest him for the President's murder.
deweycheethamandhowe 7 months ago
@deweycheethamandhowe Nope. It doesn't add up. A "patsy" doesn't pull out a gun and just barely miss killing a cop.
TheXiantruth 7 months ago
@TheXiantruth how about your explanation of why he entered without paying ? he had more than enough money to buy a ticket - he knew the cops would be called - would he want to be in custody if he had just shot kennedy + a dallas cop ??? i think not. oswald was set up - the evidence is overwhelming.
thecrazysouthsx 7 months ago

-CONTINUED-
mrfester42 6 months ago
@mrfester42 damn son...Fester, isn't your bald head calling for it to be shined? Or is that why you believe the conspiracy crap?
All you've done is ad hominem shit that any 12 year old can do. Facts and plausibility dude: you've shown NONE.
TheXiantruth 6 months ago
@TheXiantruth Again, there just isn't enough space here to make any reasonable sense or convince someone like you. That is NOT a cop out. And again, I've been looking at this for more than 40 years. You'll need an above average understanding and knowledge of human psychology, world political history, American history, American psychology... yada, yada, yada!!! If you have an open mind you might get it in a year or so of study. It's not hard to understand if you don't jump to conclusions.
mrfester42 6 months ago
@mrfester42 wow...FOUR posts that say the same stupidass rationalizing implausible shit.
sorry dude---saying stupid shit over and over without read evidence doesn't magically make
something true.
fairy tale believer--that's you.
TheXiantruth 6 months ago
@mrfester42 Yes, there are psychological aspects to the crime. Many are overlooked, (except the one where Lee Oswald is referred to as an "angry lone nut"). Yes, discernment is needed to look into JFK's murder. Many people underestimate "power" and what can happen if it is misused. When an asassination occurs in another country, the media in the US will call it a "coup". When it happens here, the "angry lone nut" scenerio is the generic reason.
TheAmbassador11 1 month ago
@TheXiantruth Stubborn minds easily dismiss a few pieces of information, like you dismiss the jagged little bits here. Here's an anecdote that SHOULD make more Americans think but sadly, I've tried and mostly it doesn't. A European friend of mine explained that most Europeans who are aware of the JFK mystery say one big aspect is that Americans refuse to believe that their sacred government could be involved in something that has always gone on throughout history. We're blind, they say.
mrfester42 6 months ago
@TheXiantruth Most people in the world who aren't American who know of the mystery have no trouble at all thinking that it's a very real possibility that the US government did this. They can't understand why Americans are blind to the possibility. In the three short entries that I just made here, I couldn't possibly convince you with facts. I've had countless long conversations presenting facts to people who still refuse to believe. The perpetrators knew this American psychology very well.
mrfester42 6 months ago
@TheXiantruth You'll need an attention span longer than the time it would take to read 1 or 2 books on the subject to see that Oswald wasn't even remotely involved. You'll need to curb the impulse to jump to conclusions after reading only 5 books on the subject. You'll think you'll have learned enough to see what SEEMS obvious. You'll NOT have learned enough. Maybe after reading about 20 books on the subject you'll recognize how it wasn't impossible after all to keep the WHOLE truth hidden.
mrfester42 6 months ago

More CIA revisions.

-
These videos are on You Tube.

