This was during Crosby's MVP, 120 point season, before he suffered his first injury, he fucken looked like Forsberg hitting people and taking the puck away with his agility, hustle, strength etc...

unfortunately high ankle sprains can take as much as 2 years to heal, before he went down in TB, he was on pace to capture his 2nd straight scoring title, he's becoming more of a goal scorer now aswell, he's getting his crazy legs back.

Pens won in a shoot out, Fleury made a couple great saves and Malkin ended up beating Khabibulin to win the shoot out

this is proof of the ovechin/crosby debate as to why crosby is a better player...every aspect of the game is in this shift and he completely dominates it.

that's a true statement but i don't think that means corsby us BETTER. they are both talented and both have done amazing things on the ice. who are we to say that one talent is better than the other? and WHY figure it out. i'm gonna sit back and enjoy the games they play when they show off those amazing skills that made them so popular.

This is what makes Sid the greatest player in the game. The guy fights through traffic, takes puck possession after laying out hits, and does it with amazing skill and finesse. Better than Gretz at age 19, dare I say.

I agree. Gretz was great in his own right but Sid just dominates the game with incredible speed and strength. We're witnessing greatness in the making here. This is truly special.

Just amazing!! I was at that game and it was just unbelievable how many times he would skool like 2-3 hawks at once. He was so determined in this video but some awesome saves by Khabibulin.

BTW - go out and skate around someimte.. you'll see how hard it is to do some of the stuff he pulls
