  • holyy fuck

  • nice exposion and really well done :)

  • nice

  • glad ya'll ran like hell!

  • when rednecks get bored :D

  • That was like doomsday, its went all black and shit.

  • perfect example of "Go hard or go home"

  • you guys got ballz of ice.

  • Ow that would hurt if just one lil molten thingy fell on you

  • HOW SMALL IS UR BRAIN!? shit man i´ve NEVER thought that anyone would be stupid enough to light thermite on ICE that way

  • how muchdid you put in there

  • Id like to remind everyone there is another video from a further distance

  • @kotton87 Didn't Mythbusters say "DO NOT TO TRY THIS AT HOME".

  • Yes lighting the sparkler from the top works well, at the time we werent thinking about it and the plan was to light it and hit the deck!

  • you should try this on top of a frozen lake

  • Dude that is facking dangerous...

  • I thought the mythbusters said "DONT try this at home" haha

  • Nice!!!!

    Check out my fireboooom ;-)

  • safety fail...but very nice

  • You should find a better way to ignite it :D

  • 1:01 ahhhh nothing like some nice molten metal raining from the sky

  • Why not have the camera back aways so we don't have to miss so much durring the excape.

  • at least you ran right before that happened...could've ended badly.

  • you wouldn't be that close if you knew how big of a bang it would cause. Too late just RUN!!!

  • KA-BOOOOM

  • Парни круто

  • poster children for pro abortion.

  • i would like to do that with my friend to...if i had one

  • RUN like a B!TCH XD

  • Thumbs up for the idiot with the sparkler! :P

  • thermite + ice = explosion and RUN LIKE @%#$

  • I love how the automatic light level correction on the camera makes day turn to night in the light of the thermite

  • Сделали бы фитиль) Американцы любят экстрим)))

  • You smoke to much.

  • Nowdays Redneck is anyone who is a crazy person who does crazy shit, for exampel me, I banged my head so hard (SWEDISH STYYYLE) in a door window becuase I got pissed over my voise cracking all the f***ing time so I felt wet under the skin and started to hear bad.And my 2 year older crazy cusin started a fire in a mountain when he was like 11-12 years, now tell me Swedes are not rednecks.

Otherwise we are blue yellow necks!

  • Rednecks for life

  • @SwedishEpicTime rednecks? Rednecks live in the south of America. They don't have Icey lakes in the South of America. Dumbass.

  • nice how did you make it? :)

  • Play with thermite kids...

  • The funny thing is were all in our mid 20's and ive used thermite plenty of times

  • The funny thing is were all in our mid 20's, and ive used thermite plenty of times

  • @kotton87

they have magnesium strips you can use, they come in at least 35ft lengths

  • Dont play around with thermite kids

  • shake too much, nearly missed the explosion

  • you recorded this with a motor? :D

  • O.O OMG now do it with 2 times so much Thermite xD

  • you are idiots. why don't you just use the burner to ignite the thermite directly?

you are supposed to use it as a fuse

  • sounds like a beast truck

  • That was awesomely dangerous

  • cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xD

  • impresive but in extremely unsafe way ;]

  • 1:00 is so beautiful

  • @100silverpizza your an idiot thermite isnt illigal or howeverthe fuck u spell it

  • @100silverpizza go right ahead buddy, what are u going to tell them, theres videos of ppl on here making pipe bombs, im sure they have better things to do, and u need to get a life

  • @kotton87 Wow, 100silverpizza, you're a fucking retard. You seriously have nothing better to do than try and feel important by calling the FBI about a kid doing something completely legal, and something they probably won't give two shits about. For all you know it could have been a science experiment, which actually, it is. I would say get a life, but I highly doubt nobody wants you around. So do us all a favor and swallow some acetone. Fucking moron.

  • Why the fuck are you throwing the magnesium down the container?

Why not use it like a regular fuse and not almost blow up and/or incinerate you both?

  • @CertifiedBad4ss, its a sparkler, u have to lite it and push it down into the thermite. I've tried a fuse before and it wouldnt work

  • @kotton87 Then why not light the sparkler from the bottom and stick the tip into the thermite?

And yes, you can light a sparkler from the bottom, its just harder.

Also, I know a fuse won't work, what I meant was to use the (what i thought was) magnesium as a fuse.

    Cool vid anyway!