Ruby's?
01sapphireGTS 1 year ago
@10Faenor 5 other witnesses other than markham positively identified oswald as the shooter of tippit. I suppose all 5 are wrong too.
jacktorse28 1 year ago
@jacktorse28 Name them. If not, you don't have such names.
10Faenor 1 year ago
@10Faenor Ted Callaway, Sam Guinyard, Barbara Davis, Virginia Davis, Domingo Benavides and William W. Scoggins. It was actually 6 other than markham. Oswald walked within 12 feet of scoggins who was in his cab, clearly seeing his features and hearing him utter "poor damn cop". Minutes later oswald was seen in Brewer's shoe store avoiding the police on the street then ducking into the theatre. You wont find most of these names in conspiracy books because they slam dunk oswld as the killer.
jacktorse28 1 year ago
@jacktorse28 Why did the DPD police threaten Domingo not to talk about the description being different than Oswald?
-
Further, Domingo's father-in-law, J.W. Jackson, was unimpressed with the DPD over Eddy's death. 2 weeks later Jackson was shot and wounded at in his home. As the gunman drove away, a police car coming down the block made no attempt to follow the gunman. Instead, Jackson said he was advised, "You'd better lay off of this business. Don't go around asking question; that's our job."
10Faenor 1 year ago
@10Faenor I dont know anything about these murder/shootings of benavides/father in law. Yes, D. Benavides did describe his impressions of the back of his hairline being square ect., however he was giving his impressions of Oswald . Have you read his testamony? Because nowhere in his testamony, which he signed off as being authentic, does he mention that this discription is "different" than that of oswald.
jacktorse28 1 year ago
@jacktorse28 Benavides saw Oswald impersonator Donald Wayne House. he drove a black Ford. A black ford was seen leaving the Gen. Walker shooting.
-
Also, those other names, I read off wc.
Markham. She said the same as Aquilla Clemmons. Short, bushy hair, etc. And Benavides said the guy had curly hair. None of this is Oswald.
Clemmons said 2 men. If you read Benavides' testimony carefully, the 2nd man is him.
Markham was prompted by detectives and lied for them. Mark Lane taped her to prove it.
10Faenor 1 year ago
@jacktorse28
10Faenor 1 year ago
@jacktorse28 You have nothing but more of the same lies from liars like McAdams and Myers and CIA assholes putting out lies on Wikipedia.
10Faenor 1 year ago
@10Faenor You left off the warren commision too. That's where i got the actual names. I suppose ALL SIX witnesses other than markham, six people who were just going about their lives who happen to see this are liars too. Hmm sounds likely. Let's believe Acquila Clemmons, whom Mark Lane discovered
(go figure) and not the other 6 who swore under oath that oswald was the assassin. Dont ever let facts get into the way or it will ruin a facinating conspiracy.
jacktorse28 1 year ago
@10Faenor You are wrong on both statements. First, during the interview with Markham, Mark Lane, who apparantly from some source had heard that Markham had described the gunman that way, asked three (3) times if the gunman was "short, heavy, and with bushy hair". Each time she denied it. Second, Clemmons was the ONLY OF ALL THE WITNESSES who claimed that there were two men involved in the shooting. That sole fact strongly questions her credibility.
Streiff77 1 year ago
@10Faenor Remember, Clemmons never saw the actual shooting, questioning who she really saw as people came running from all directions after Oswald had fled the scene. In Rush to Judgement, her statement about a man with some CAMERAS that was trying to talk to her was not included in the documentary. Could that maybe have been a reporter that Clemmons turned into a lawman? Considering her earlier inconsistent statements, this could be true.
Streiff77 1 year ago
@Streiff77 You are full of shill lies and shit, and you know it.
Lane had taped his conversation with Markham and turned the tape over to wc assholes. Markham & Clemmons said the same identity. You know that.
Benavides also said the killer had curly (bushy) hair and did not look like Oswald. You know that.
Most likely killer was Donald Wayne House. And you know that.
-
In summary, you know that you are an asshole liar.
10Faenor 1 year ago
@10Faenor Wow, didn't know that truth hurt you so bad that you have to insult people.
Apparantly, you haven't read the transcript of the interview. Maybe you should give it a try and you will see that Markham denied the description Lane asked for.
Don't you think that a chased murderer would look messed up? Remember, Benavides TESTIFIED that Oswald was the shooter. In summary, you should know all that if you have studied the assassination. Apparantly, you live in a phantasy world.
Streiff77 1 year ago
@Streiff77 Markham was intimidated and lied for the conspiracy. Lane taped it and gave it to the wc assholes. They never said Lane was lying to them or prosecuted him over this. It was just ignored.
Benavides never IDed Oswald was the killer.
"...his hair didn't taper off, ...down and squared off...made his head look fiat in back". Complexion"...a little bit darker than average". "...asked me if I could identify him, and I said I don't think I could".
He stated the killer only resembled Oswald.
10Faenor 1 year ago
@10Faenor Intimidated? Says who? Once again, Markham never gave the description. REMEMBER, she identified Oswald in the police lineup as the one who killed Tippit, and so did five other witnesses. You are escaping that fact, only to accentuate separate witness testimonies that gives discrepancy to the actual majority of witnesses, that apparantly, you are avoiding to explain. It is a common fact that witnesses will descripe events slightly different. However, not in the conspiracy world!
Streiff77 1 year ago
@Streiff77 You are escaping the fact that you talk like a confused idiot.
She did give the description, but it was not what the conspirators puppets wanted.

