@guitarace1965 Jimmy Page NEVER played the same solo the same way twice. Often what you hear on the album is just the particular improvisation from the performance that was recorded.

If he wants to have a band apart from Aerosmith he should write songs unique to that band. Aside from the fact that only he van make that guitar sound so good, the rest sound like a so-so wannabe Aerosmith band. Lead singer should be embarrassed to be so un-Tyleresque and should demand his own material.

when John Corabi began working on the "Mötley Crüe" album with the boys, it just wasn't Mötley Crüe & people hated it because Vince was gone. like you said, you can't just take out at member, throw in a random new one, & expect nothing to be different or go wrong.
