Dude champion for making the video!!! my Antec 900 is dusty as hell and was wondering how to get to the fans then I found this video! thanks for taking the time to upload this! :)
wow what a waste of time. let me save you some. if the computer is hooked up and u just need to routine clean it just take your vac hose and suck the fans out while its off. about twice a year take you computer outside and if you have a shop vac, put the hose on the BLOW side, open the left side of the case and blast all the dust out. takes 5 minutes and it gets it 99% dust free.
@Aapjeofzow I now have the 1200 and its easier if you have the dus filters on. Just usncrew, slide the drive cages forward, take out dust filter, wash it, dry it, put it back in. :)
@KiyoAdrianXevious Ah, thanks I've cleaned my system yesterday with the instructions and worked out pretty well. Ain't that hard although it takes some time.
washing hands wont stop it... static electricity comes from charged ions in almost anything conductive... you walk 2 steps on the carpet and you're statically charged again... washing hands doesn't do anything.
Ouch lol, yeah. I suggest disconnecting it and then putting it back in. If it still doesnt work get some new fans fron antec's website. Try a new colour maybe. :P
thank god for dust filters holy shit

wow I'm glad I bought the 902 so I can just slip out the dust filters and clean them I couldn't stand doing this every time lol

@jersthecool i agree, just bought the 1200 ;) this is an old vid
KiyoAdrianXevious 2 years ago
Yeah the 1200 is a great case I just didn't want to spend the extra when the 902 is big enough plus the 1200 is really tall

May i ask how you wired up all your cold cathodes and LED's in your room/table?? all wire from your pc?
Move house and i want to make a 'gaming room'! :) thank you

I thought about that with the gloves and static charges, do you have a special vacum cleaner?
0lleman 2 years ago
nope :) normal vacuum cleaner.
KiyoAdrianXevious 2 years ago
This is why i have a boiling hatred for this case, it takes TOO FREAKING LONG just to reach the damn fans. I often regret buying it.

you obviously don't realize that static electricity can kill parts like motherboards, graphics cards, and RAM.
KiyoAdrianXevious 2 years ago
lol of course i do... i build computers long time ago...
i was just saying... i don't use gloves all i do its i clean my arms very well and not using stuff like timers or rings... and i do just fine x P