THanks--GREAT VID!!!!

@ShutterBun, yes I made this during the last anniversary - I guess that was 45.

Terrific video. I've seen still photos of these areas, but the video, along with your live narration give it a great "you are there" feeling. Ironic that "JFK" is being shown at the Texas Theater. I assume you made this during one of the anniversaries of the assassination. Great job!

@CrashingCrockery - Growing up (here in Texas) we always said "Look At Television" or T.V. Sounded so natural when I read what you wrote.
shawnpwilliams 2 years ago
And yes, seeing the seat in the theater is freaky, I wonder how many times the theater staff have to reupholster if from crazed fans who cut pieces out of it thinking they are getting "an original piece of history..."
CrashingCrockery 2 years ago

For YEARS I read every conspiracy book on JFK assassination. I would read them 2 or 3 times over. Then I realized that they can't all be right. There were up to 30 different groups or individuals who killed the President??? I finally read the Warren Report and then Vincent Bugliosi book "Reclaiming History." Oswald acted alone and killed both Kennedy and Tippit. Case Closed.
wedsprfmj 2 years ago
You are so right! I finally came to the conclusion that all those theories were just cash cows for those that made them up. My grandfarther told me once that if you tell a big enough lie people will believe it and I think that truism applies here. Also Bugliosi was right when he said in his book that conspiracy theorist hold their views as a religion and no matter what evidence you show them to prove them wrong they refuse to believe it.

go watch "Rush to Judgement" and "The Men who killed Kennedy" the banned chapters.Ruth & Michael Paine were CIA associates who got him the job at the TSBD

It's too bad that Oswald's seat is designated by that JFK movie poster. That movie was a pack of lies.
sudaev 3 years ago
Oswald did it. Do some independent, original source material research. Go to dealey plaza. the kennedy library. the national archives. interview witnesses yourself. stop reading xonspiracy bunk books, which are full of lies to deceive and make money. stop being a sheep. wake the fuck up, little child.

Thank you Shawn, nice job. It gave me the chills to finally see the inside of that theatre.

Cry of Battle
War is Hell
robertmastroianni 3 years ago
very good question! it was a double billing " Cry of the Battle" starirng Van Heflin and "War is Hell" with Dorothy Malone .

The tour was somewhat interesting. I'd never seen the theater or the house LHO roomed in. I've been in Dallas my whole life.

