  • @jlwplusdmw How do you know that? Because the home school and private school associations collect data. They have to, for their kids to be eligible for college, and for us to know they do so well on tests. Not that I entirely disagree with you; family support is absolutely vital to student success. Makes sense to have a student's data portable and easily accessible. Amazing how hard simple record keeping tasks can be at a major university!

  • Very informative! Most people that are not privey to the education system do not understand the value of data. Without data educators will not know what they need to focus their teaching on or how to gauge their progress or the students progress.

  • Why must we have to have all this data? Education isn't healthcare or business. Just another example here of the education bureaucracy trying to find ways to bloat government. How much data is collected in Home School associations or Private Schools? None to very little. Hilariously, without all this DATA they come out to be over half again ahead of public school kids on tests. Data isn't the solution. Money isn't the solution. Fixing families is the solution, but that doesn't cost any money!

  • Very well done!
