I feel the treatment for autoimmune diseases is worse than the disease. All these rheumatologists do is treat symptoms by using cancer causing toxic chemicals. Unless you have organ threatening disease steroids should never be given. Immune
suppressants will kill you quicker than Lupus ever could. Less medicine is better than writing prescription instead of finding alternative treatments. Patients have to stand up for their rights & not be bullyed by these Dr's

I know many times we don't have any better as a treatment, but at least they should take good care ofthe nutrition of the patient while he or she is under this kind of treatment. Some doctors recommend to the patient eat big amounts of bread, sugar, trying to avoid the loss of weight. BIG MISTAKE. People, sugar is an immunosupressor. Those patients need vitamins and real food, no sugar.