great video......i also didnt like the assertion oswald killed tippit but it was great to see all the sites
11leverhume 3 years ago
The only problem with this video is that no one ever identified Oswald as Tippit's killer. In fact, he had never been tried, much less convicted of the crime.
n0gar 3 years ago 3
The only problem with your 'theory' is that that were eye witnesses who identified Oswald as the shooter. If he didn't murder Tippit why did he try to kill the arresting officer in the theatre?
So you're not only misinformed you're fucking WRONG.
proudshithead 3 years ago
You are misinformed my friend. NO witness identified Oswald and Helen Markham - the only one to ID him AFTER she was told to, was later discredited. However, most witnesses don't recall Mrs. Markham being there at the time of the shooting. Oswald did not try to "kill" the police, he just saw that he was clearly set up at that point. You way of over describing events is laughable. You need to READ ACTUAL witness testimony and you will READ that people describe people other than Oswald...
n0gar 3 years ago
Sorry for turning this into another "conspiracy discussion" but n0gar, several people DID identify Oswald as Tippit's killer in police lineups, as well as through photographs.
ShutterBun2 2 years ago
Not outright and not at first. There are many others who describe someone other than Oswald - in fact most do. If you read actually statements instead of taking other's opinions as fact, you might see another side of things. Doing that is what made me first realize that something WAS up.
n0gar 2 years ago 4
@n0gar Just curious, what specific official statement did any witness say that leads you to believe Oswald did not shoot tipit?
jacktorse28 1 year ago
@jacktorse28: Taken from 10Faenor: "Benavides also said the killer had curly (bushy) hair and did not look like Oswald. You know that." Once I read his statement, THAT is when I said that he is NOT describing Oswald. If he had, I would have assumed Oswald and ended it. Most described the lookS of Cubans - or even Jews! Combine that with Domingo's brother getting shot and many witnesses being told to shut up by cops or FBI, it can't be coincidence. Why would people make this up?
n0gar 1 year ago
The line ups were a sick joke. And photographs after Oz was murdered and his picture was in every newspaper and after he was publicly declared Tippit's killer.
TrueNovice 2 years ago
A sick joke? You really think the DPD was simply willing to frame some innocent guy, rather than be sure to convict the true killer of one of their own?
Few of the witnesses at the lineups had ANY doubt whatsoever that LHO was the man. And if the lineups were indeed a farce, it's only because LHO's own behavior during them tended to incriminate himself.
ShutterBun2 2 years ago 2
A documentary "The Thin Blue Line" showed the cops did frame an innocent man for the murder of one of their own. Wade office was frameup factory. Blame the victim Oz for protesting the horrible lineups. The Dallas police had total control over the lineups. When Dulles asked about Tippits involvement in "narcotics" what was he talking about.? The cops in Dallas were considered so corrupt, Fed law enforcement would not share intelligence with them since it was they were so compromised.
TrueNovice 2 years ago
Interesting point about the Randall Adams case. One point of interest: Guy(Gus) Rose was involved in both cases, as far as interrogation of the suspect.
That's definitely food for thought. But while there are a number of similarties(routine traffic stop in West Dallas, more or less similar to Oak Cliff) there are also some significant differences. (very little forensic evidence in Adams/Harris case, very questionable eyewitnesses)
Still you're right, they had the wrong guy in a signal 19.
ShutterBun2 2 years ago 2
If nothing else, it's a good excuse to watch "The Thin Blue Line," which has long been one of my favorites.
ShutterBun2 2 years ago
Well no because there were already reports on the radio saying the police had shut down the Texas School Depository building. So he was the only one in the lineups saying that he worked in the that building. That was what people were basing there decisions on.
rjrod 2 years ago
thank you - these conspiracy nut jobs read lies, and regurgitate them because they are too lazy to do independent research themselves. they have a preconceived notion, and ignore anything to the contrary. It's anti-intellectual and pathetic.
BigPapaShitz 3 years ago
right on, buddy. these conspiracy swallowing douche idiots need to wake up and stop believing the lies.
BigPapaShitz 3 years ago
No one identified Oswald as Tippit's killer? Are you fucking kidding/ Have you read a single legitimate thing on the assassination? Clearly you haven';t, you addle brained liar. Rofl no one, eh? unfuckingbelievable.
BigPapaShitz 3 years ago
Instead of reading books, why don't you read actual witness statements and THEN ask yourself if the people the witnesses describe fit Oswald or some Cuban types. Either way no one describes Oswald. The key witnesses said that they could not confirm that Oswald was the shooter. Read actual statements, not anther's opinion on the matter, then you will see that it is not what we were told it was. Even the media of today call Oswald the "man accused of killing JFK." Before they said killer...
n0gar 3 years ago
Rofl give it up, child.
BigPapaShitz 3 years ago
Witnesses change their stories as the years go by in order to make themselves more important, make money and to make sure that their names are in history. I actually used to go along with Oswald did it, then I had doubts, then I was back to he did it - case closed. Then more lies and omissions made me realize that it WAS a set up. Check Evidence of Revision on google video.
