@somiati...umm that is the lead that's ray's part...ray plays all the major chords and solos and frank plays all the background power chords and some background solo...if you look at the music/tab you'll see that rays is mostly 3 note chords and solo part and franks is mainly 2 note chords...hope that helped :T

@farmfarmer I have the music playing in the background so I can tell where I am. The mic on my guitar amp doesn't really pick that sound up, so afterwards, I mix the sound from my guitar and the backing track together, and mix that sound to match the video I made while recording the guitar. :) It's kind of confusing, but it works out. Basically, I hit record for my guitar sound, and record on the camera at the same time, and match it up later.

@Genmills Thanks! you actually explained it really well. I'm just getting into guitar recording. I only have experience recording vocals for radio, so your technique confused me since it wouldn't work in a studio using the mics that I'm used to using. Those mics can pick up any ambient background noise!

@farmfarmer Your welcome. The SM57 mics are pretty directional, so they don't pick up much of the background noises which is really good for making videos like this. :)