  • @kotton87 no you dont, you just have to push it down before you light it so you have plenty of time to get away from it after it is lit. Y u no understand

  • @kotton87 lol of cause you need a sparkler and not a normal fuse but you can use the sparkler like a fuse! than you dont have to run away... -.-

  • @kotton87 u should have stuck the sparkler into the thermite with the spark endpoint inside the thermite mixture. then you light it. the buffer time that you have to run away is from the top of the sparkler to when it meets the thermite. much safer. there is much to learn my young padawan

  • @kotton87 You coulda have used a fuse n wrapped it around a strip of magnesium ribbon at the end. It wouldve lit the magnesium n then lit the thermite. Just sayin.

  • @kotton87 Why not push it down AND LIGHT THE OTHER END?

  • @kotton87 Sparklers contain magnesium

  • @CertifiedBad4ss A normal fuse more than often isn't enough to ignite the Thermite.

Magnesium has a much higher burning temperature.

  • @Hellsadvocate I know, you aren't listening to me.

I thought you were using magnesium. And then I said use it LIKE a fuse, were you stick one end in the thermite and light the other end.

You can do the same with a sparkler, just stick in the top and light the bottom.

  • @CertifiedBad4ss regular fuse is not hot enuff thermite is very very hard to light it needs white hot heat

  • @CertifiedBad4ss in saying that i didnt watch him stick the white hot end stright in the thermite before i just commented why not use the sparkler as a fuse wow that was stupid

  • @1ukjunglednbraver I have no idea what you just said.

    Speak English dude.

  • @CertifiedBad4ss you know the funny thing is im English whats your first language

  • @CertifiedBad4ss Cause they be stupid mofos

  • @CertifiedBad4ss When you use thermite for rail welding you light the magnesium sparkler and put it down the hole in the top of the container and wait. It doesn't light instantly. But we don't have ice under the container, we have rails and a brick mould. If it was unsafe to do it like that, we wouldn't do it.

  • FUCK this gonna hurt someone in close distance!

  • Where did you guys get that? O.o

  • @Techgeek564 @Techgeek564 Ice can be made very easily, simply take some water, then freeze it, you'll end up with ice, There ya go!

Oh the thermite. Thats iron oxide and powered aluminum

  • ohhh mah gawd!

  • use a fuse next time!

  • Love the smokers cough too.

  • Love the V8 soundtrack!!

  • yay thermite rain!!!!

  • Darwinism fails once again

  • nice!!!! just got it on film in time!

  • wow nice dude that looked like a volcano

  • does this reaction have something to do with splitting the hydrogen and oxygen atoms then the heat re-fusing them?

  • @massacreman3000 Thats what some folks think, personally i think its a bit more complex than that. It's feasible that when the molten iron comes into contact with the ice the iron is oxidized by the oxygen in h2o much like sodium metal when added to water as a result vast amounts of hydrogen gas are released and ignited by the heat of the thermite reaction.

  • @coconut7joemanji if that was hydrogen going up, then the explosion would have been more like a fireball instead of that rain of metal. my there is that when the super heated liquid metal iron hit the ice, the ice was evaporated and vaporized so quickly that the result steam blew the still liquid metal into the air.

  • @sloob206 have you seen hydrogen explosions? there is very little light produced as there this no carbon to produce a yellow/orange flame. Also as thermite reactions are in the 3000 C territory and the thermal decomposition of water is 2000 C then hydrogen must be being produced. Also hot metals like iron react with water to form a metal oxide and hydrogen gas. So its most probably a combination of both hydrogen and steam explosion hence me saying "i think its a bit more complex than that".

  • @coconut7joemanji molten aluminium can react extremely violently with water producing hydrogen gas

  • lol we weld with thermit.. and it specifically says not to weld in the rain cos it reacts exactly like that in the video.

but our dodgey company just says.. put up a tent, however when the rain goes sideways its suicide.

  • Now that was something spectacular.

  • Molten metal all over the place, nice.

  • dude that guy almost got caught by the thermite at the beginning that would have not been good.

  • @talha318 umm that was me lol.... i woulda made it haha

  • @talha318 no shit it would not have been good.....

  • what would happen, if you mix thermite in to water... the freeze it and try to burn?

  • @KBendix I think thermite reacts violently to water too, IIRC

  • @broo234 it does this on ice because the ice melts. so yes, it react to water =]
